David the owner ended up doing acrylic nails for me after sitting me down as he figured out I was hoping for acrylic nails. The service was fast and I love my nails. They feel and look natural. I am rather late in updating reviews, but now with a bit of time on my hands I'm adding reviews of small businesses that have gone above and beyond! On a visit to the Carmel Indiana area about 3 months ago, one of my nails had a major break. My gel-coat nails were done in my home state, but Trendy Nails went out of their way to fit me in on a busy Saturday! The salon was so clean and pristine and the owner and nail technicians were friendly and very professional! They did a fabulous job in making my nails gorgeous again! I'm so grateful to them and I look forward to planning my next visit to the area perhaps just to have my nails done at Trendy Nails again! Thanks so much! read more

I'm not from the Whitestown/Zionsville area but this nail salon is worth the drive from Brownsburg for me! I have been looking for a good nail salon with good vibes and wonderful people. They are usually by appointment only (I called before going in to make sure they had the time) but they made an exception since they weren't too busy. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with amazing and quick customer service! I believe I talked to Lin (I apologize if the spelling is wrong) and Ben did my nails. I got a gel pedicure and a dip mani and the results are beautiful! Ben took his time on my toes and my hands which I feel like I usually don't get at other salons. I did not feel rushed once. Not to mention I feel like their pricing is great. Got both done for $95. Safe to say I will be back! read more

I love this place! I looked at nail salons in and around Zionsville, Trendy Nails does the job. Ann is the owner. She young, cute, spunky, and does one hell of a manicure. She's quick at times, but the end result is a clean paint job and and a beautiful manicure. I'm a little nervous about being their first review, but here goes nothin'! Trendy's is the third of three Zionsville nail salons I've hit up in my quest for the best overall experience near my home base, and overall, it was pretty good! Let me admit that I visited on a weekday with only about an hour and a half before closing, hoping to get a gel manicure. The manicurist who did my manicure was Ann, and I believe she's the owner. Ann did a nice job with my cuticles and my polish. I let her suggest a color. She picked "Cajun shrimp," a really pretty coral - definitely a nice choice for my pale complexion. :) I would definitely let her do my nails again! Why did I give it 4 instead of 5 stars? First, there was a small burst of people who came in after me with less than an hour left, and all the techs were with clients. While I appreciate that they tried to accommodate all the last minute walk-ins and I do understand business is business, my girl rushed to finish me so she could get to the others. Not a huge deal, but I'd rather not have that feeling. Second, I am not confident that she used a newly sanitized set of tools on me. They may have been freshly clean, or they may have been used on others before me without having been re-cleaned. I can't be sure. I just know she pulled them out of a drawer. They very well could have been freshly sanitized. I'd just prefer there not have been any doubt. Fortunately, I've not had any issues with my nails getting infected. In short, Trendy's was nice. I'll probably come back, but if I'm being honest, I like another salon in Zionsville ever-so-slightly more. This is mainly because of a clear message that sanitization is important at the other salon (lots of sanitizers being used plus disposable liners used on all pedicures). read more

Worst manicure I've received over many years and a few states. The nail tech didn't completely trim the cuticles. She didn't file the nails as I asked. I've never had a manicure where they didn't massage the lotion on your forearms as well as your hands until here. I didn't get any color so there was no reason to rush. She spent maybe five minutes. Disappointing. In a world full of nail places, there is no need to come here. The locator for the salon is set for New York - not Whitestown, Indiana. Even the Yelp listing is lacking. read more

I've only been a here a few times, and the first few experiences were good. My last one however was not the greatest. I walked in on a Thursday for a gel manicure (sometime after lunch), and it was not busy at all - I sat down on a chair right away. The owner did my nails; she is nice and friendly, but I feel like she did a rushed job. She did not even ask me how I wanted my nails to be shaped (I like mine squared, she just went ahead and rounded them). The end result looked nice, however, in all the times I've gotten my nails done (and I always choose the gel/shellac mani), this was the first time EVER that my nails started chipping two days after! For $30 (plus tip), I expect something that lasts a couple weeks. It's now been a week, and the majority of the mani on both hands have come off. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. read more

This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. Ann the owner was not only rude and unwelcoming but the actual manicure was mediocre for the price. I only got a gel polish on my hands and feet and it was very misleading that the price on the board said five dollars for gel polish. I used to love this place. That last few times I have hoped the owner wouldn't be there. I do not like her doing my nails. She is quick but with fault. She comes off rude and my gel polish is too thick. You definitely feel that she must get you out of the way for the next person. There are several other manicurists that I really like (Angie) but the owner lets her start on my nails and then pulls her to do someone else. It is so frustrating. Avoid going here at all costs. I learned the hard way after going here a year and then got an infection with consequences I will deal with for the rest of my life. The owner Ann does not care about the women she services. She only cares about money she gets from her customers and how fast she can move people in and out of her seat. She also does not treat the older women who work there well either. I am way too nice and tried to work out the problem with the owner and she told me it was my problem and mocked me. I am a working professional who always tips higher than normal and I have never had an issue like this before. Beware of the upselling to other services besides the traditional services she offers. I was shocked at the unprofessionalism I dealt with when I tried to the resolve the issue hoping it was just a one time error. It is clear the owner knows there are cleanliness issues and is trying to hide those issues. Do not take a chance in going here. There are so many other great nail sales nearby. Like I said, I will be dealing with results of this infection for the rest of my life because of a careless mistake on the owners part. Sad that a woman cares so little for other women. read more
