I had to get my builder gel set redone less than 24 hours after coming here. The nail tech applied the gel too thick and I didn't realize until I got home that I had uncured gel underneath the top layer. This resulted in the top coat peeling back and exposing the uncured gel. 12 hours after I got them done, I had to remove 6 of the nail's polish myself, since it was still wet. They used a drill to remove my previous builder gel set and overdid it. This weakened my nails and led to 2 nails breaking. The place was not clean. They reused a towel from the person before me, the nail buffer had already been used, the bowl they had my soak my hands in was stained and dirty. This was $20 less than my normal place, but I would never come back here. read more

I've been getting my fingernails done with David for over 10 years, which began back when he and his wife owned Lilly Nails in Fishers. I've never had to worry about my nails looking less than stellar and cleanliness is always a top priority. The attention to detail is great and the variety of colors to choose from is enormous. You get points for your services that are redeemable for money off, which you'll receive a text about if you sign up. I highly recommend always making an appointment (which you can do on their website - preferred since it doesn't interrupt appointments - or by calling in). You check in on an iPad upon arrival. They are very good about getting you in on time so I typically arrive a few minutes early to choose my color(s). For an acrylic gel fill, if I'm not getting a special design, I am in and out in 45 minutes, without feeling rushed, which I really appreciate. I've had a couple pedicures here. They were pretty good but it varies by who does them. If you have any issue with an ingrown nail, they are trained on correcting it and will ensure you aren't in too much pain as it is corrected. I love this and would much rather pay for a pedicure than visit a podiatrist. Every once in a while you'll see an extra charge for around $5, such as for length (when nails are pretty long), doing multiple colors (I did one color per nail once), special shape (such as almond or coffin), or for extra scrubbing of dry skin off of your feet. I'd ask ahead of time what to expect the price to be in total if you don't want any surprises. Also, pay with cash if you can. Tips are cash only and there is a new 3% credit card processing fee. Paying cash also gets you stamps on a card, redeemable for money off. read more

Overall my experience was lackluster. My nails turned out fine (although thick and not super even) but I'm glad I didn't have time to get a pedicure too. I asked for a dip manicure. The nail tech told me to pick a color and not even 15 seconds later (I hadn't even picked up the first set of colors to look at), he grabbed the basket and told me I could do it while he got started. Mmmmm ok. Then I had to try and dig through an unorganized basket, with one hand. He asked me if I wanted my cuticles cut down, which I thought was weird because that's literally part of prepping the nail, so I told him yes. He didn't use a cuticle cutter at all. Then he rushed through the process (it took less than 30 minutes from exiting my car to getting back in my car) and was throwing my fingers out of his way as he finished. My nails aren't anything to write home about and have some minor flaws, but I was surprised when I paid $62. Tip can not be put on a card but they offer an ATM. I asked for my receipt and decided not to spend additional money using their ATM for a tip when I saw that I was charged $8 for my cuticles to be "cut down" and they were actually only slightly pushed down. It's definitely the place to go if you are in a rush and want mediocre nails. I will not go back because I use that time and time to relax. read more

This was my first mani/Pedi in Indiana. I love being a new Hoosier and exploring all of the things. So much cooler than being a Floridian, a quick Michigander and then tah dah! Here we are! So Tiffany did my pedicure and it was luxurious. She did a great job! My manicure was a different story. Maybe it's because I can't have color or gel on my nails, but $25 for a basic manicure that took 6 minutes was a bit much. I'll be doing my own from now on. Total was $80. Here's where the stars are missing. I'm not sure if it's the owner who is having these professionals change their names to appease the customers but that seems preditory to me. Like let them use their own names. The names that are on their licenses to practice. They earned their beauty certifications and we can adapt and call them their given names if they so choose. I just remember having one name presented on the license on their station and then they say their name is something else. It struck me as odd. Maybe it's nothing. Another thing is you can't tip on a card so I was forced to go to the ATM for tips. Unfortunately I won't be back because of that because I couldn't get denominations of $10s and I'm not going to get cash every time I need to get my nails done. That isn't happening. My biggest issue is their pricing. I personally believe they overcharge for the service and experience they provide. Every time I have been there I feel rushed, I feel in the way, and I feel like a number to get done rather than a guest looking for a relaxing experience. Cherry on top they do have a rewards card, but you can only use it if you pay cash for your services.
