This is by far the nicest salon I have ever been to. Price of a jelly pedicure + gel polish was $100 which is pretty average given the pedicure I chose and the area. The customer service was absolutely top tier. The technician that performed my pedicure took her time and did not rush, something I think a lot of salons could work on. They also used ALL of the products in the designated pouches of the jelly/lotion/oils for our pedicures. I feel like a lot of times salons will use half and save the rest to use on another client to cut costs but they did not do that here. I did make an appointment and in busy season, I'm sure you'd need one even though today we didn't. I plan on coming back for my pedicures bc it was truly the best I've ever had. The first time I went in April, was such a great experience! I came with friends and we had Q and another person working on our nails. My interaction with Q was so positive and my nails looked so good that I scheduled to go back to treat myself for my birthday. Unfortunately, this second appointment was not as great as the first. I scheduled an appointment with Q, but when I got there I didn't see her. I was ushered in by a woman, who I think was the owner, and told to sit at a table behind her while she was working on someone else's nails. About 5 or 10 minutes into my appointment she told someone else that some girls were sick and couldn't come in, so I assume this is why I didn't see Q as expected. However, this was not communicated directly to me even though it was requested online. My appointment felt rushed, as she had additional clients coming in and worked quickly through my nails. I left with a couple of fingers bleeding at the cuticle and my nails painted unevenly. Additionally, I was charged more than expected, even though I requested a specific service online. After this whole experience, I emailed the company the day of (September 15th) with my concerns. I didn't hear back so I followed up 5 days later. I've still not heard back and don't expect to. All of this to say, I don't know if I will be back to Beyoutiful Nails. The experience has been so inconsistent that I don't know if I want to risk wasting my time and money. read more

I've been here twice now and am loving this new place! My first visit was with Jenny and my gel manicure lasted a few weeks. She was personable and gentle on my cuticles. This time I had my appointment rescheduled and had Star who is a star!! I had a great French tip gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Beyoutiful Nails is the place to go in Carmel! A couple of years ago, I desperately called around searching for a nail place to fit me in last minute after my old tech cancelled on me. Pao was more than accommodating and took care of me immediately. It was at this appointment that I learned that the previous nail techs I had been to had not been taking care of my nails the way they should. If Pao and her staff hadn't caught what was going on with the health of my nails when they did, I may be missing some now. She explained to me what was going on and assured me that if I stuck to her plan, my nails would be back to normal in no time. I did, and my nails are now stronger and healthier than ever! This is the first nail salon I have been to that I don't continuously have issues with my nails breaking. The girls know what they are doing and are very skilled. This is a nice salon, the owner is very courteous and appointments start on time HOWEVER they play games with the pricing. The first time I went I got a mediocre pedicure by a lady who left right after without saying anything to anyone (they were chatting about it) so when I was charged I chalked it up to the girl who rang me up not being sure of my service. I gave them a 2nd chance, this time I had a lady with her young child (10-11?) helping her by getting polish etc. but the service was decent for what I THOUGHT I was paying for however when I went to check out. and the owner's husband (I'm guessing that's who he was based on conversation) rang me up i was charged a higher price. When I questioned it he said the difference between the pedicure I scheduled ($35 express) and the one I got ($43 spa) was a leg massage. I told him I didn't remember getting a leg massage. He went and asked the technician and she said she did it but I definitely don't remember feeling it, but if she said she did it then ok, lesson learned, pay but don't go back. The website is set up for customers to chose the services desired (with cost) technician, date and time when scheduling appointments so going into the appointment the technician should already know what I want, but for some odd reason, both times I went, I was asked what kind of pedicure I wanted, to which I responded "regular" or "basic" thinking that's probably the least expensive of the options without knowing the exact verbiage. At NO time was I told that a regular or basic pedicure was an upgrade from what I selected, nor was I given an option to add services, so WHY would I expect that the $35 pedicure I scheduled my appointment for was going to cost me $43? I did NOT receive $43 worth of service and I resent being up charged without my consent. How difficult is it to look at the service info for appointment then confirm what I requested? Don't just arbitrarily do something and then say "oh well this is the service you received because we did a,b, and c extra" that is NOT good business read more

I've been meaning to leave a review for this business for a while. I highly recommend Beyoutiful Nails, for reasons that go beyond just the excellent quality of their work. As a starting point, the technicians always do an excellent job and are extremely talented. Each year for pride, I usually ask to do rainbow nails, and the technicians are always willing and eager to accommodate the request, even if it means grabbing a few extra jars of dipping powder. The owner, Pao, is incredibly kind, and each time I've been in, I notice her extending that same kindness and appreciation to her staff members, which is something that I look for in a business. Just last night when I was there, I heard her listen to and accommodate a staff member's scheduling needs, greet and speak with another staff member's family who came in near closing, and I heard her give specific praise/appreciation for each employee on staff. I had a rough day with work and high functioning anxiety, and seeing her positive interactions with her staff is what I needed to end my day on a positive note. You can tell that she is fostering an atmosphere where gratitude is part of their mission. Bonus: the biz has online booking, which is an absolute must for a person with an insane schedule like myself. First time going to this place and won't be the last because overall I liked the final look! Things that went well: the service was fast but my nail tech still paid attention to all my questions and the detail of my nails. The shape is perfect and the coating is so smooth. I was comfortable and this place is so clean and well kept. All of the staff was friendly. Things that could go better: I had an 60 minute appointment for 11 but did not get seated until 11:20. Not a huge inconvenience since we were done by 12:05. Secondly, not the techs fault but some brands of dip have different display colors vs what you actually get. While I picked out a pink under toned nude color I ended up with a deep mauve- which in the end is still very pretty but not what I picked. Overall I will visit again when I come to town! read more

Was able to walk in without an appointment and get my nails done without a wait. My technician Laura was amazing and we were able to keep up easy and enjoyable conversation the entire time. Could be improved - My appointment felt a little rushed . I had an appointment for a general manicure which was expected to last 30 minutes . However I was done with my appointment in 20-25 minutes. The general manicure included a massage and hot towel but the message and the hot towel was definitely under one minute . I was a little late (5 min) for my appointment but I had informed the place about the delay so I think that could a one of the reasons for rush . Then the tech was very rushed as they kept coming over to tell her she had more and more people waiting. I wanted dip with a design on 2 nails. By the next day the gel top coat was peeling off. And then by day 3 my nails had not just chipped but broken off and taken most of the layers of my real nail with them. I had a fantastic pedicure! But this place is so weird. The seats you sit in for the pedicure are soooo VERY uncomfortable and it's also awkward trying to get seated in them. It's just benches with backs really. So if you're expecting your own massage chair, don't. I've never been more uncomfortable while receiving a great pedicure. Also, what's up with the 1 massage chair they do have, in the middle of the room??? The entire decor is trying to give off, "I'm trying to be boujee with all the greige and diamond studded pillows," but it misses completely. First of all, this place comes highly recommended and I don't understand why. When I made my appt., it was for regular polish on my hands and feet. She told me to come at 9:30. Which is fine. But they don't open until 9:30... so I didn't have time to pick a color at all and then they rushed me when I couldn't decide. I showed up at 9:15 and couldn't get in. Of course they tried to upsell me with gel, which is fine. But when I told her I am allergic she rolled her eyes and took someone else. When I did sit down and explained what I wanted, she was really annoyed because I asked for multiple colors. (Also they charge you $5 for "extra polish" when you get more than one color... I still only have 10 fingers and 10 toes... but somehow those take "more polish"?) Long and short, the polish was all over my cuticles. When I pointed it out she told me she would get it off AFTER she did my topcoat... I had to ask her 3 separate times to clean them up to which she responded with rolling her eyes and getting frustrated. She also flooded my nails with so much top coat that the next day (today) , they are cracking... a total of 3 layers of topcoat but somehow I was charged for "extra polish"... I have been here multiple times and it's a nightmare every time. I keep trying to come back because it is highly recommended. I can say I will not be back for sure. HUGE waste. You'd be better off going somewhere smaller without all the glitz and glam. It's a beautiful building, but when it comes to actually DOING the nails, they fall short. read more

Wonderful experience. First time here and it's been a hot second since I got a pedicure. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. They had an appointment book ready and asked if it was me before I could say anything. I picked out my nail color and they brought me straight back to the pedicure away. The only thing I was sad about was no massage chairs but the entire experience trumped that. The woman who did my pedicure 1) Super nice 2) was sooo gentle on my feet 3) I'm shocked how smooth and pretty my feet look. The majority of the time I've gotten a pedicure my toes were a little sore after from people being rough but not this time! Feet feel and look great!
