It seems like mixed reviews so I decided to try the salon out. I am in town for business and it is always risky to try a new salon. This was a great experience, very nice when I walked in and helpful. I had an acrylic fill with shellac polish. I tried the cat eye and my nails look great. It's ridiculously amazing for the price because me and my friend both got full sets including a shape (coffin) and the total was only $64!! Worst pedicure ever!!! The lady cut my toenails so far down it will take them months for them to grow out and look decent. She snipped by little toe and it was bleeding she didn't say anything. She thinned the nail polish too much and kept putting on coat after coat. All I ended up with was short smudged nails. read more

I went here for years and just within the last year and a half there are new owners, owners which are not very friendly. The men that work here flirt with young girls and talk to them in inappropriate manners. I got my eyebrows waxed and the wax killed the bulbs of my eyebrows. I had to order product to get them to grow back. They don't listen to what you ask for either, they do what they want. read more

I feel this place is where you go to when you are rushing and dont give a fuck about your nails. lucy is the only one that do half decent nails. The rest can't even paint your real nails right they would leave spots on it till you say something. They rush when they see someone walk in and you're bold if you get a light regular color the top coat change colors. This business should not even be in operation. I have never been so poorly treated by a group of employees, including the manager and owner. As the nail technician filed my nails, i pointed out that she was not doing a good job making them even, to which she muttered something nasty in Korean under her breath. I was there for a gel manicure, and was told to pick a color, which I did. The color that came out was much brighter and less professional than the color I had chosen. When I complained, they did not offer to fix the color, as they should have. Instead, I was told it was MY FAULT for having chosen that color. When I told them that the color that was on my nails was much different than the color on the display, they said it was not their problem and that they were not responsible for fixing it. We physically compared the color on my nails to the color on the display, and while they acknowledged the colors were very different, they refused to take responsibility or fix it.They actually refused to take off the nail color unless I paid for the full manicure. I refused to do so, and I left with wet nails ON MY WAY TO A JOB INTERVIEW. From here, the situation escalated, with them name calling and swearing at me for refusing to pay. These people are money hungry people who have not the slightest idea of what professionalism looks like. They do not take pride in their work or care if you are happy with the results. I will never be back to that salon, and I strongly recommend going to nearby Andy's Nails on Rockville Road. They are much more professional, friendly, and take care in their work. The prices are identical, and in some cases cheaper. read more

STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE, YOUR TOES WILL GET SICK!! Tammy did my nails a few times a year and never once has this place been cleaned. Tammy was nice but the guy(think Tammy's husband) was super rude. Especially to Black and Hispanic women. Before a service a lady told him that her cuticles were sensitive(she said it nice and was only informing him) and he yelled at her that he knew what he was doing and not to tell him what to do!! He was totally mean to her. He was so loud that everyone stopped and looked. This lady was embarrassed but said she had a function and didn't have a choice other than to get her nails done here. I noticed during my time in there over the years that he only seemed to be rude to Blacks, Hispanics and Latinos. He didn't get a chance to be nasty to me because I only dealt with Tammy. While I was getting my first and last pedicure from this place, is when he was yelling at the woman about her cuticles, it was at that point that I decided that I would die before spending another $ in a place where people in the community were disrespected and filth was allowed. Funny thing is after this pedicure...I GOT A TOE FUNGUS!!! Do yourself a favor and don't bother. If businesses can't treat the community they serve with respect...force them to do right or force them out! And FYI...I was forced to give a star, this place doesn't deserves any stars! read more
