Can we all agree that finding our favorite nail salon can feel like an impossible task (first world problems sure) but it's hard!!! You'll like a place for a few months and then for some reason the service and results just aren't the same. So onto the next. Well everyone... My search has ended! I can't say enough good things about the folks at L'amour. They are kind, funny, and incredibly talented. I've gone in for manis & pedis. And you can tell that the people that come in genuinely enjoy being there staff and customers alike. This last time I was in there I had pulled a photo off of Pinterest (y'all know when a nail tech hears that I'm sure they cringe) I wanted French mani - meets Halloween - with a bloody twist. I tried L'Amour nails today for the first time and I unfortunately regret going there. I'm already at another nail salon within two hours getting them fixed. I called as a last minute appointment for a full set and they said they could take me in 30 minutes. I came in, everyone was so kind! When starting the full set, the gentleman put the entire tip on my nail, added acrylic and then cut them after. This is when I knew things weren't going to turn out as expected. He kept asking about the shape, and I told him it looked okay- he was very kind regarding what I wanted. I can only ask for them to be narrow and straight so many times Overall, these are the thickest nail I've ever gotten. Theres no arch to them, as there should be when you're getting nails done. Despite him checking, both middle fingers are different shapes and sizes. Unfortunately this is $60 and over an hour I should've spent at another nail salon. read more

WHAT COULD IMPROVE? Maybe the owners could learn some manners and learn to be gracious. I wish I could give them NO stars. The owners and strange wife of one of the owners (Helen) called me weird on my last visit. Which was so rude. She doesn't understand why I like dogs and have rescued dogs. And she said I was weird?! So strange and I was called cuckoo and whackadoodle because I guess I overtip?! If I didn't have it, I promise you I wouldn't do it. Before I discovered this vanilla box place, I was used to paying $125 - $150 for a mani/ pedi, so when I went here, I was shocked to find a mani/ pedi was $80, I would tip $20 and sometimes if it was a holiday or they fit me in, I'd give an extra $10. I'm a happy person and I have a good life, so I'm usually in a good mood, but I'm also not stupid. So the last time when I was leaving I overheard the Three Stooges Frankie, Johnny and Billy laughing when I was leaving and they referred to me as Whackadoodle and Cuckoo "She Cuckoo" was one of the comments from Frankie, How rude, BIGOTED and disrespectful of you! I felt like the massage and nail shaping/painting was really good, and the prices were fair. But, I'm not sure if the files and tools are cleaned appropriately. I did not see them come out of sanitizer bags, and the files looked used. I have only been in once and I may still give it another shot. Hopefully, I was mistaken and that won't be an issue when I return. read more

so disappointed in my recent visit. this was my spot all through out high school and even used them for my wedding. I moved like 40 min away so haven't been. raved to my friend to use them for her wedding. we went friday at 11am - MADE APPOINTMENTS for the bride, her mom and I.. mom went first while the bride waited until like 15 after - started her .. mom was finished and as I still sat there the guy had the nerve to ask if we were in a hurry - uh no but we all came together and would like to leave together. I rarely get my nails done because I DREAD the whole process. I don't think I have ever gotten my nails done to where I was obsessed with them. L'amour Nails changed my perspective. The atmosphere is cheery and social and lots of moms bring their kiddos. Plenty of men come in too which is nice to see. It is very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. The smell of nail products is pretty apparent but I can't really expect much else. My nail tech was fantastic. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he showed he his suggestions for it and we went on. He continually paused and checked in with me to make sure I was enjoying the process and liked what he was doing. Super detail oriented and I am just super happy. They are of great quality!! I am never pressured to get the powder dip as they have told me, my nails are strong and if your gel lasts 2-3 weeks just stick with that. I appreciate their honesty. Great gel manicure. I've been here several times and have always loved the results. I usually call ahead since it can be busy. The staff are all kind and professional. My friend had a set put on and I had gel polish. We both loved our nails. I've been to a few different nail salons in the area, and this is by far my favorite. We only had to wait a few minutes. Sign in as soon as you walk in. Say hi, then pick your colors from the box of options. They always do 2 coats. Mine has always lasted till it's grown out enough that I have to take the polish off. My usual place was too busy so I chose to take my chances down the street from my house. They were fantastic!! Very clean and friendly even when there were 6 people after close getting finished up. They were also less expensive and only 1/4 mile from my house instead of 15 miles. I'm gonna save gas and time as I have found a new nail place. Give these guys your business!! read more

I was hoping for a better experience here. They have a good selection of colors & services, however, some of the staff was very rude and had bad communication as to what service pricing was/ what they were giving you. I was under the impression that the two pedicures I was receiving was only to be 60. However, they up-charged for gel so much I ended paying over 120... I even cancelled my manicure on the spot due to extremely long timing and poor service. What a bummer. read more

My first time going was not please at all. The man doing my nails watched doctor Phil almost the whole time he was working on me and would turn back every once in a while. I asked for square and he gave me an awful shape and to top it all off I paid for a gel manicure and most already are peeling off. I've been going here for about 3 years now and trust nobody else to do my nails. All of the outcomes of my nails are amazing. The service is amazing and they're very friendly. They also accept walk-ins!! Sometimes you might have to wait there for 30 minutes, but normally they will get to you in a timely fashion. Barely greeted me when I walked in the door. Said "write down name". Gentleman came up and asked what I needed, which was a fill. But I was also wanting something more than just polish. This is the best place for gel manicures. If you are worried about going into a nail salon because of COVID-19 no need to worry they have you covered...literally. They check your temperature upon entering. You are surrounded by plexi glass even when getting a pedicure. They have very friendly staff and always remember your name! read more

First time to come to this business. There were 6 employees when I was there. Did not have to wait very long to get in, which was nice. They were all friendly, but I found it VERY RUDE that the employees were only talking among themselves in a different language. This was constant. My first time here. The man doing my pedicure was watching TV the entire time and barely paying attention to what he was doing. My toenails ended up uneven and some even jagged. The polish ended up all around my nails. I immediately had to fix them when I got home. I have no idea why this place has such good ratings. read more

Things have changed since my last review.....even with an appointment had to wait a long time. Also, they have become very rude and do a lot of talking and giggling while you sit there. We had an appointment on a Thursday afternoon at 2:30. Finally walked out at 3 pm when we still hadn't been helped. I have gone before and had good service but apparently appointments aren't honored. They do really great work. And the brother and sister who run it are great. Unfortunately waiting time doesn't seem to matter if you have an appointment or not. And one of the manicurist has a son who has started 'helping out' there who is very rude. He is young and has a terrible attitude. He is very loud and demanding of attention. Some people seem to think he is 'cute' but after a long day at work the last thing I need is a kid who is mouthy making jokes at other peoples expense. But on days he isn't there it is a great place.
