I was able to make an appointment with Nina within the hour! The salon is in a shopping strip that also houses my favorite Indian restaurant. In the future, I might make a day of lunch and a mani/pedi! There's also a Mexican restaurant in the strip that I've been wanting to try that gets great reviews on Yelp. When I walked into the salon, I was pleased with how clean and bright everything was. It's a smaller nail salon than I usually go to, and that suited my desire for a relaxing experience very well. The salon was also not very busy at 11 AM on a Saturday morning. There was only one other customer there, having a manicure. The shop may be noisier and busier on other days or at other times, but I was happy to have a quieter experience than I'm used to for my treatments. Nina greeted me warmly, and my services began right away. Nina worked on my nails, and Ven (I'm not sure of the spelling of his name) did my pedicure. I ended up choosing a pedicure with hot stones, and the scrub, mask, and hot stone massage were amazing. Ven did a wonderful job! Nina was friendly, funny, and kind. She was singing along at times with Music Travel Love (on YouTube), which was playing on the large television in front of the row of very comfy pedicure chairs. I'd never watched Music Travel Love before, and I'm so happy to know about it now! The beautiful, relaxing music and the cinematography added to my enjoyment of the treatments. Ven was not as talkative as Nina, but he was equally friendly and smiled a lot. He checked in with me more than once to make sure I was comfortable. Nina and Ven seem to be lovely, kind people with quite a talent for producing beautiful mani and pedi results! They both did very high-quality work, and I love the results of my manicure and pedicure! There was one small issue with my pedicure. I had requested regular polish rather than gel because I'm planning to start doing my own pedicures at home and wanted polish I could easily remove when the time came. However, I was so relaxed when the UV light came out for my pedicure polish that I didn't even realize what was happening! Once we both noticed the misunderstanding, Nina told Ven that I had requested regular polish. Since I had come in with gel polish on my toes anyway, I told them it was fine to continue. Nina and Ven were both apologetic about the mix-up. As it turned out, I was very happy with the results! After many years of having gel-polish pedicures (off and on), I can say that this one is among the best I've ever had! Overall, I had a wonderful, relaxing experience at this salon, with reasonably priced, high-quality treatments. It really showed that Nina and Ven cared about me having a positive experience! I love how I can request a design and they will make it just like the inspo picture if not better. They have your typical prices here but every time I leave here I leave relaxed. The environment is very calm and they have music playing. They have a rewards program and they will sometimes email you discount coupons. I haven't walked out of their establishment disappointed since I have been coming here.

Today, however,was the straw that broke the camels back. The quality of today's experience was so substandard it was almost insulting, NO IT WAS INSULTING. I'm quite certainly not returning! I had him remove the gel disaster but couldn't stay as I had to pick up my dog from the groomers. I left there with my cuticles looking as if I needed a pedicure and bare nailed. This is the good part, they actually CHARGED me for a "pedicure" which I paid, they can consider it a parting gift as I'm done with paying good money for bad service. This makes it disappointing to leave a review under these circumstances. During a recent eyebrow service completed by the female owner, Vee, I communicated that I wanted my eyebrows thinner. She proceeded using a device, and within 24 hours I developed welts underneath and around my eyebrows, followed by minor pain and visible bruising. I will be attaching photos for reference. I initially attempted to address this concern by phone, but Vee advised she could not hear me. I then visited the salon in person to show the bruising and seek a resolution. I spoke with her boyfriend, who is also an owner, and he called for her to come speak with me. As they spoke in their native language, Vee avoided all contact with me and did not acknowledge my presence, nor did she inquire as to why I was there or address the visible bruising at all. I take confrontation seriously and approach it with the intent to resolve issues respectfully. Because of this encounter, I strongly disagree with the attitude displayed by Vee and the owners' inability to acknowledge or address the injury left behind. For this reason, I will no longer be a customer at this establishment. The quality of work itself has generally been good; however, future customers should be aware that if concerns arise, there may be issues with accountability and customer service, which does not appear to be a priority.

There's a reason this salon is so highly recommended, so let me add my experience to the 5 star…read morecrowd. 1. I reached out early in the morning to see if they could accommodate me on a very busy Friday after work due to a change in my schedule. They were able to fit me in - but I know that wasn't easy because it is a very busy salon. 2. I brought in a PRESS ON NAIL to show them the look, the color, and the shape I wanted . We had a laugh comparing the colors until we mutually agreed on a close matching shade I liked. Christine was very diligent explaining it would be a little darker that the press on. At that point, I wanted my toes to match. Although she didn't have time to do a full pedicure, she very graciously offered to change my toenail polish, which I gladly paid for! Even with a polish change, she was so conscientious in trimming and shaping my nails. 3. Dip powder with new tips. Let me start with this: I haven't had great experiences lately. Without going into all the details let's just say my former salon was failing. Something changed after my preferred manicurist left. I was getting thick, blobby, wavy nails, chrome finish dimpling and denting, a cut foot, and ripped cuticles. Here is where Christine absolutely knocked it out of the park. Communicating with me the entire time, at every step, making sure everything was exactly what I wanted and asked for. Even with adding new tips she was able to keep them slimmer profile and that takes EXTRA care. She was so kind and caring that I am absolutely thrilled. Now they're going to be stuck with me.. Thank you for excellent work and outstanding customer service!
