I recommend getting an appointment before you go, but you can almost always make one for the same day or next day. Confession -- I waited almost an entire year after moving away from the northern Indy/Carmel area to review this place because I could almost always get a same day appointment with Eric and I didn't want to ruin it. First time here, looking for a new place and close to home. They were Not busy but had to still had to wait. Pedicure was done in 20 minutes. Apparently quality isn't their motto, nor is cleanliness. You can see water spots on the tub from the previous customer, and the pumice stone had clearly been used on others. I'm not sure how clean their tools are after seeing this. Why can't they see the dead skin, or maybe they did and still left it there? Save yourself some time, there are many other nails salons around, and at a dime a dozen there must be another place that prioritizes cleanliness and quality service. read more

The thing I love about this place is its a mom n pop and you do not feel rushed. Great services in a clean environment.

I forget his name but the gentleman which is also the owner was amazing ...this is my first time here and I received a full set of acrylic nails if you do acrylic nails you know how hard it is to find a place that does them well he did an amazing job and their prices are really reasonable for a full set almond-shaped (most places charge extra for this shape) gel polish it was $40+tip ....I was in and out within 45 minutes... I'm so happy I found this spot after having so many bad experiences at different salons recently this has been a breath of fresh air.. He was super nice and funny .... and this man works 7 days a week!!!! read more

Their hospitality was awesome but the nails I got just wasn't what I wanted. They were $30 but they normally would cost $45, I don't know if he maybe thought that the outcome of these nails were bad like I did but my middle nail is also crooked. I also asked for almond shape and the shape of the nails are like ovals. read more

Dirty. The tools came out of the tech's drawer not the autoclave and were clearly used, visibly dirty. The tech talked on her phone the whole time. My nails weren't even dry and I got kicked out. The owner grabbed my keys and purse without asking and had me cash out for another client to instantly take my seat. We were the only 2 clients so there was no need to have me leave with wet nails. Eric and Hannah are great! I usually have appointments for which they are always ready for me. They are also very forgiving when I cancel, even at late notice! I go every two weeks for pink and white gel nails. Eric knows how to do it to make it last. The pedicures are highly recommended. Great place to get pedicures with a friend. Prices are competitive. I moved to Carmel about 1 year ago and have tried a few other nail salons, but Eric is the best! I haven't gone anywhere new since coming to Hannah Nails. I've had acrylics on for 5 years so I feel like I have a good sense of what is done well and what isn't. Eric is very quick, but never sacrifices the quality. He always makes my nails look great! I have never been so un satisfied with a nail salon. I asked for coffin shape nails and that's no where near what I got. After many times telling him (Erik) they were un even, not the same shape, too short, bumps in the acrylic and etc. after sitting there for 2 hours I needed to leave for an appointment. I came back an hour later asking kindly for my money back. And automatically was treated awful. Very defensive, disrespectful and just flat out rude. Said if they gave me my money back they would cut off my nails. Then they said they would not give me my money and they were going to call the police. After arguing for 15 minutes they finally gave me 50% back. It wasn't even worth the 20 dollars. My nails have never ever been this bad. Worst place and worst service. read more

Also mid way through the polish a women walked in she must have been a regular because he went to talked to her. I was a little underwhelmed with my experience here, and there were a couple of negatives. The first was that my pedicure water was quite cold, and when I asked for it to be warmed up, no one responded to me. I asked again (they were tending to the woman next to me at the time), and the woman nodded but then never adjusted it. The second was that a woman walked in and asked for a mani, and an employee said- "Busy! Come back later!" Now, this didn't affect me personally, but I thought to myself...that woman is definitely not coming back later. I don't think he meant to be rude, but that was my impression. The paint job itself was good and has lasted a while for both my mani & pedi, but with so many options close by, I would likely go elsewhere next time. read more

The staff is great and it's an overall nice salon but the fact that my gel manicure is peeling the morning after it was done is a little bit alarming. I will give them a try again hoping it was just a fluke but overall not very satisfied! When it comes to waxing though they are top notch! The staff is great, and I think it is a hidden gem on Main st. The prices are very reasonable and I recommend this place to everyone. Only word of warning is that you must have cash for tip as they cannot accept tips added on a card purchase. While they do take appointments, I always walk in and have never had to wait for service. I previously had acrylic nails put on by another salon in Carmel. I had gone there a couple times before I found Hannah Nails. Being it was closer, I decided to try it out. When he went to fill in my acrylics, he realized they had done my nails completely wrong and he peeled them right off. (which is NOT supposed to happen with acrylics) He put a new set on and they look so much nicer than the set I received from the other salon. They have definitely won my business!! read more

Extremely disappointed in my experience today!!The nail tech today I believe was new but she was extremely in a hurry!! Did not cut nail straight so when it grows out will have ingrown nail that is not the issue. She was so much in a hurry and they weren't busy she was cutting a nail and took a huge chunk of skin out of the toe next to it with the clippers!!! I didn't continue with the service because it is bleeding and want to avoid infection. Now I have a throbbing toe and no pedi. My daughter had a great pedi and mani. Will reconsider my choices in the future. Now to get shoes on for work will be a challenge. I hope it heals quickly. I hope you have a better experience! read more

I had an appointment, and the technician was running 20 mins behind. Which I get it, that happens. But when I sat down and said I wanted to change my nail color, he threw his hands up and actually told me to "hurry up." I could not believe how rude he was. If I had not needed my nails done that day for an event, I would have just walked out. Oh and he charged me $5 more than I was quoted on the phone.
