Me and my sister went in to get gel X removal and acrylic removal. The service itself was fine, but when we went to go check out, they charged us double the price and would not lower the price to what it said on the website. I checked the website price before we went in and it said $11 for gel X or acrylic removal. They charged us $21 each for this removal and said that the website is wrong. I found this place by random and am happy with every manicure I've received. However, they recently double charged my CC 5 days apart and after bringing it to their attention, It's been 8 days and they keep saying give them more time. Disappointed overall. I got a fill done and then it looked okay in the end, but my experience was not great. The guy kept yelling at me to relax the whole the time even though I was doing nothing differently than what I normally do at nail salons. He was very aggressive and stressed me out even more so that didn't really help him or me. Cut my cuticle bed in one place and my nails were not the same length. I live in Chicago & regularly maintain my nails at home, as I work in restaurants. My mom comes to this salon brought me in. Mary did my nails and it was definitely one of the greatest nail experiences I have had. She was so kind and gentle and took great care of me! I was so pleased with the over all experience and love the color. Next time I'm home for a visit I will certainly be going back and requesting her. My only "complaint" would be that the pedicure books do not show the proper price so we ended up paying quite a bit more than expected, but we didn't make a fuss. Good service is worth the price!! My mom and I have gone to this nail salon 3 times. The first time was great. The next time we came in we made an appointment and got there on time and waited an hour to get them done, they let walk ins go ahead of us, and had multiple different people working on our nails. I AM LITERALLY IN SHOCK! *BEWARE* I made an appointment here weeks ago to pamper myself for my 45th birthday and right before my birthday trip! A girl wanted to look her best. I never treat myself so this was very important to me and I'm crushed. My appointment was with Vera, the owner, so I thought I was in good hands. My appointment was at 6:00 p.m. I arrived on time to meet her and she had someone in her chair who was no where near to being done. First red flag. She told me 15 more minutes but it was actually 30 minutes. There was twice as many waiting customers as there was nail techs. People kept piling in with 15 min apart appointments for HER!? I asked if I could start my pedicure but there a wait and she said she only did manicures. She'd "find someone to do my pedicure". A lady spoke up she had been waiting since 5:00 p.m. They started her at 6:45 p.m. I would of left but I expressed I was catching a flight in less than 48 hours. When she finally started I suggested a basic manicure since we were on a time crunch. She strongly suggested I get a dip for the first time so I had no idea what to expect. Firstly, they should have customers wash hands prior to dipping in community powder. I kept asking when she'd get my cuticles and she said at the end. My nails were looking pretty bad but she kept saying trust the process. She was so busy doing my service and greeting new customers every 2 minutes there was absolutely NO customer service, personal care or thought put into my service. 15 min later she rushed me to the pedicure bowl and I said what about my nails. She said she could paint over them. EXCUSE ME? Then she suggested gel ON TOP of dip powder. This sounded heinous. I politely told her this was a horrible service and could she please do it over or get someone else to do it. She said if I didn't like her work I could LEAVE!! Wow!!! I was crushed. At that point I asked her to take it off before I left. She walked away and sent someone else. I was basically kicked out for this service!!! Please BUYER BE AWARE!!! Don't go! Went in asked for a white French tip with pink base. Lady said no problem. I walked out because I had changed my mind because I want going to pay $_70 plus tip for French tips. But as I'm walking out she quickly comes out to get me so I said ok just do it. A man starts on my nails no problem there he was nice I guess. I then wash my hands I'm then asked to sit at another station. This time it was a lady. She was rude from the beginning. I showed her a picture of what I wanted 2 times she said ok. But when she starts to paint on the white tips it very sloppy. I just brush it off because I figured she was going to clean them up at the end. I then tell her again that she is a doing the lines very sloppy. She then on 3 different occasions tells me to shut up!!! I brushed it off because I didn't want to act a fool in there establishment because it's your word against there's and still didn't get an attitude after being disrespected I then tell her that she is doing a very sloppy job ..she wasnt doing my nails neat and clean like the picture showed.If I'm correct I think they usually use a stencil to paint on the white but she didn't use one.She then cut the tips off. I asked her to just redo them. Anyhow I will not be going back there any time soon which sucks because I liked the place because it's convinent being right there next to Walmart. The polish was sloppy and I got the gel nails, but it started chipping the next day. I might stop by for a pedicure (I don't mind my toes not looking perfect), but I'll paint my own nails or find a new place. read more

I have been seeing David at Lilly Nails for almost a decade. This is hands down my favorite place to get my nails done. I recommend making an appointment because they can get pretty busy, especially once you find a technician you want to specifically book with. It's always very clean here, the staff is kind and make your experience fun, and the prices are spot on. I've gone to many, many nail places in my life and honestly, they hold up better here than anywhere I've ever been. They take the time to get your nails perfect yet you're not there for an unreasonable amount of time. They use a check-in system on the iPad, which is convenient. When you register your phone number, you sometimes win prizes after checking in. Last visit, I won a free bottle of lotion that smelled amazing. As far as the location, it's near Moe's. The parking lot can get pretty packed with all the shops but I always find a spot. read more

Don't go here if you get dip nails. They started chipping within the first week. I noticed the dip wasn't covering my whole nail and when i went back in to get the chipped one fixed they told me it should be okay in which it wasn't. at least 3 of my nails had lifted from the dip due to it not covering the whole nail and then chipped within the first week... On top of that with the nail i did get fixed she asked me if i wanted to try the builder gel on that nail in which i was like ok i guess. mid painting it she told me that if the color difference bothers me she could paint gel over my nails that already have dip powder on them so it matches. i would've rather she just do dip and tell me before she had already started that there would be a color difference. I also got my toes done and told them i just wanted regular polish and no pedicure The lady that did them acted as if she didn't know what i meant and ended up giving me a whole pedicure. i don't like my feet being touched like that which is why i prefer to just get them painted and be done. I don't recall the name of the tech, but she didn't seem to know what she was doing. I asked for almond shape, and she told me they would break too easily so she gave me oval shape instead...the opposite of what I asked for. She left glue all over my fingers from the tips she put on. This isn't my usual salon but wanted to get my nails done in between an appointment at my usual salon. I wasn't planning on changing but after going here I definitely won't! I went to my regular salon yesterday and my nail tech couldn't believe how awful of a job she did. Would not recommend this place. read more

This was my first time trying this nail salon and although I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop I was disappointed with the quality of my pedicure. But I will start with Pros. I was able to easily schedule my appointment online which I loved. The staff was very welcoming and the shop was clean. They use tub liners in their pedicure chairs for an added touch of hygiene. They also have a princess chair for little ones to get their pedis. Now for the Cons: I did overhear quite a few ladies try to upsell customers for gel polish but they were not overly pushy like other salons that I have seen. I chose the spa pedicure which is my typical choice. I was disappointed that there was minimal leg rubbing (probably the smallest amount of time at any nail shop). The employee also used a loofa on the bottom of my feet for about three seconds on each foot. As I mentioned before, I usually get this type of pedicure but I have never had such quick treatment. I was really surprised. The shop has better reviews than other shops in our area so I may give them another try and just choose a different technician. read more

After being referred by my sister, I decided to make the 50 min drive. Vera did a really great job, so I decided to come back and schedule with her. Unfortunately, on my second visit my experience wasn't as good. I didn't end up getting Vera, even though I scheduled with her and I was there much longer than I had planned. Vera didn't have anything during the time I needed on Sunday so I scheduled something with her that Monday during my lunch time. I was so disappointed I didn't get her, especially after driving 50 mins. My nails don't look nearly as good as they did when I had her. I'm not sure I'll be back, as it's 50 mins from me and there's no guarantee who I will get. read more

I ordered a service for $45 I made it clear that I wanted that one specifically, I don't mind paying more if they told me in advance but when I was about to pay they told me the service was $57 +$10 for French, they told me their prices changed and that price on the menu was not updated, which again I was not told, I ended up paying $135 for the service, manicure and pedicure, the woman at the front desk was rude and said in front of all the other customers that I can either pay for that, have them removed and replace with the ones I specifically asked for, I told her to remove them because she is not going to talk to me in any way if I was not being rude or mean to her, I ask where to seat to have them removed, and I felt bad for the lady who did my nails so I choose to pay for that service and never go back, bad management for sure, at least she could've offer something better or make a better excuse than "the prices changed and we have not update the menu". I was reassigned to another person who was not trained to do nails and made a cut into my cuticle. Owner had nothing to say but that they had many appointments...sounds like an overbooking issue.
