Gel manicure looks sloppy and gloopy (spread everywhere) I feel like I wasted 43 bucks

This is hands down the best salon I've been to. It's clean and it also doesn't feel so cramped like most other salons do. When you get your hands done, they sit you at almost a "bar" like counter so that you're not cramped. The furniture around the bar has definitely seen better days, but I still love that it's different than any other place. The pedicure chairs are amazing and clean! I got a dip manicure for my wedding and it was great! My only issue was that about 4 days after my nails started to yellow really bad around the edges. This only happened on my right hand, so I'm wondering if it didn't get left in the UV light long enough or maybe for too long. I thought it was weird that it happened to only one hand. Regardless, the color turned out just as expected and everything was reasonably priced. I also got my toes done in a gel polish and they lasted for about 6 weeks. I ended up taking them off because of growth rather than chipping. I highly recommend this place! read more

Walked in with no appointment. I waiting maybe 10 before the service. I was just getting a pedicure. The nail tech didn't say much but that's fine. I saw a sign that said they offered wine but I was never offered it. I didn't bother to inquire about it. I was in the area looking to waste time while my sons were on the football field. So it was convenient! My pedicure was nice. She got a lot of polish on my skin that she attempted to remove. They do charge a fee for using your credit card. I got the basic pedicure and it was fine. I used to really enjoy coming here, but unfortunately, my last two visits have been disappointing. During my most recent appointment, I specifically requested that the technician not grind my nails, yet he insisted on doing it anyway despite my clear refusal. He kept saying it was necessary for the gel to last, but I've had gel nails done many times elsewhere without any grinding, and they lasted perfectly fine. To make matters worse, while my husband was getting a pedicure, the technician tried to discuss my nail choices with him. I don't rely on my husband to make decisions about how I want my nails done, and I found this quite disrespectful. Overall, I'm really disappointed with the lack of respect for my preferences and boundaries. read more

This is my absolute favorite nail salon! I go every two weeks to get a pedi and a fill for my acrylics. Everyone there is so good at pedis, I don't ever request someone specific for a pedi. They also have so many options for types of pedis you can get and I really like the orange one. My nails always look amazing when I leave too! I generally ask if T is free when I am there getting my nails done. She gets the shape perfect for what I want. You also can drink wine while getting your nails done! I adored this place so much that even though I now live in Indianapolis, I drove here to have my nails and toes done as a birthday present to myself...something I used to do biweekly and haven't been able to for some time. Believe ME THE CUSTOMER is NEVER RIGHT! I asked for powdered purple tips and after she fully powdered two of my nails completely purple, I stopped her and stated that I just wanted the tips. I've had them done this way a hundred times before using powder and by the same person, but apparently because I haven't gotten my nails done in so long I forgot to specifically say "ombré" she took it upon herself to give me a horrid painted purple I guess "French" while running her mouth so at this point I just shut up! Now let's talk about the pedicure. Not only was I never asked what kind I wanted, he cut all of the nails off of one side very quickly before asking if I wanted them shorter. I had a split nail and asked 5 times for tips on my big toes, which I didn't get, instead he spent a full hour putting an overlay he couldn't seem to get right. Didn't remove not one callus and my toe is bleeding and swollen! Then it's time to pay, did this manager seriously just give me a measly 20% off for ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING going wrong?! They lost a 6 year customer and I absolutely refuse to ever return! read more

I had a Uber rider get dropped off here when I was already about to clock out for a break. Come to find out this was their shop! I live across the street and since I was about to take a break anyway I said let me go ahead and give these hard working feet some attention today. I grabbed my flip flops and some breakfast next door. Got there and guess what...They offer wine! Great customer service. Best foot rub I've had in a long while. Be careful when spending your money here! I had been going here on and off for about a year. This last time was the worst. I tried this place because the location looked nice. Such a mistake. I told the nail tech right away that two of my toes have stitches with band aids on them and to please not touch them. That should a be pretty straight forward request. She not only sprayed them with alcohol but tried massaging the clearly covered up toes on accident, I wanted to cry. My fill in was sloppy and she missed painting parts of my nails. Very disappointing I simply will not return. read more

Overall I am not satisfied with the service I got today. My nail tech was nice but I found it hard to relax. Also I got the pearl pedicure but I think I was given the citrus pedicure based on the color of the scrubs used? Also the manicure was done at my pedicure chair which I did not like. I wanted a full mani pedi experience. I'm sorry but for 92 dollars I should have gotten better service and/or what I said I wanted. I also found the nail salon quite dirty. At one point he used a buffer with hairs on it!!!! I'm pretty sure it was my hair but he didn't even try to take them off until later and they were LONG hairs. I am giving them five stars because they stand behind their 1 week warranty and fixed my nails. I feel like the service is hit and miss and it depends upon who does your nails. Few weeks ago a guy( I think his name was David) did my nails in a rush, didn't give me enough time to pick my nail polish color and told me that other people have an appt so I have to hurry. It was afternoon and they didn't look that busy. He messed up shape of my nails and painted over my skin. I even questioned him if he knew what he was doing? When I complained to him he said that he was tired and up all night. I paid $37 plus $5 tip because I kind of felt I had to for getting my nails done. 5 days after getting them done my nail polish started to peel off from all of my fingernails. I went back and they fixed it for me. This time Chi was the one who did my nails, I didn't remember the name of the polish I had on previously, so she let me pick a new color. She was very good, looked professional and was very nice. I was happy with my nails. Leena has done my nails in the past and she is very good as well. I will go back and specifically ask for Chi or Lena. read more

Never thought I would have to do this :( Got a dip mani and it was horrible. So thick and boxy. I called later and asked if they could fix it. Totally fine, I get not everything is your best work and i'm a very understanding person. They were happy to fix them the next morning. I went in just asking to take them off and get a gel mani. I was willing to pay because I was asking for a whole new set. Zoe started to file them down but not take them off. I asked again to take them off and she still didn't. She was upset that I asked that and her mood totally changed. Please when someone asks you to do something with their nails, do it. I ended up just leaving and going to another salon to get them off. every time i come here, it is very nice and calm. my nails look okay, but i only asked for a gel manicure with chrome. the pictures online say it is 37 dollars, but i was charged 65 dollars. Chrome should not be a nearly 20 dollar up charge. It was ridiculous and I will not be coming back. Edit: Went back into the store to ask why I was up charged so much, seeing that i paid 28 dollars extra. They charge 18 DOLLARS FOR A CHROME POWDER TOP! They cost less than 5 dollars for a whole bottle on amazon, and less than 2 minutes to apply. This is fraudulent. My review went from 3 stars to 1 and I will be contacting my bank about a fraudulent charge (especially since you still charged me an extra 10 dollars for fun) read more

I had an appointment, told them while making the appointment that I wanted a full set of nails and a pedicure. Came at the time agreed and showed a picture of what I wanted. First they didn't have the color. Then the design I asked for (French tip with a little design) did not look good at all after they finished. Proceed to try and do regular French tip which came out way too bulky and thick. The nails are misshapen and not even the design I requested. I asked about my pedicure after my nails were done to which they told me "we're closed". Needless to say I won't be coming back here ever again. read more

I'm usually in and out fairly quickly which is always a plus in my book! They carry a wide variety of colors and brands and offer several different techniques for nails. Stopped in here today without an appointment and was able to get in right away. Atmosphere is one of the best in the area and is sleek and modern. They have endless color choices and a lotion bar so you can pick out which scent you would like. The woman who did my nails was very friendly and did a great job. I was also really surprised with how great the hand massage was. Most places just put a little lotion on for ten seconds and call it a day, whereas this place gave an actual hand massage with hot towels. I'll definitely be back! read more

The atmosphere was funky and the chandeliers were cool however the chairs were worn in and the floors looked like they needed moped. Now to the part that matters most, my nails... not impressed is the phrase i would use. she did a great job getting all the dead skin however i could tell she got impatient and started rushing through. i chose a bold color and she didn't paint the whole nail, i understand it's difficult getting the sides but it looks tacky like it wasn't done all the way. there are also bubbles under the color as well so it's not a smooth looking nail. i love the shape and the color just not the application of the color. and all for 50$ including a crappy tip because i couldn't not give her a little. not worth it. read more

They do not honor their appointment times. Like every other nail place in Indiana, they do not honor your appointment time and will make you wait an hour. I'm ready to drive to Chicago where nail salons actually care when you make an appointment. An afternoon wasted thinking I'd be able to get a pedicure and I cannot because I have a tight schedule and can't sit around all afternoon and wait. I understand everywhere is short staffed , but the business needs to plan for that instead of falsely advertising you have a confirmed appointment time. I just took an hour out of my day to drive there and back, not to mention wasting precious gas money for no service. read more

Alright y'all know how hard it is to find a nail salon you love. This place is the bees knees! No really!! I love the feel of the place. It's designed a little differently than your typical salon. The pedi chairs are all along the outer walls and the nail bar is in a horseshoe shape around the center. The selection of colors, finishes, and options is unmatched by any other place. The folks are always friendly. And my nails are always perfect. There was one trip that the color under the salon lights was very different than the color it looked in natural light. I sat with the color for a few hours but still wasn't happy. I went back the same afternoon and they changed the color at no cost. I've had their hangover pedi as well which was incredibly relaxing. Have had wonderful experiences here. Lots of parking, prices comparable to other Hamilton County salons, and a HUGE choice of colors for both get and dip. There are a LOT of nail salons around the north side and this one just let me down. My daughter and I came here on a Tuesday looking to get matching pedicures. We were not greeted so we sat and waited for about 20 minutes before anyone addressed us. At that time they said it'll be 30 minutes. The only reason we waited is because we'd already been to two other locations that were full. I'd promised her matching Frozen II pedicures before going to see the movie so there was no backing out. Once we got in the chairs with the nice warm water we were so excited! We sat there for another 25 minutes before they came to do our pedicures. That's an insane amount of time for decent pedicures that were more expensive than most places. We'll stick with Mi Nails from now on. read more

The inside is dark, and not inviting at all. The color selection is horrible and swatches don't exist so how can I see they way it dries? It's so dark inside. So I brought my own sparkles but they were applied carelessly. My natural was coffin shaped and I wanted the same shape & cici made them square. The polish was not neat and clean, I felt rushed. I asked for mani and pedi but was ushered to check out after my manicure in spite of having an appointment. I didn't want to wait any longer for a pedicure or even risk having my toes messed up. Great work and friendly! My go to nail spot. I have my favorite technitions but have never been disappointed with the quality from anyone who has provided a mani or pedi. I typically get a powder dip manicure which lasts longer than gel (much longer than just polish) and is healthier than acrylic. It's always lasted as long as I can go with how long my nails have grown. Polish still looked perfect after 4 weeks at one point. The hang over pedicure is my go to. I love the massages and normal polish lasts as long as needed on the toes. If you're looking for a relaxing time or catching up with your friend, ask for a nice glass of wine, sit back & enjoy the massage chairs and great music! read more
