I've been going to ABC Nails for at least 20 years for pedicures. I love the staff and Miss Julie.

It's the holiday season and the weather is nice. Everyone is out shopping. I'm running errands and today was nail day. I noticed while going into another store they weren't busy. Once I left from the other business, I popped in to see if they offered dip. They do. They were not busy at all. Yay for me!!! I walked right in and to the station I went. Now, I will say that I was very disappointed with the very limited dip colors they have. They desperately need to revamp and add to their selection. Because they didn't have a great selection, I opted for gel. I think it's best to say that they specialize in gel. Anyway, the nail tech was very thorough, gentle and patient. My nails walked in bare and in need of some TLC and they got just that. It was very slow on this Saturday. That was a plus for me and probably not so much for the business. The salon was very quiet. There's a possibility that I would return for gel only. I'm going to see how long my nails last before having to get them done again. read more

I've had the pleasure to visit this nail salon twice and both experiences were top notch. The time I was able to visit, my bf and I were on a dinner date and he wanted to gift me with a pedi. The original place that were going to go to were close and we saw that they were open. We arrived maybe an hour before the closed with no appt. They were busy but still made accommodations to take us in! They had excellent service, was very friendly, patient and funny!! It was such a warm and welcoming environment. This place doesn't get as much credit as they deserve. Their polishing game is top notch! My pedi literally last a month without a chip. 10 out of 10 recommended!!! read more

Full disclosure, I love how pulled together manicured nails make me feel. I don't get manicures all the time because I feel like they make my nails flakey and weak, but I'm only human and wanted to treat myself. ABC nails is located in the strip mall next to pensy spices, five guys and longs mattress. They where the most helpful bunch of people I have met, they got me right in! I love gel manicures, and I had every intention of getting one. But, the woman mentioned powder manicures.. I have heard of them but never found a place on the north east side that does them. I figured I should be Adventurous and try something new. It's quite the process to watch! They Dremel your nails to make the powder take. So it's a Dremel powder, paint with clear coat and boom! The salon is nice and bright and clean from what I could see from the pedicure chair. I just got a regular pedicure with sea salt scrub. It cost $40. Even on a busy Friday I was in and out on in about 30 min. I'll visit again for more services soon. read more

Went for a dip manicure; no extensions or fake nails, but she put acrylic over the top of my nail making them unnaturally thick and weird and then less than six hours later one started peeling off. Further, when she was done with the dip, she used this lotion on my hands that smelled so old and weird; I couldn't wait to escape to wash my hands. I will not be back here, bummer because I liked that it was next to Eyes by India where I get my eyebrows done and they do an amazing job; I was hoping to combine all the beauty services into one stop, oh well, I'll just keep it moving. read more

I feel very discriminated by the service that I received today at this place. I was kicked out of this nail salon while I was getting my nails dry and was having a face time call. Before going to the "drying station" the girl who finished my manicure asked me "if I spoke Spanish" which I do. She rushed to finish my manicure and to paint my nails. There was only me, and another customer left, my phone was right in front of me. I answered a face time call, short after the owner approached me, didn't really check if my nails were dry and asked me "to just leave" with out my nails been completely dry. I asked him "are you kicking me out, my nails are not dry yet" he responded that I was too loud and that he was bothered my voice, to just get out of there. My phone call was in Spanish. (I thought he was joking for a second) I got very upset and told him about how discriminated I felt. I mentioned that I wasn't going to be back, he laughed and said he did not care. I had already paid for the service. I had already being to this shop three times, they do not have good customer service and they also don't have the greatest nail technicians however their location is convenient to my home address. Just got done with a pedicure by KiKi. Worst experience ever. I tried to rub off her stank face as "natural" until she looked at my friends toes, smirked and looked up at the girl doing my friends toes. She didn't ask me how I wanted my toes, or what kind of pedicure i wanted, she just wanted to be done with me. I always tip no matter what but she rightfully deserved nothing but i gave her a $1. after she was done with me, she was called to do another pedicure and rolled her eyes and puffed. The tech did not remove the cuticle from my toes, did not put lotion on my feet. Your typical nail salon for the most part. I do like the fact that they don't "shave" at your feet like so many stop in mani/pedi places do. The water was way to hot and I had to point this out to the tech. I did not get to relax in the foot bath long before she got started, which kind of sucks, but it was a 25 Mani so I won't complain much. Great for a quicky, but if you want a full experience you may want to drop in a a spa. read more

This is one of the worst nails salons in the Castleton/Fishers area. The nail tech actually hurt my nails with the drill. When I asked why she's was using such a sharp drill on my natural nails she said my dip polish was too thick - so, rather than soaking she used a sharp drill that should never be used on natural nails. The dip polish wasn't clean and the polish looked horrible. I will not be going back to this salon. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I went with my grandma to get my nails done and not only did I have to wait an extra 40 minutes, but the woman who did my nails told me to "Hurry Up." As she started prepping my nails for a full gel set, she asked me if I wanted square or oval I asked for coffin and she said it was extra (which I already knew, it always is) and kept repeatedly asking me if I wanted it and that it was extra. As she started shaping my nails she told me my nails were too fat for the design and that I should just get square. I told her I didn't like that and I wanted short coffin shaped nails. For the rest of the time I was getting my nails done, she kept telling me it wouldn't look good and my fingers were too fat. She was also really rough with me. My nails are different shapes and I asked her to fix them and she didn't want to do it. I have never been so disrespected in my life. It has only been a week and the paint has chipped, one of them broke and the more I look at them, the more upset I am. I had a bad experience with this place in the past and my grandma said they had gotten better. Horrible business, would not recommend. I went in to get a gel manicure 2 weeks ago however gel started to peel after 6 days. I returned to the salon and informed the owner Lee that I was unhappy with the set. He didn't offer me a re-do set for the poor quality instead he tells me that my nails are oily. I preceded to purchase the dip overlay which is supposed to lads 3-4 weeks.. exactly a week later the dip nails start to pop off! At this point I am livid! I have gotten a gel set and a dip set in a 2 week time frame ! I called again to complain so I am suppose to return tomorrow to get hopefully an "on the house" set . Horrible experience and I would give zero Stars if I could. I was in Indianapolis because my brother died and I came to the salon the day before his funeral. I am disabled and this place discriminated against me by refusing me service because I have a service dog. When I explained to employee who greeted me at the door, who was some kind of manager, that by law he was required to provide me service, he said they just didn't allow pets. I explained to him that my dog was NOT a pet, that it was a service dog and he was required to allow us entry and provide me service he still refused. He approached my dog and started roughhousing with it (without my permission) to prove that he had nothing personal against dogs, not understanding that you should never touch a service animal without permission. My dog was wearing its service dog vest and was clearly identifiable as a service dog. This is AGAINST THE LAW and a clear act of discrimination against people with disabilities, in clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act which has been in existence now for nearly 40 years. If this business still doesn't know the law it should not be serving customers. I am taking all avenues of recourse at my disposal, starting with the Indiana Civil Rights Commission and the Indiana Department of regulatory agencies. I have no doubt that this business will continue this behavior in the future. Please do not give this Salon your business! It reflected badly on the city, and was a horrible experience for someone who was in town for a funeral in the first place. read more

I've been to ABC nails twice now and both times I've been so happy with my nails! Not only did they get me right in (whereas most other places if you walk in you have to wait or come back) but their entire staff is friendly and gets the job done quickly so you're not there all day!
