[we] ensure each and every guest leaves our spa oasis feeling relaxed, recentered and renewed" NOT SO!! OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH SAVIA (a spa located at 8594 E. 116th Street, Fishers, IN) believed to be associated with Woodhouse Spa Earlier this month, my wife (Charlotte) purchased a full body (couples') massage from Savia Spa as a first year's wedding anniversary present for me. The Spa scheduled our joint massage for 2PM. June 10th, 2026. Our therapists' names were Katie and Kennedy. Kennedy was to do my massage and Katie was to do Charlotte's massage. Within minutes after our massages began, Katie began coughing. Katie's coughing continued for the next 23 minutes. I know this because I found it to be quite disturbing and therefore noted when her coughing began and when it ended. Her cough was very deep and I could hear what seemed to be the sound of phlegm in her cough. When our massages were through and I was leaving, I told the receptionist that I wanted to speak to a manager. I was told that there was no manager present. I then asked her to have the manager call me. When the manager called me back, I told her what had transpired during our massage and she told me that she had not noticed any signs of a cold or coughing from Katie. She told me she would check into this matter and call me back. When the manager called me back the next day, she informed me that she'd spoken with Katie and Katie told her that she had been sick but was no longer sick and had been given a note from her doctor saying she was able to go back to work. She said she was sorry this had happened. I told her that I should not have had to pay for this massage and was highly dissatisfied with her casual attitude that this had happened, but acknowledged nothing about how Katie's persistent coughing had interfered with the tranquility we should have received from of our massage but didn't. She then finished our conversation by saying she would "speak with someone higher up" and call me back by the end of the day. I never received any call back from anyone regarding this matter. From my point of view (and I speak for my wife, myself as well as [I believe] many others who give themselves the benefits expected from a good massage), a massage should not only work to relieve the body's muscles aches, pains and other medical issues, but also equally important, relieve the stressors of the day and help make one's mind calm and at peace. This certainly was not the outcome of our massage. Imagine yourself Charlotte settled in, awaiting your masseuse. The masseuse comes in, introduces herself; then asks a series of questions relating to your upcoming massage. After her questions have been answered, she then applies lotion all over your (Charlotte's) unclothed body, then begins the massage, rubbing lotion into your skin. No later than five (5) minutes from the time that she begins, she (Katie) starts coughing every 10 - 15 seconds. You begin to wonder about the level of sanitation of this masseuse' hands given this persistent coughing. The coughing shatters the peace and quiet of the room, making any peaceful rest as the time progresses difficult, if not impossible. More to the point (and even more alarming) a fear creeps into your mind that the lotion she is rubbing into the pores of your body may subject you to "catching" whatever she has. You are not only unsettled by the persistent coughing, but you then begin hearing phlegm in her cough. I, Charlotte's husband, being in the same room, was not only greatly unsettled by the persistent coughing, but also the possibility that Charlotte and/or I could catch whatever malady Katie was suffering from. Well, coming full circle, contrary to the last statement made by whomever called me twice (after we'd left the salon), no one has called us to discuss this matter further. The representations of what the person who called me after we'd left the salon were: 1. Katie had NOT been sick at the time Charlotte & I underwent our massages; 2. Katie had been to see the doctor recently with respect to her coughing issue and had not only told her she didn't have any health issue(s), but ON TOP OF THAT, the doctor had given Katie a note to take into work, stating that she (Katie) was NOT sick; was able to attend to her duties relating to lotioning & then massaging patrons, and 3. In support of the foregoing representations made by him to Katie, the doctor purportedly provided Katie with a written note memorializing his (the foregoing) representations. I, for one, would like to see that note. In closing, I'm not inclined to believe the veracity of what has been told to me by the manager (assuming she is a manager) of the salon located at 8594 E. 116th Street, Fishers. I went here for a spa day and took my mom. We each had a Premier Purifying Detox Wrap treatment. You start out getting a comfortable bathrobe and slipper sandals. Then you begin your journey in the relaxation room with a warm neck wrap, comfy chairs, and your choice of water or hot tea. My massage therapist Kristyn was absolutely amazing. My wrap was soothing and calming while I listened to the mountain sounds. This was a great experience and I can't wait to go back. After a really difficult month, I decided to treat myself to a renew package that included a detox wrap, signature massage, and signature facial. All of these combined is about 3 hours. I called to book about a week in advance and that was very smooth. I did receive a call that they had a team member who called out that day so they needed to move my appointment up to ensure I could get all of my services. I was able to move it up an hour, but unfortunately I had an appointment prior so I ended up coming closer to my original scheduled time. Thankfully, they accommodated me anyway. I completed my forms ahead of time, but I'm not sure the staff checked that before my arrival, so my preferences for lotion scent and music weren't honored, but the options provided at the time were great. The services were really nice! I loved the wrap, it was probably my favorite part. Like a really warm hug. The massage was nice as well. The facial was thorough and Kristen even removed the black heads from my face and recommended products I could buy at the store for cheap. I was so happy to not be upsold during my visit, it was truly relaxing and no pressure like some places can be. I didn't receive any lunch or refreshments outlined in some other reviews / on the website for the packages, but I enjoyed the hot tea and tea mints. Here are a few tips if you're a person of color or a curly haired girl: - bring your own shower cap. The ones they provide are thin and small. They won't cover anything but a pixie cut lol - bring a bonnet. I would've just worn a bonnet the entire time tbh to make my life easier. - bring an edge wrap. During the facial they use steam, so you'll want to keep the edges laid with an edge wrap. - bring an umbrella or park in the garage just incase it rains. - bring one of those sleeping eye masks that go around your head. The eye towels they put over your eyes are nice, but having something more stable over your eyes might be more comfortable so it doesn't move every time you blink. After that however, it was a consistent series of multiple disappointing experiences with other employees (Amanda the manager for one) and therapists which unfortunately led me to eventually canceling my membership. Really great true spa experience. When you arrive you fill out a form with your skin needs and even things like scent and music preference during your treatment. I would say, arrive a few minutes early to complete this. Then, they take you to the changing area where you can change into your robe and sandals. There is a womens retreat area where you can sit and relax. Then, you are called back for your facial. I did really enjoy my facial. The music and scent of the products was not what I selected on my preferences, but that okay. She did a great job and made sure I was relaxed and comfortable. My skin felt great afterwords and is still looking great. After, they did try to sell me a couple of products. I may try them at some point, but didn't feel like spending the extra money at the time. It's so sad because I used to love this place because of the service that they provide. I even signed up for their packages every month just to go but somehow I think they have been changing their staff lately. Kristen was my favorite, she was very through with all the details I need for my skin. She also provided massage and explained everything about what my skin needs and recommendation. This was the service that I would be over $100 for. I decided to stop going here because of several reasons. It's so difficult to find parking. You would have to go to the parking garage and walk towards the place, either that or park across and you're lucky if you find a parking spot. At first, I was lost but I eventually found my way there. I kept going back for a couple months until they started changing their staff. Today, I went for the last time just to give it another shot and continue to come.. maybe. However, I paid over $140 and didn't get a good experience at all. The front desk was training someone new and the person almost gave a $50 tip from my account. They didn't even bother asking me why I decided to terminate my account. I don't know but I used to recommend this place to my friends and a lot of people but it's no longer worth the cost. It's sad to say that this place may be going downhill. read more

Just went here for the first time and I'm glad I did. I originally booked through the website which is super easy and makes it simple to set a date. I opted for a 60 minute deep tissue and it was amazing. I have been to quite a few massage franchises and local one off places from the high end to the low end but Spavia rates among the best in my book! Celia, my massage therapist was super receptive and worked magic in that hour. She way out ranked other masseuses I have seen in the past. From our introduction I was put at ease, she was comfortable and seemed to know just the spots to target and relax me. In just an hour she had relieved chronic pain I regularly see a chiropractor for and eased my stress and tension I constantly carry. The place itself was very nice, reminiscent of another popular high end spa in our area. The clean entryway, relaxing music, modern changing rooms and sitting area with tea, water and mints all add to the ambiance. The plush robes and comfy sandals are a really nice touch. The massage rooms are clean and even quieter than my average spa experience. Overall I can't say enough good things about Spavia, I used to think massages weren't all that necessary but I'm rethinking that now! I look forward to going back! read more

A great way to start the summer break....a spa day. Since this was my first visit I got the signature massage--- it was wonderful. I had to complete a questionnaire. I would suggest doing it online or arrive early to your appointment. The questionnaire let you pick your music, fragrance, and pressure of the massage. They also asked if you wanted the massage therapist to talk or be quiet. I enjoyed crashing ocean waves with orange blossom fragrance. We were escorted to the dressing room where we were given thick comfy robes and sandals. Then we went into the relaxation room which had warm neck wraps, water, and hot tea. After the massage we were escorted back to the relaxation room. We enjoyed just sitting there talking and listening the calming running water. This was the cherry onto of the sundae. I am a Premier member with Spavia and have been for over 3 years and go to multiple locations. I came to the Fishers location for the first time and did not have a pleasant experience. Services were mediocre but the front desk was friendly. However, the system they use couldn't figure out how to use my monthly credits correctly. They used my credits for services I added on a requested to pay for in cash, instead of using them on my Premier services. So I ended up having to pay out of pocket for more expensive services, even though I pay my monthly membership dues to cover those. Makes no sense. Supposedly they are privately owned and this was the owner's decision to not provide decent customer service for an issue on their end. They could have AT LEAST discounted what they were making me pay for to the appropriate amount. Will never come back to this location again. read more

I went here for my birthday last month and had a massage, detox wrap and facial. Because I bought the package that also included lunch from Pure Eatery which was nice! They have a very nice relaxation room and provide slippers and a robe to help you get ready which was a nice touch. My massage with Sheila was fantastic and I will definitely consider coming back and having her again. The wrap and facial were my first time for both and while they were nice to relax, weren't as good as I had hoped for the price and probably won't do again. Overall, Spavia was midline in pricing with all three of these services costing around 350. At many of the fancy spas it would be a lot higher so I was pleased with what I got for the price and time and definitely would recommend if you don't want to spend as much but still have a quality time. read more

This place is amazing. We decided to treat ourselves since we both worked really hard to loose weight and eat better this summer. So we got the 80 minutes Swedish massage. It was so worth it. My husband got Adrienne and I got David. They were both great and very professional. I love the ambiance of this place. They provide you the most comfortable robe and flip flop before you head over to get your massage. They have lockers and you can even shower after if needed. I would recommend to show up half an hour early......gives you time to check in, pick out your scent for the massage oil, change to your most comfortable robe.....and have some tea and relax at the retreat area before you get your massage. What a wonderful experience! Adrienne was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about my skin. I opted for a Premiere Balancing Facial, but next time I come, I will probably get a deep cleansing facial just given the state of my skin. The experience was extremely relaxing with a decolete and shoulder massage. I was driving into town from about an hour and a half a way, and hit some traffic that set me back a few minutes. I called and the staff was super understanding and accommodating pushing back my appointment by 10 minutes. Yesterday I had a massage at Spavia. Upon entering I was escorted to the women's retreat. After changing into my big comfy robe, I went into the women's retreat and put on a heated neck pillow and made myself some hot tea. My therapist met me and took me to my room to get ready. She proceeded to give me 100 minutes sports massage. She used a combination of warm towels, hot stones, stretching and massage. She was extremely professional very good and thorough. I walked away feeling like melted butter. All in all an awesome experience which I highly recommend for anyone else. read more
