Had a gift certificate and they would not honor it because they said it hadn't been 6 months since I last used one. I bought a Black Friday deal, which I used in December. I also receive one as a gift for Christmas which I tried using in May. IT. WAS. A. GIFT.!!! Couldn't get them to understand that at all. She got the bill down to $22 but I should not have had to pay a dime - it was already paid in full. Will NEVER go back. It was a classic bait and switch. Be careful people. No where on the gift certificate did it say anything about a 6 month wait. Services were ok but customer service was awful. Emailed the G.M. and he pretty much ghosted me after I said I wanted a refund. He said their records showed that I was the one who made both purchases. NOPE, not true at all. I informed the person who gave me the gift, they reached out, and G.M. never responded. I would have given them 0 starts if it was an option. You walk in and the atmosphere speaks to your soul to relax! After you check in they escort you to the waiting room and offer you a beverage. While you wait you exhale and start to unwind. Then you are taken to your room and get ready for the massage. Once the soft music starts you know the magic is about to happen. It was AWESOME! All of the stress from the week was forgotten. Was a weekly customer for three plus years and changed due to poor management, constant front desk staff changes and rudeness.

I have been to a couple of chain massage therapy settings and MassageLuXe is the nicest I've been too. When you go in, the environment is calming and appealing. The host takes you back to the lounge for a bottle of water and even more calming atmosphere to complete any needed paperwork and to await your therapist. I have typically gotten a full body deep tissue massage. They are the best. The therapist I most recently had was Morgan and she gave me the best massage I have ever gotten. I plan on having Morgan as my massage therapist here from this point forward and I already have my next session booked. read more

I'm surprised by some of the bad reviews on here. I've had good customer service experiences every time I have been there. The facility is clean and the massage therapists are very skilled. I will say that I had a facial there and probably won't try that again. It was fine, a three-star experience, but I had have better facials from more seasoned estheticians other places. I had one hiccup with service and they made it right. My therapist was running late and called the front desk to let them know. They came to me, apologized, and offered use of the hydro-bed until he arrived. It's a relaxing experience, and if it's too relaxing (i.e. boring), there is a touch screen just above your face where you can choose health-related articles to read. So I spent 15 minutes getting a hydro-massage and reading healthy weight loss tips before my real massage started. I've participated in their monthly club for a while and I have not experienced any problems. If I do, I will update my review. I can't give five stars because they aren't a business that goes above and beyond and provides the most outstanding service ever. But they have good customer service and skilled employees. read more

I've been here for 2 massages. The first one was to use a gift card that I've had for awhile. The massage was with a lady, I can't remember her name, and it was okay. She found a few knots but I didn't feel completely relaxed or pain free. I signed up for the membership and got my 2nd massage with Josh. Josh listened to my issues and took care of the spots I was having issues with. He also gave me some tips on what I can do at home between massages. The front desk staff has been nice and polite. The place is clean and I love the essential oil scents. Its so peaceful when you come in and sit in the lounge that you cant help but to relax and slow down a little. I went here for my Mothers day massage I got as a gift. I advised that when I arrived I had a certificate that was a gift . I got my massage and left a $20 tip on a credit card. I noticed they charged my card $140 ? They charged me for a massage anyway even though I told them I had a gift certificate. To add to that they did not tell me. I will never come here again. That is stealing and I don't care if you credited my card back you should have never done it to begin with . Shame on your manager and your staff! I finally got to redeem the massage I purchased as a Black Friday special. I called about 3 days prior and was easily able to secure a time slot for an hour deep tissue massage. While trying to find an appointment that would work for me; I was asked if I was comfortable with a male or if I preferred a female. I requested a female. I was fortunate to get scheduled with Jacklyn Solan and had one of the best massages I've ever had. It was a deep tissue massage as I requested, and she worked diligently to work out some knots. I'm still a little tender from the deep tissue massage but that's to be expected. I highly recommend Jacklyn - the massage was great and there was very little conversation which is what I prefer. The last time I was there they offered the use of the electric massage table - they did not mention it this time. Perhaps that is because I had been there before? It was time for some self-care so what better way than getting a massage?! The facility is clean, vibrant yet calming and relaxing. The employees were friendly, informative and polite. The wait time was short, filled with water, team and coffee. And the IPad for signing-in and completing the forms was easy and fast. There's plenty of space and many rooms. The restroom was also clean which was great! I had Shirley for my masseuse and she was just perfect! Great conversationalist and very knowledgeable about her work. The sounds on repeat made it easy to relax and get comfortable therefore I recommend this place over and over again. I was very stressed and decided to buy the groupon for this place. I called to set an appointment and the lady answering the phone didn't seem as if she wanted to be at work, but after getting to the location everyone was very friendly The location was really nice and they offered water or tea to drink while waiting. My massage was wonderful!!! I received a 50 min Swedish Massage with 15 mins on the Hydro Lux massage bed. I felt like a brand new woman leaving. I will definitely be back! Everything was wonderful. The esthetician did an amazing job of recommending me which facial to get to address my skin concerns. Basically they lure you in, then charge you monthly, then don't care about you any more. People can't get in, they keep charging monthly, and when you activate the membership again, they start to charge immediately again, then how can you ever use up the credit accumulated? Rediculous policies, do not even get yourself into their membership, horrible!!! It's the worst massage place I ever experienced. Go there if you are curious, however never ever start membership with them. Their manager don't even care if they would have Long term business or not. I felt trapped. The front desk clearly miscommunicated information and in the end didn't allow me to even receive half of the services I paid for! I scheduled my massage a week before I had it. The daay of my massage, I was called and told my therapist wasn't going to make it in, so they would have to reschedule. No offer of anything to make it better, just reschedule. I finally found a spot two weeks out that worked for them. On the phone, I specificay requested a male therapist. They tried to convince me to keep the female therapist, but I wanted a male and requested one. Day of my massage: my appointment was at 6:00. My massage started 15 minutes late. I couldn't relax through half of it because I was worried about getting my full-time. Now luckily my therapist was absolutely amazing. Sheila made up for all of the Problems leading up to 6 o'clock. Not enough to make me get a membership, but it was a very nice 50 minute massage and I think her for that. She is the sole reason they don't get one star. The girl upfront when I came in was not very personable, but the girl when I left was adorable and very informative about the water bed. read more

Not sure if it was because I was a new client or because I had a Groupon or what but I arrived 10 minutes before the suggested 5:45pm to fill out waivers/paperwork etc. and finished pretty quickly leaving me to wait a little while. What irked me was that another gentleman was called back before I was but I guess the schedules run differently from person to person. No biggie. I appreciated that although the massage ran a little late (not by much; 5 minutes max), the time was made up. Jacklyn was great! Professional for sure. It was a little strange that I said I had lower back pain and most of the session was focused on the upper but i guess I had a lot of tension there. My first visit to MassageLuxe in Carmel was from a promotional deal offered to me from a Facebook ad. I did a little research on the company and discovered that they are a monthly membership business model exactly like Massage Envy -- a franchise I have had terrible and inconsistent experiences with in the past. My experience with MassageLuxe has been a pleasant surprise and nothing at all like Massage Envy, despite their similar business models. I have had many firm Swedish massages by Samantha Jones (there are 4 Samantha's at this location) and she is wonderful. She's actually pretty hard to book because she is so popular -- and for good reason! Her head massages are heaven! This past week, Samantha Jones wasn't available on the date I was, so I took a chance with a new-to-me therapist, Joseph. You never know the quality of the therapist you're going to get and it always feels like rolling the dice when you go to a new person, but Joseph did not disappoint either! He did not make me feel uncomfortable and went out of his way to put me at ease and soothe my awkward edges. He is definitely a master of his craft. I immediately booked another massage with him for next week. So I have seen two therapists at this locations and both have been extremely competent, professional, and consistent. I absolutely recommend this MassageLuxe location and especially Joseph or Samantha Jones as your therapist. A NOTE ABOUT THE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM You do get a cheaper rate if you sign up for the monthly membership program to be deducted automatically from your account. This is fine for me because it forces me to practice self-care -- something I am not good at doing. Any unused hours are banked to your account and you can use them at anytime for any service (facial, foot massage, extended massage, etc.). You can cancel anytime without penalties. I do wish I could transfer a massage to a friend as a gift (something Massage Envy allowed), but it's not a big deal. read more

I bought a Groupon for this place for my husband. He works at FedEx as a package handler and lifts 50-110lb packages for 8 hours straight every morning. Not top notch. Therapist left me face down, arms dangling for the full 45 minutes. Yet I paid $100 for 60 minutes. One of my problem areas was my arm, hurt worse coming out. After initially being hesitant to get a massage amid COVID-19 concerns, I received a gift certificate to MassageLuxe and decided it was time to jump back in to some self-care. The massage therapist assured me that cleaning practices were in place, and all staff were wearing masks and washing their hands. They ask that you wear your mask during your massage with the option to remove it when you turn over (I opted to keep mine on the whole time and they were totally understanding of that). This was the best massage I have received in a long time! My massage therapist really listened to me and paid special attention to my problem areas (there are plenty after working from home for almost a year now). To make the experience extra special, I was offered 15 minutes for free on their hydro luxe massage machine for some extra relaxation! I called asking if they offered prenatal massages. They said yes. So I made an appointment for the next day. The women who messaged me had no idea how to message a pregnant women. When we walked into the room there was a body pillow on the table. She had no idea what to do with it. She seemed very uncomfortable and didn't know what to do. I changed and she came back in and said "I am not used to messaging a pregnant women" well that makes me feel good. I should have walked out then. The message was terrible more of a run down then anything. She would ask how the firmness was and I would ask her to be former and she never did.
