Absolutely love this nail salon. Lots of technicians. I've been coming for a few months now and have always had a good experience with everyone who has done my nails and pedicure. All really good, but Nikki and Tom have been awesome! Love their spirits. One evening I came in an hour before closing and they did my pedicure and nails at the same time. They also serve wine, champagne, and popcorn too!
Since moving to Indianapolis in 2015 I have gotten my nails done at Nail Bar. I absolutely love the owners & team. Their customer service is second to none. They're personable & kind & they treat their patrons with respect which forms genuine connections. The establishment is ALWAYS clean & presentable. They are sanitary & offer other services as well, like eyebrow waxes etc...They offer complimentary wine. They're so good that when I arrive they already know my wine preference haha. Throughout the years, I have tried different nail designs, types, etc... & they have someone for everything. Rather your preference is acrylics, gel, or a classic manicure I promise you will find the perfect nail tech here. I'll be honest, I've even visited other nail shops but always return because they're THAT GOOD. Did I mention they offer complimentary wine?It's perfect for a date or a girl's day out. Take my word for it, visit Nail Bar & you won't regret it.
I've been going to Susan(owner) at Nail Bar for about 5 years now. Two words: Won't stop!! I am not looking forward to the day she retires! The overall vibe of nail bar is extremely welcoming, especially with her husband Min working the front desk. He has QUITE the personality. They offer complimentary wine with your service, and as of recently incorporated popcorn. What's better than getting a pedicure, sipping on a glass of wine and snacking on popcorn?! Nail bar is typically pretty busy, so I recommend making an appointment if you can!
Today I had a manicure with dipped nails from Chi (pronounced "Chee") at the Nail Bar. The salon serves wine and soft drinks to their customers. It was cold outdoors and a plastic cup of Moscato took my mind off the weather. I don't have a regular technician at this salon, I'm usually a walk-in and am assigned to whoever is available. Over the years my experience has been 'hit or miss." Today I connected with Chi. She made a few recommendations that turned out well. On my next visit there, I finally met someone I could schedule an appointment for my services.
I went for a pedicure at the nail bar. I was surprised at how busy it was. When I arrived and checked in, the owner this man pointed to me where to go vs walking me over. From there the bowl I was sat at did not look clean as well as he just walked away. I sat there waited 10mins before anyone came over and offered me anything or to even turn the water on. Unfortunately shortly after a women of another race came in and he attended to her and made sure she was comfortable.... The drinks that come were great. But seeing how the manager even engaged with his employees was very upsetting. It was really demeaning in a sense. And now 4 days later my feet fill like sandpaper. Which is not something common for me. Unfortunately I would rate this place a 4/10. The drinks saved them other wise really just 3
I come here regularly. Recently, my appointment time has been running over or I get here and my requested tech is unavailable. Aside from that...it's always been a great experience!
The services requested were a pedicure and a manicure. Ana was the tech and she was awesome. I chose to try the hybrid gel for my nails. The quality of her work really stood out with all the awesome designs. Nice vibe, they also offer you wine or water while being serviced. Will definitely be back.
This is my new nail spot. I do recommend making an appointment. It is very busy but the place is the best around. I love on the Eastside of Indy and it is worth the wait. They give you complementary wine. Dean was my nail tech and he was very attentive and gave me the best set of nails I've had in years. He exceeded my expectations. I will be back every month. The manager/ owner was extremely personable and great making rounds to make sure everyone was taking care of. I love everything about this place. A little pricey but worth it.
My daughter took me here for mother's day. It was much bigger than II expected. A gentleman was walking around saying who wants a mimosa?! Lol I did! We look over and there is a bar with wine and champagne but also fruit, crackers, meat and cheese ans muffins too. Wow I don't know if this was just for mother's day or all the time. It was busy but they seemed to have enough nail techs. I had called and made an appointment a few days prior. We checked in at the counter and they had us pick out our color. They stayed us and we ended up waiting maybe 20 mins but we had snacks and mimosas. All 3 nail techs came at the same time. They were very personable and laughed and joked with us. They were quick and efficient. We had a good time and so far our nails are still rockin
I'm hurt badly. Went in, my toes are bleeding. My hands are throbbing. I was honestly disappointed by the quality of my nails when they were finished, but didn't say anything. They looked absolutely not how I wanted them, but on top of it all I am cut all over my toes and my finger fingers. When I called on the phone, the owner seemed very sorry. And told me to come in and fix them, but you can't come and work on nails that are openly cut and actively bleeding. I walked in and had my mom help me to advocate for myself for a refund and they were very against it. They proceeded to call my mom name such as Karen and Sheila. They however, did take responsibility for if I get an infection which if I do they told me to go to the hospital and get antibiotic. Which I don't think I should be receiving advice from someone who's not qualified to do so. I did end up getting my full refund, but after a long conversation of how it wasn't just how my nails looked not how I wanted, but how I was actively bleeding on both of my feet and both of my hands. I will include pictures of my nails to show you all the spots that they cut me as well as the horrible job that they did in general for my acrylics. The service in total was $183. And for almost $200 I absolutely should not have walked out looking like this. I'm appalled of how I was treated when I tried to speak up about it. But also the fact that names were being called TO US. Very unprofessional. As we were leaving, they told us not to come back and obviously I would never ever step foot into a place or recommend anyone to ever come to this place. And the owner was the one who disrespected a name called my mom calling her a Karen and Sheila. We have video of the interaction that follows with name-calling from the OWNER. While my mom politely and calmly showed them pictures of the damage on my hands and feet. We did get the refund. But after back and forth of her saying "her nails look cute tho." No. They don't. I'm bleeding and throbbing and leaving the country tomorrow. Great. 0/10.
Today we went on a coupled outing to the nail bar. It was my hubby's first time getting a pedi. He was over the moon with how good his feet looked and felt afterwards. It was professional clean and cordial. The Male receptionist walked throughout the establishment checking in with the guest from time to time. It was a very nice touch. My pedicure was nicely done, The massage chairs were divine, and the pedicure at was attentive. We were offered beverages water, soda or wine. The Nail Bar has an upscale look and feel to it with its multi-chandeliers and nice floors. The Bathrooms were really clean, decorated nicely and modern. I'll definitely be returning.
Ambivalence! Make an appointment despite what the person on the phone says. Called ahead and was told I didn't need to make an appointment, come now. When I showed up I had an hour wait. Since I made the drive, I patiently waited in my car. When I returned 55 minutes later I was promptly seated but waited another 15 minutes. Some patrons weren't wearing a mask which made me slightly uncomfortable. Thankfully none of them were seated near me and I had on a mask. Here's where the ambivalence comes to play. The gentleman that did my pedicure was very nice and did a phenomenal job. I think I dosed off while he massaged my calves and feet. I don't know if I was in desperate need of relaxation or if he had the magic touch. He deserves 5 stars!!! Nail Bar as a whole could benefit from improving their customer service and safety protocols.

In for a pedicure I've been here once before with my daughter this time I went on my own I didn't request anybody specific. I arranged an appointment and came in. They got me in right away set me up offered a drink and some popcorn while they did my pedicure he was Very efficient and friendly and handled my pedicure. Very skillfully. They look awesome and I will definitely be back. It was quieter during the week, but it was a great vibe in the building and it's clean and bright and has a lot of color choices. Just don't! Have been going here for years and it's just gone downhill. The staff here just doesn't care. The quality of work is that of someone who doesn't know what to do. Students do a better job. My pedicure, the guy just "acted" like he was trimming and cleaning the nails. It was a joke. The massage was nice. Then I had a pregnant girl do my nails. They are chunky and bumpy. The design was okay. I won't be going back. read more
I won't go anywhere else. Son greets me with a bottle of Chardonnay and the pedicure water is piping hot, just how I like it! I go to Thai and he gets me right every time! All kinds of designs and shapes, and at this point, I don't even have to tell he what I want. He knows! read more

Took three hours for a full set French tip, didn't do a second coat of the white so it's super patchy. The man who did it kept complaining how long it was taking and saying he was hungry. Ended up being $95 +plus tip but wasn't happy with the nails read more

Great service, nice facility, lots of colors, and wine! I called in the morning and got a same day early afternoon appointment! My two sisters took me out for pampering as I am nearing the end of my pregnancy for delivery. We had a ton of fun. My sisters and I received luxury pedis with gel added, and then dip manicures. Clean restrooms and great location near a lot of shopping and restaurants. My sisters received ample refills of wine, while I was given cold water bottles. Only negatives: They lost our colors we had chosen so we had to search, and the shape was not Consistent on my coffin style. My nails turned to a square type. I could still give five stars because they were really nice to have me come back in and fix the shape in length for me, no attitude or grief given, they just want me to be happy with my nails! I would come back again for sure! Bill and Tim are great. I definitely felt pampered and relaxed. read more

What i wanted vs what i got(bleeding cuticles) . never returning here again. My daughter and I had a mommy/daughter day and decided to stop at the Nail Bar because i always receive great service. BUT TODAY, the man that did my nails DID NOT listen and was very rough! I paid $200 to look a mess! read more

So I've been to Nail Bar a few times And experienced inconsistencies with my acrylic services kit always had wonderful pedicures. I chalked my acrylic issue up to me being picky or too particular. After seeing a friends nails who goes to the same person each time I decided to give it one last shot. I booked with Susan ( maybe Suzanne not sure ) She is by appointment which works well with me. I walked in and was immediately seated at her station. She took the time to ask how I wanted my nails which is major for me because I'm Not the typical typical coffin or square shape. This is colored acrylic on my nails.She listened without trying to talk me into something else. She delivered and I'll Definitely be booking with her again! The wine is always a plus. Be prepared to have your temp taken upon arrival. read more

Excellent service and precautions taken opening post Covid 19. Very impressed with all the steps taken to ensure safety. Strict appointment only, Checked people's temperature upon entry, sitting 12ft+ away, and of course plenty of mask and sanitizer. My nail powder dip was perfect!! read more
My friend girl treated me to the deluxe pedicure for my birthday. It was wonderful! I have been to the Nail Bar for gel manicures but this was my 1st deluxe pedicure which included exfoliating, mask, and leg & foot massage. They have several scent options-- I went with the lavender. I needed to relax. I loved the warm towels wrapped around my legs and feet. I had the massage chair going while I sipped on an adult beverages. I felt like I had new feet.....smooth. I was very happy with the customer service. The manager is very friendly. I called for an appointment but the Nail Bar welcomes walk ins. The hardest part about this visit was deciding which color I would use. If you need some girlfriend time or just a little pampering go to the Nail Bar and get the deluxe pedicure. read more

Ok there's a lot to unpack here. The two stars on this review are only for the nail tech who did my pedicure and gel manicure (her name is Chi she does and amazing job). A week ago I went here for a gel manicure with chi, all was well until a few days later both of my thumbs were without the polish that supposedly lasts 2 weeks. When I went in two days ago I went to get those two nails fixed and a pedicure (by chi of course) and all was well yet again until I was done and it was time to pay. They said I owed them $62 for just a damn pedicure. When I asked the front desk guy to break it down for me he said "deluxe pedicure is $42, then plus $15 for gel, and $5 for French tip." I've been going to this nail salons for 5 years!! I've never paid such an amount for a pedicure. Gel was always $5 more and I never knew they charged extra for French tip until a month ago but I was fine with that. +$15 for gel on a pedicure is way more than the up charge on a gel manicure. Maybe they only charged me so much extra because I complained but either way, the service doesn't justify the prices. %85 of the staff are egregiously bad at doing nails while about 5 of the employees actually know what they're doing. If you want your nails done here, ask for Trish, Chi, or Bumblebee, these are the only 3 I've had that haven't disappointed. Though they're good, expect to pay more than what the prices are listed. One more thing I'd like to add, there's a little bit of racism in this nail salon. I've noticed slowly over the years they get less and less of black/poc customers. The reason being, they don't take their time with us anymore. They don't offer us wine or ask if we'd like something to drink, they don't try to have conversation with us and tend to serve the white customers first even though we may have arrived well before them. I'm only mentioning this because it may be a dealbreaker for some future or already loyal customers. read more

If you want to relax and forget about the kids and the hubby nail bar is the place. My girlfriend invited me and I do not regret the invite. It's one of thee best experiences ive had in Indy thus far. They do great work and the atmosphere is one of a kind. read more

Just not overly impressed with my pedicure here. It looked like something I could have done myself. Also the service today upon arrival was subpar. The ink pen to sign in with had some kind of sticky stuff on it and the person who greeted me was not very friendly. There are too many options for this service to not be excellent. After two visits here and not being impressed, I'm not likely to return or recommend. read more

How much would a dip powder fill in be and is cash accepted for payment?
Cash is accepted but I'm not sure about a fill. I get it taken off and put back on. Lasts about 4 weeks for me and it's around $40
