First off, I get to the appointment and right after my eyebrow wax I confirm that I'm getting a Brazilian along with an upper leg wax. And they told me they didn't have me down for the Brazilian even though they confirmed it with me. Fortunately enough they're able to add it on. I've been getting Brazilian waxes for the past 21 years, and this was by far the roughest Brazilian I have ever had. And at the end of it not only was there hair missed, there's also severe bruising And burns. My eyelid is so burnt from my eyebrow wax, 24 hours later, that it is blistering and I can't even put make up on a cover it up. read more

Absolutely love this place. I've been coming here for a couple years now and the staff is always so welcoming and friendly. They are very discreet with the service(s) you book and offer the best customer service. The space is very clean and you can tell the people that work there really take care of their workspace and rooms. No matter what wax service you are in need of they can do it all and are very professional with their clients. If this is your first waxing experience I highly recommend coming here they will take good care of you! read more

I've come to The Naked Monkey 3 times now and had 3 different waxers, and have no complaints from any of my visits! They have helped me to start growing out my eyebrows while still keeping a nice shape to them. They have been perfectly friendly and professional as well. Xoxo, Is this thing on? read more

I look forward to my periodic visits here. Sarah is friendly and very detailed. She does a great job every time! She uses the appropriate wax for the job so you get smoother that much quicker! Scheduling is easy, and if you schedule a follow-up, you get a discount on the following visit! They call a day or two before to remind you of your upcoming appointment which I find handy because I set my own reminders, but sometimes life gets in the way so having that extra one is helpful. The Naked Monkey carries skin care products and has sales from time to time. Follow them on social media to take advantage of those and see what other fun things they're up to! read more

I need to find out who did my Brazilian because she ruined my wedding night and honeymoon. I got a wax 3 days before the wedding - she did a horrible job, used strip wax for almost the whole thing, and then ON MY WEDDING DAY my coochie broke out with folliculitis which looks like white pimples ALL OVER my good China. It hurt, it was gross, and I had to wear diaper rash cream on my wedding day. Please fire this girl. I've had at least 10 Brazilians in my life all from the naked monkey and nothing even close to this has happened before. Be glad I didn't take a picture. read more

The aestheticians here always make my back waxing as comfortable as possible. I will continue to come back. Highly recommend!

I went to the Fishers location to have a male Brazilian done, Madison was my aesthetician. She did a phenomenal job, fast, and efficient! I've had several done in the past, but this may have been the best yet!! read more

I normally get my brows threaded but I couldn't get into to my normal salon and needed to find a place that could get my brows done right for an event I was attending. I called The Naked Monkey and they were able to get me in in no time. They were so kinds but I literally left looking the exact same. My brows had no shape and I ended up getting them threaded a few days after. They seemed to have a long wait so I'm assuming it was just a poor first experience -- however, I've been to other waxing places and loved the outcome. This place just wasn't for me and was way over priced for a brow wax. read more

First time to the Fishers location as opposed to another one and wow, a much better experience and less painful with this esthetician's technique. She was also extremely thorough and had great energy! read more

This was my first visit to this location. While my previous visit to a different location was not great this one was much better. I was made to feel at ease and my Esthetician did a great job. I will definitely go back! The only downside is parking. read more

If you're nervous about getting waxed, don't be---the staff here makes even the most anxious first-time waxee feel comfortable. Candace is awesome, and I swear the wax here hurts less than at other places. Very clean, prices are reasonable, and they don't try to push products on you (but buy the Finipil and avoid the ingrown hairs---it works!). Their website has great tips for the first timer as well. read more

It's probably the best Beazilian wax I've ever had in my life and I've gotten waxes all over the world. I primarily get mine done back home in LA and this one by Candice was BETTER!!! It was almost painless (because she did everything in small sections) and she was really quick and sweet. If I'm ever in Indianapolis again this will be my first stop! And if you're ever here you can rest assured that you have a place to get a high quality Brazilian. P.S. It wasn't a million bucks either! VERY reasonable! read more

Love Sarah G she's awesome! Clean, friendly, quick service done properly every time. I have been coming here for almost a year. I always reschedule, get reminder calls, and have a good experience. I highly recommend this waxing spa read more

UPDATE: I have now heard back from Brenda - almost as soon as I posted this review lol - and she offered me a full refund for my services. That being said, it took quite a conversation to get her there. At one point, she even suggested that she'd like to "get to the bottom of this issue by trying different methods and waxes." Thank you, but my lady parts are not up for experimentation. Regardless, I appreciate her getting back to me and eventually agreeing to the refund. I would certainly not recommend this place, but perhaps my case is an anomaly. Who knows! read more

If I could give more stars, I would. Best Brazilian experience ever! I drove almost 90 minutes and will do so again because of the phenomenal experience I had. Candace and the entire Monkey staff made my day. This wasn't my first Brazilian, but the others I've had in the past left a lot to be desired: stray hairs left, an unprofessional esthetician, and a very uncomfortable experience each time. I was due for another one, so instead of going to the place I'd been before, I decided to try The Naked Monkey and I'm very glad I did. Candace welcomed me warmly and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. The entire waxing experience took less than 20 minutes and was the most comfortable wax I've ever had. Candace is obviously very good at what she does; she quickly performed the service and tweezed the few strays left over, all while carrying on light, natural conversation. I was definitely pleased with the end result. Don't be afraid of the Brazilian! I highly recommend the Monkey for a reasonable, high-quality waxing experience. read more

Great customer service. My friend and I made appointments the night before and got right in. Estheticians were amazing.

Made an appointment, excited to go and the woman I spoke to seemed nice enough on the phone... Put the address in my gps and it led me into a neighborhood when I called consistently for about 20 minutes to get directions, no one answered. When I didn't show up to my appointment, no one called to find out why. Highly disappointed. read more

I've had a pretty bad eyebrow waxing experience in the past at another salon before coming to the Naked Monkey. I was so thankful that at my first appointment they talked to me about my skin and my past experiences and decided on the right wax before we got started. I've been been going ever since! I've had a few estheticians there (my regular one moved to NY) but all of have been great. If you are looking for a great waxing experience, visit the Naked Monkey and also watch there Facebook page for deals. read more

This review is going to be short and sweet but to the point this location at the naked monkey is excellent and Candice is the best she is always on time very thorough and has great communication to make the experience short and sweet she get you in and out in 15 minutes and she always makes you feel comfortable also this location has the best wax out of any other waxing place I have been read more

Normally I go to the one in Carmel, but since I was in Fishers one day and in a need to get my eyebrows waxed, I stopped by this location. I swear this one is better than the Carmel one... and I like the Carmel one. Almost tempting to drive the extra few minutes to go here... read more

My first time and I will be returning. Nice, friendly, efficient, clean. Bikini wax wasn't as bad as I thought. The lady I had (forgot her name that fast)...was really good and fast. I want to try for Brazilian, but im a punk. Great job putting me at ease for my first wax. read more

I've had my second wax and I'm just as pleased this time around as I was the first time. This time I had Mandy and she was awesome. She was quick, efficient, professional and funny. My appointment took about 25 minutes tops. The ladies here are so nice and they don't make the service awkward at all. It's definitely worth your time to check them out read more

Christy is awesome! The best and least painful Brazilian I've ever had! Professional, yet friendly and really sweet too. And she wasn't offended by my onset of profanities. Which actually wasn't too bad with her, because like I said, she's awesome! I'm sure everyone there is, but she is who I was given to and who I will stay with. read more

Went here randomly on a trip home to visit my parents. It was easy to get to, they accept credit cards and have ample parking. I walked in with no appointment in the middle of the day and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Staff were all super friendly and I wish this place was in CT (where I currently live) as they would be my go to folks for waxing needs. read more

Went there for my first bikini wax. Everyone was very professional. My wait was short, and I didn't feel rushed through the appointment. My waxer was very nice in talking me through was she was going to do, and what I should expect. While I wasn't a fan of the bare look (personal preference) I would recomment this place. read more

these folks are pretty pro. i usually do my own waxing, but i've been to multiple salons throughout the city as well, with mixed results. since the naked monkey is dedicated to waxing, though, i think they r doin' it right. they definitely have figured out all the things that make a wax more tolerable...if you've never been waxed and want to give it a try but you're feeling anxious, i recommend starting at this place. read more

went in last week to get eyebrows and lip waxed.. the girl who helped me was fairly young, in her twenties.. I already have a natural arch to my eyebrows and was just looking to get them cleaned up.. instead I came out with a square at the beginning of my brows up to my natural arch. it looks like I gave the tweezers to a four year old and told her to have at it. never going back again. I hope they train they're staff. do not go here for brow shaping. read more

It took me a few months after moving back from California to find a salon that I could trust with my waxing. I was getting really bad ingrown hairs and never did before. I was then told about The Naked Monkey, so figured why not! I have been going to The Naked Monkey in fishers for a while now. Candice is who I see and she is incredible, a life saver. I am even waxing my eyebrows again after threading for years. She is very knowledgable and I do not have to worry about all those ingrown hairs! love the monkey and Candice is my girl! I recommend it to everyone who asks! read more
