I have gone here since they opened and have always loved the place, but my last experience was not great. Nails were jagged and uneven. It was clearly rushed considering I had nail polish on my skin. The lighting is very relaxing but I did not even notice how uneven, jagged, and bubbly the polish was until I was on my way home due to it being so dim in there. I had a wedding that evening and didn't have time to go back to ask them to fix it. When the polish came off after 2 weeks, my nails were very brittle and thin to the point where I had to cut them all the way down. I have gotten gel for years and have never had an issue with this. They used a drill to remove the gel that was previously on my nails. I think they may have drilled too much off. The polish stayed on, which was great, but it wasn't worth how the nails looked immediately after the appointment or when I took the gel off. read more

Overpriced and shockingly unprofessional. I visited for a simple color change--something that should be virtually impossible to mess up--and yet the nail technician managed to do just that. He applied three excessively thick layers of polish along with a top coat, leaving my nails looking bulky and unsightly. To make matters worse, he carelessly painted over my cuticles without cleaning up the mess. On my thumb, the polish shifted before curing, resulting in a distorted shape, yet he proceeded as if nothing were wrong. When I politely asked him to correct the mistake, he deflected blame onto me, claiming it was because I didn't want my nails reshaped initially. To top it all off, the check-out experience was equally appalling. When I questioned the exorbitant price for such sloppy work, he responded with outright rudeness. This entire experience was beyond disappointing--poor craftsmanship, terrible customer service, and outrageously high prices. Needless to say, I will never be returning. read more

Bubbling polish on toes and no finishing coat. Did not put feet under a dryer so immediately messed up the polish (and only partially fixed it). I've been on the hunt to try to find a good nail salon where I've relocated. And I think I might've found it. I was able to do a walk in, but it was on a weekday and it's likely a better idea to call ahead to schedule since there were quite a few clients there already. The massage chairs for the pedicures appear newer and gave an ok massage. The store was clean, smelled nice, and the technician Amy was professional and skilled. I'm not one for chit chat wanting to zone out, read, or listen to audio when i get a mani/pedi and she respected that. I love this place. Had a pedicure yesterday and had to rush out before letting my toes dry. When I got home I realized my big toe was smudged. Went in next morning to see if they could touch up. They went over and beyond - not only fixed big toe but touched up all of my nails. Tried to give them money because smudge was my fault but would not take a penny. Owner always present. This is my second time here. Got the most relaxing pedicure. The actual foot massage was amazing. She massaged each of my toes, the wax massage was warm not hot and loved the hot stone on my legs. They go the extra mile for comfort as well as disinfect and wipe down massage chair and bowl after each client. I didn't have an appointment this time but they were able to take me right in. Their pedicures are the best. They are in a dimmed room and don't yell or talk like in a lot of salons around town. It's very relaxing.

I needed an acrylic fill w/gel polish and a pedicure. They were very accommodating as far as scheduling was concerned. Technically the work was adequate. I agree that I wish they had more options for pedicures. I had their most expensive pedicure and it was very mechanical (like, just going through the motions/steps). Not pleased with the way my toenails were cut and curved even though I specifically said I wanted them straight across. I'll find out later if I develop ingrown edges. The music played over their system is soothing but it is like many other salons where the price is low, it is more like a factory...slot in a technician, very little social engagement w/clients, in and out. This is not the vibe I am looking for so I won't be returning. They do seem very busy so perhaps most people like that type of service. read more

I have truly enjoyed going to Chic Nails but unfortunately, I will not be back. I got a pedicure today and was very disappointed with the attitude of one of their techs. I believed she was tired towards the end of my service because when I asked for alcohol on my toes (to rid some of the oil from the hot wax) she proceeded to sigh and sprays the alcohol on my toes and says, "there.. done" and walks off. I had to wipe my own toes with my towel. I enjoyed coming here because of the service, I mean even all the way up to the grabbing of your shoes and lifting the arm rest for you to help get up. I was pretty disappointed with her attitude and don't even care for my toes. read more
