I LOVED zen nails back in the day so decided to go back to them even though it's 20+ minutes away from me once I decided to start recommitting to nails again. it's been a frustrating process thus far. I'd like to preface this with *all employees are super friendly!!!* but this is not a place I will be returning to ever again. I scheduled the following: - Saturday 2/6/26 - full tap gel x set on at 1:30 with Kate. - Friday 2/20 - replacement right thumb with Alex (free of charge!) - Wednesday 2/26 - further replacement for left pointer nail. I decided to say to heck with it and just get everything redone. $60+ later, I get home Wednesday evening and noticed my left thumb was already cracked. -Saturday 2/28 - went back at 6:15pm to repair( they close at 7 according to online and their door signs) doors were locked. - Saturday 3/7 - (they're closed sundays and I work during the week), I called to get my thumb nail repaired from my 2/26 visit. I wanted to call first to make sure someone would be available and avoid last weeks' situation. No answer. Called 3x periodically. Keep in mind, I am not doing any hard labor etc. the tap gel x is supposed to last several weeks so it's frustrating that I've had to go back 4x in a single month with the amount of $ spent. Thinking it was a fluke, I wanted to give them another shot but I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

This was my very first time visiting a nail salon in the U.S., and I'm honestly so impressed! I had my manicure done by Alex, and he did an amazing job. The manicure was very clean and precise, and the nail polish application was absolutely perfect. You can really tell he pays attention to every detail. The salon itself was very clean and comfortable, and I truly enjoyed my time there. It felt relaxing and professional at the same time. I'm very happy with the result and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! read more

I used to come here all the time but then the quality and customer service took a dip. I paid for nails and was always charged extra for the length even thought it wasn't crazy long. I came back once because my nail was so bumpy. The last time I came here I paid $90, $75 plus tip. I was happy with my nails but they started chipping and peeling right away. Last time I complained and returned, it was obvious people were talking about me in another language, the vibes are always super weird now. I don't feel like having to come back to make something right every time is unfair to me and it puts me in an uncomfortable situation because the nail techs can be a little rude in these cases. I may not speak the language but body language says a lot. I have not returned and never plan to do so. The gel layer started to peel like this on all nails, yes I pulled it up but that's how all the edges were lifting, the nail tech filed the nail which means the gel polish was not covering the ends. Within a week this whole set was trash and I took them off before two weeks were up. read more

I went in with an appointment to get a pedicure. The man who did my pedicure was nice and friendly. I enjoyed that aspect. So I decided to get a manicure as well. The man who did my manicure was not very friendly at all and did not do a good job. My nails were wrinkly before I left the salon. I didn't realize someone else would be doing my manicure otherwise I probably would have skipped the manicure all together. All in all I don't think I will return or recommend this place unfortunately. read more

Would definitely go back. Had a great experience. It was really affordable and my nails looked and felt great. Side note: i am writing this review two weeks later. My nails are still looking great and I actually almost sliced the tip of my pinky off chopping an onion- the gel polish didn't even chip. So 100% worth a trip read more

I needed a quick manicure for an upcoming wedding and booked with Zen Nails after seeing the positive Yelp reviews. I messaged them on Yelp to request an appointment and didn't hear back, so I ended up calling to make an appointment. They got me in within a few days. The entrance from the parking lot is technically the back entrance, so you have to weave your way to the front of the store, which is a bit confusing. The front desk staffer told me to pick a nail color from the wall and wait for someone to take me for my appointment. The express manicure got the job done (nail cut/shaping and polish) and for $18, it's a steal. You pay for the manicure before they paint your nails so you don't fumble with your purse and wallet with wet nails - smart! At the end, you sit at a communal table with the UV lights to dry your nails. I wish there was a towel or something under my hands. It seemed a bit unsanitary to place my hands on a table that so many other people had touched. I also felt like overall the salon could've been slightly cleaner. If I'm in need of a quick mani, I'll return to Zen for the express service, but otherwise, I'll stick with my regular nail gal for manis/pedis. read more

They were very nice and accommodating. This was the best experience I've had at a nail salon.

My mom started going here and at the time I haven't been getting my nails done but when I finally decided to get mine done I choose to go to Zen Nails and asked for Alice ( my mom's favorite) I'm obsessed... We had a nice experience at Zen Nails and Spa. We were greeted with a warm welcome from the girls at the reception desk. Might I add, they made the reservation and checkout process seamless and I could not be more grateful. My mail technician was a bit slow but did a nice job on a pedicure and gel manicure. read more

Came here before my wedding for manicures and pedicures with my bridal party. We made appointments which were definitely needed for a bigger group. We all had great staff. Eric was my nail technician and did amazing! Over 2 weeks later and my dip still looks good and no chips. I would say the gel pedicure lasted much shorter than normal polish does. Eric recommenced the up charge to gel since I was going to the beach but all my gel peeled off in less than 2 weeks. I've definitely had normal polish last almost 2 months so I wouldn't do gel on my toes again. Lots of color options for gel & dips. Higher priced than other local nail salons but you did get wine / mimosas offered during your time there so that was a fun pampering perk! read more

On the first try, I found my nail salon thanks to these Yelp reviews! I made an appointment for a pedicure and they were able to fit me in on a last minute Saturday. My nail tech was Li and wow! That was the best pedicure I have had in a long time. I usually don't like getting my cuticles done, but he was very gentle and it didn't hurt at all. I got a signature pedicure with regular nail polish and it came out great! I had the most relaxing time and really loved the massage chairs. I'll definitely become a regular there! Not to mention, all the staff is friendly. read more

They're still as amazing as ever! It's been a year since I last visited and they had SO many new colors available in gel and dip. Their team is so friendly -- one of the manicurists even remembered my name, even after all this time. My nails look perfect and I find that they always last a long time too. I booked appointment by messaging them on the Yelp app and they were quick to respond. When I got there, Taylor Swift was playing on the speakers, Schitt's Creek (with subtitles) was playing on the TVs, and I was fully relaxed. Always a fun and enjoyable visit! read more

I was in town and as it's getting warmer, I realized I desperately needed a pedi. I called this place and they got me in 15 min later. Everyone was wearing masks and they put up an extra barrier as well. They did a thorough massage which was nice. My nails turned out really nice. The chairs were a little closer than I would have preferred (in terms of how close I was to someone else) but that could also be because they squeezed me in last minute. Also, my calluses were not completely off - still a bit rough so I'd probably give 4.5 stars. But overall a solid place for a pedi! read more

I came here for a long overdue pedi. Aren't they always that way? There is plenty of parking in the back and an entrance near the parking lot. Once you walk in you will need to go around the corner to the front check in area. It was a little confusing when I got there. The front desk has a very organized check in process with the assigned staff waiting to provide service. Once I checked in, signed a covid waiver and had my temperature check they let me pick out a color from the wall. Once I sat down they put up the plastic barrier for additional protection which made me feel safe. I decided on the Classic pedicure which is their cheapest/standard option but still felt luxurious. The man took his time trimming and cleaning up my feet before massaging my legs and rubbing them hot stones. It felt like I was at a fancy spa and I was in heaven. The nail polish turned out beautifully and I can't wait to go back! read more

Call me a lush but I'll be returning here just for the bottomless mimosas! What a fun experience, lol. A friend told me about this place, so I decided to visit for a pedi and try out the dip powder nails (I usually get gel nails at my usual salon). The hot stone massage was a nice touch, and they kept the mimosas coming. My nails turned out great also! I'll be coming here again with a friend or my mom. read more

Separating the work from the attitude here: excellent nail design and stayed forever so I was happy with my ripped manicure. Not happy with my regular polish toes. They smudged after me waiting for 35 mins to dry. There should be some sort of spray to put on them like other salons so they dry/harden faster. Might need to work on manners a bit. I made an appointment so my nails would look nice on my wedding day which was as the next day and the gal said I made the wrong appointment and that they didn't know if they could get me in for the dipped manicure because I just asked for that when apparently there is some way to book ombré. I have no idea. I'm not a nail person. I felt like I had to beg for them to do them which was off putting. read more

Great service. Nice people. Right price. Definitely my go to for nails when in Carmel.

Very happy with eyebrow wax from Sandy (Nah) at Zen. First time at Zen nails. The place is clean, welcoming, and no wait. I called ahead. (Basically, I was a walk-in.) I would definitely come back and book ahead with Nah. She was sweet, patient and, fun. She did exactly what I asked for re: eyebrows. I will get nails next time. read more

This nail spa is a bit of a drive for me, but worth every splash of gas as their services are excellent! Every nail tech I've seen has an incredible attention to detail and patience. On one visit, I had a big toenail that had split through the nail bed, and using sterile instruments, they were able to recreate my wish of a normal looking, well polished toe. Wow! This is by far the best nail salon in the Carmel area. I have searched for a regular salon for over a year and I believe I found it. I came in (with an appointment) for a full-set with regular nail polish and was very impressed with both the service and the nails themselves. Sandy Tran was my technician; she was very gentle and engaging. I showed her a referende photo and she was very attentive to details while working. I really appreciate that she asked me if the length and colour were okay before proceeding on to the other nails. The acrylic nails themselves are even and thin (!!!!). The staff was overall very kind and lively (I came in at 9:15AM). It was clean and light. I would definitely recommend this salon! read more

Nothing negative here, OMG keep up the good work. Among the wonderful thing we experienced: - Colts game playing on a large screen TV in front of the pedicure chairs. - Comfy pedicure chairs and flawless pedicures. - Best foot massage I've had in a long time. - Complimentary mimosas! - 15 minute shoulder massage, done very well. - Painless and reasonably priced waxing. - Manicure with regular (non-gel) polish that lasted much longer than other manicures I've had. read more

Honestly probably the best around (far tho) the area Indy. Great service and decent prices. My nail tech took the time to make sure all of my nails were the same length and shape! Other salons (cough cough zen downtown) charge extra for almond shape and don't even make sure the nails are perfect! My only gripe is the nail tech pulled an unsterilized pair of clippers to cut my hang nail. I asked him to at least spray alcohol on it. I've had that experience already 3 times at different salons around here and it's unsanitary-- maybe an Indy thing?? Otherwise my nails came out perfect. read more

Now when I tell you that I've been to almost every single nail salon in Hamilton County over the last eight years, I'm not exaggerating. This salon by far is the best. My nails have a natural curve to them, and it's imperative to me that the acrylic sit straight. When I first started coming to the salon I would only go to Megan, then it was her or Erik (Eric?). Now, I trust every single technician in that salon as they are always so friendly and welcoming and their work is beyond excellent. The owners always do their very best in squeezing me in last minute, and the overall customer service is 10/10. The salon is clean & organized. I recommend this salon to everyone. It's one you will definitely find yourself revisiting time & time again! Their pricing is average, and quite honestly I think their work is worth more than they charge. read more
