Today, however,was the straw that broke the camels back. The quality of today's experience was so substandard it was almost insulting, NO IT WAS INSULTING. I'm quite certainly not returning! I had him remove the gel disaster but couldn't stay as I had to pick up my dog from the groomers. I left there with my cuticles looking as if I needed a pedicure and bare nailed. This is the good part, they actually CHARGED me for a "pedicure" which I paid, they can consider it a parting gift as I'm done with paying good money for bad service. So, we sit down. Begin the acrylic process...it was normal. However, the end result was not. We showed them PHOTOS. Our nails did not look like the pics we showed them at all. I had a weird shade of pink, with no glitter. My daughter had...well IDK what it was. A sunburst maybe? Definitely not a french tip, and NO cheetah print. I wouldn't have even paid for them, but my daughter gets embarrassed when I "flip" on people. So we paid, and were on our way. Our nails were not shaped well. All 10 nails on both of us-- were crooked, had powder underneath the nails, paint under the tips, both sets were extremely THICK, and my square nails were flared. Her almond nails were super pointed, like cat claws lol. All in all, terrible experience. Especially for my daughter. It was her first time! I will attach pics below. I suppose you can decide if it's worth it yourself. If I were this business owner, I would be ashamed. SMH.

She is a black woman that is new to this salon. I have had hundreds of manicures in my lifetime. I'm always disappointed. Most salons rush to get to the painting. The manicure is rushed and not all that great. The gel is so poorly done that it usually peels off within days. This woman surprised me with a very detailed manicure and pedicure. She knows her stuff. The background music was so relaxing. I was hesitant to do gel because it usually peels off and ruins my nails, but she did am amazing job. I first visited this nail salon in 2025 while I was in town for business. I knew I would be in town today with a colleague, and weeks ago I booked matching appointments online so we could both get a pedicure at the same time. I was happy when I saw that the website had an option for "Group Bookings". I went through each prompt to book the two appointments at the same time. I requested Jamia for my gel pedicure with removal, and my colleague was happy to have any artist and wanted a different type of pedicure. When we entered the business and spoke to the receptionist (did not get her name), she told me that the appointments were not booked at the same time but were instead booked back-to-back. I showed her the confirmation email showing it stated the appointments at 3:30pm with two artists scheduled for the two services requested. She said, "Oh, people do that all the time but really just want one appointment for themselves." This made no sense. I explained I went through each prompt on the website and specifically selected two services for two different people. It didn't matter. The receptionist didn't care. During our conversation, I asked if she thought I had booked two appointments for myself; why didn't anyone contact me to confirm? She said, " Well, that's not my job to do that." She essentially said we could wait and do the appointments back-to-back, or we could leave, and she would cancel. The lack of empathy and attitude about the entire thing was rude and unprofessional. When my colleague and I sat down in their waiting chairs, there was trash: an empty water bottle and another that was left half full. Another immediate turnoff and lack of care from the staff. When it was finally time for my pedicure, Jamia got set up. For the entire appointment, she had two earpieces in, and multiple times she changed the music she was listening to on her phone. I know that you offer a 'silent appointment,' and I did not select this option. A positive: Jamia gave a great massage, and I do like the color she helped me pick. The management needs to pay more attention to this location. As someone who works in customer service, I find that your staff lacks basic care and customer service. The manicure was very clean and precise, and the nail polish application was absolutely perfect. You can really tell he pays attention to every detail. I scheduled the following: - Saturday 2/6/26 - full tap gel x set on at 1:30 with Kate. - Friday 2/20 - replacement right thumb with Alex (free of charge!) - Wednesday 2/26 - further replacement for left pointer nail. I decided to say to heck with it and just get everything redone. $60+ later, I get home Wednesday evening and noticed my left thumb was already cracked. -Saturday 2/28 - went back at 6:15pm to repair( they close at 7 according to online and their door signs) doors were locked. - Saturday 3/7 - (they're closed sundays and I work during the week), I called to get my thumb nail repaired from my 2/26 visit. I wanted to call first to make sure someone would be available and avoid last weeks' situation. No answer. Called 3x periodically. Keep in mind, I am not doing any hard labor etc. the tap gel x is supposed to last several weeks so it's frustrating that I've had to go back 4x in a single month with the amount of $ spent. Thinking it was a fluke, I wanted to give them another shot but I'm taking my business elsewhere.
