I am from California and visiting family here. I booked an appointment for seven pedicures on Thursday for Saturday. The services included five pedicures and two children's manicures and pedicures. Jennifer called me before our scheduled time, inquiring about our location in an abrupt tone. When we arrived, she demanded to know the service requirements of each of us, without greeting us, displaying a rude demeanor. I specified the pedicures and children's appointments, including the Hello Kitty chair for my 9-year-old niece. Jennifer questioned her age and put her in a regular chair despite the Hello Kitty chair being suitable. I called ahead to check for availability and they luckily had a slot a few hours later at 6:30 on Friday (prom weekend too!) I still had to wait for about 10 minutes or so and was told to pick a color even though I had pics of what I wanted. I was told to sit at a chair until my nail tech, Joy, came to greet me. I showed her what I had in mind and she came back with 3 options. All were lovely and I picked the one I loved - which wasn't close to the picture I showed her ha ha. But I loved it. She was attentive to detail, made sure I was happy with it and checked in on me and my satisfaction throughout the session. I did an acrylic full set with almond shape and am so happy with the way it turned out! Got lots of compliments at my event and even at work when I returned the following week. I had shin surgery, and he always pays special attention to my scars according to my needs. Maiya, my manicurist, is the GOAT of designs. She can freehand anything as long as you bring a picture. I consulted her about which shape might work best for my hands and which designs I should choose if I'm ever stuck between two. I've been going here since I moved back to Indiana, almost 2 years ago, and I won't go anywhere else! Run, don't walk! It gets busy, so scheduling an appointment is a must. My friend has been telling me that I needed to try Sisters' for a couple years. She was right. The spa was crowded when we arrived with every chair filled. Nail experts were masked and working busily. Ping, the owner was greeting guests. They offer regular, gel or powder manicures and have the largest selection of colors that I've ever seen. I had the best mani/pedi ever from Tony. The foot and leg massage was out of this world. He was efficient without rushing. My nails looked great. The salon is clean and relaxing with music and a food channel playing. They have a two kid chairs decorated like thrown for pedicures. Sisters' is now my "go to" nail spa. read more

I've been going to Sisters' for dip powder manis and regular pedis for about 2 years. I've been to dozens of nail salons in multiple states, and Sisters' does the best work by far, no matter who is doing the service! You will need an appointment, which can easily be scheduled on their Facebook page or by phone. They will get you in and out quickly, and they'll talk or be quiet - whichever you prefer. The spa is clean, organized, and all the technicians have a good sense of humor. Highly recommended! read more

Pros: 1. They accommodated me as a walk in 2. I like how they display the polish options up front 3. The UV lights are stowed so they don't have to move them on and off the table. So why 2 stars? I went in with gel polish already on my nails. So I needed the gel polish removed, my fingernails, trimmed and shaped, and new polish applied. The technician doing my nails flew through the whole process, I was in and out in about 35 minutes she didn't leave enough time for the polish to cure, and now less than one week later, my nails are chipping, usually a gel manicure will last me three weeks. In addition, the chemical smell as soon as you walk in the front door was overwhelming. I know a lot of people recommend this nail salon, but I am not one of them. read more

Shortly after my original review, I went through some really tough stuff. Things were not going so well. But after a while, I started coming back to Sister's. I had bought a gift certificate for my mother back in 2019, and she was too afraid to go to the salon alone. She'd never been to one before. So I went with her. Since then, it's become our bi-weekly, mother-daugter ritual. I remind her to book our appointment while I'm at work, and she sends me the confirmed date and time. Due to mine and my mother's various health and diet issues, there's very little we can go out and do together. But going to Sister's to get our nails painted is something we can both do, and we can do it together! We've become such regulars, they know us by name now, and we always receive a friendly welcome each time we visit. I still maintain that Sister's is the best nail salon in Indy. I went in to have my gels removed and the lady taking care of me got up no less than 8 times to answer the phone or check someone out. I ended up buying acetone on my way home to remove the chunks that were left in my nails. I would have asked her to finish the job but because she was so distracted she was extremely rough on my nails and I just wanted to leave. read more

I called this morning to set an appointment; and was able to get in just a few hours later. I told them I had plans at a certain time, and they accommodated that when setting the appointment - the person I was talking to on the phone even said "let's do this time so you have plenty of time to get to your plans". I saw Ling and she was really kind and pleasant, and did a great job. I got a dip removal and dip manicure, and it came out to be $50 before tip. Overall a wonderful experience! Ping and Maia have done my nails for a while at their previous salon so when I got word that they were going to be going off on their own, I definitely had to check out their new spot! The new spot was super cute, great decor and a nice vibe. The gentleman working at the reception table was fantastic! He was really friendly, offered every client a drink when they walked in and had a smile on his face the entire time. Overall, great customer service experience. Of course I love my nails (per usual with Ping!) and I'll be making my next appointment in about 3 weeks. Side note: if you haven't already tried the dipping powder...DO IT! I saw a friend of mine post a Yelp review about Sister's and she highly praised Ping and her sister Maia so I'd figure I would check her out. I've never had dipping powder so I decided that would be what I get. I made an appointment and when I arrived she was ready for me. Ping had me choose out a nail color that I wanted for my dipping powder then I sat down and got started. She was very helpful in educating me about dipping powder and how long it's been popular. She just opened her shop 2 weeks ago and it looks great, very neat and clean with reasonable prices. Apparently Ping is very popular so be sure to book an appointment. She had me out within an hour. She wanted something a bit complex, so I sent some reference pictures to the salon and they matched her with a tech that would be able to deliver and WOW, let me just say, they have some extremely talented people!
