I recently had replacement surgery on my left hip that left me unable to reach my left foot and trim my nails. So, I let my fellow YELPERS lead me to the best nail salon in my area and here's where I ended up. This place was great. I didn't have an appointment, but they were able to fit me in after a five minute wait. All I needed was just a nail trim on my left foot and Kelly, my nail technician, did a wonderful service for me. This was my first ever visit to a nail salon and I have to say I was quite impressed. The facility was clean, well kept, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was in and out in 10 minutes and my nails look wonderful. Okay, let me first say this was the best pedicure I've ever had!!!!! Second, they give you a paper to mark your services, your name, and your color!!! Which is HUGE, because if you're anything like me you forget your number at least 100 times. This saves the confusion. Plus, you don't have to keep repeating your color number or the services you want. Then when you go to pay you just tell them your name. Third, the environment is SO calming. They had spa like music playing and the aesthetic was cute and clean. The pedi chairs aren't massage chairs, but they are huge cushiony chairs and the service made up for it! This new nail shop in Westfield is super cute! I called because I wanted help getting previous dip polish off my nails so I could start fresh. They said that since I wasn't getting a full manicure, I could stop by anytime for the service. I stopped in on a weekday morning and they helped me immediately. They took off the polish, then cut and trimmed my nails for only $12. Totally worth it and super cheap considering I was still there for about 30 minutes. I really like the wall of nail colors they have when you walk in, as well as the hanging light fixtures. The pedicure stations are chairs that don't swivel with foot baths in front of them, so they looked hard to get into. I'd definitely return in the future though! read more

The space is decorated in a modern and relaxing way. On my first visit, I got the luxury pedicure. Vicki was AMAZING! She did a fantastic job and I loved the paraffin treatment with (what I thought) was just a nice scented candle. Everything was very clean and tidy. I really enjoyed being able to book online and was pleasantly surprised that I was immediately emailed a discount coupon after my first visit. I quickly booked a gel manicure for the following week. The lady that did my manicure was very good and my nails looked great. However, one nail was pulling away by that evening and the rest started to do the same within days. Located off 146th street in Westfield is the sweetest nail shop there ever was. They really put the posh in posh polish. The space is so welcoming and open. The chairs aren't those giant black salon chairs with the massage option that doesn't work half the time. They are modern yet comfortable chairs. During my most recent visit, they had soothing music on while the Great British Baking show played on mute and it was just a dream come true setup. To top it off they offer beverage options including sparkling wine. I am an OG client of Posh Polish having my first appointment when they opened back in February. They have provided excellent service and in their work. They really take their time to do a fabulous job. That said, an appointment is a must because the word is out! Bad business practice, the type that makes you rethink humanity. I was cut pretty bad, bleeding profusely during the entire process, nothing could stop the bleeding and I know I should've walked out but the nail tech was sorry (I assume) so I continued . As she kept applying polish, I still kept bleeding so they put a bandaid on. She continued on the finger with the bandaid and kept pulling it back to paint it, the problem was she pulled it back in a direction that opened up the cut even more and I kept saying ow. So now it's bleeding even more. At this point I said I don't want this if blood is going to be trapped under my polish. Oh no it won't I did this and that. Yea sure, ok. I'm home and I see blood stuck under the clear coat. I should say I got a French tip and not a solid color that would cover it. Anyhow, normal business practice would have shaved the price and or even not charge. But don't worry! You get a gift card ($10) for the NEXT visit! Now why would I ever come back here when you showed me no good faith the first time around. Another thing I noticed is normally their license (name and date of certification) should be within eye view of the customer. Are they even licensed? Only place in greater Indianapolis I will go to get my nails done. Firstly, I must sing my praises to Jack, who works the front desk. He is also extremely kind and friendly, making each visit pleasantly memorable. Posh has amazing serving accompanied by a luxe atmosphere, plus they splurge to have Netflix on the TVs instead of just cable, so if you looking to catch up on Bake Off this is the perfect way to multi task. My favorite techs are Candy, Dee, and Cathy. They are quick, but always maintain a high standard to produce a top quality manicure. I've never been disappointed leaving Posh and couldn't recommend it more! read more

What a lovely experience. Truly. I stopped in attempting to walk in for a pedicure and was asked to schedule an appointment for later in the day. They are only taking appointments right now, so know that going in! I live nearby and I had an open day, so I scheduled an appointment for a couple of hours later. Upon my return, I was promptly greeted and welcomed. I was shown how to choose my color from their wall of colors, and asked if I'd like something to drink. The shop is clean and tidy, with pedicure stations on the perimeter of the shop with manicure stations in the middle. Comfortable plush chairs replace the typical nail salon massage chairs (which is honestly fine by me). Nina gave me my pedicure, and it may have been the best pedicure experience I've had. Not only are my nails perfectly painted, but it wasn't rushed. It's been a crazy week and taking a breather for a little pampering was just what I needed. I will definitely be back! read more

I got a full set of gel x nails after the nail lady told me it would hold better on my short nails. However, this was not the case in the slightest. While the employee herself who did the nails was friendly enough she did not give me the design I asked for. After three days of having the nails on five had broken off which you would think wouldn't be the case for 105 dollar nails. When telling the salon about my nails they offered to redo them for free, but the nails were rushed and were unevenly shaped. Within a week of having the new nails the paint had already chipped. I had a deal for a pedicure and dip mani from Facebook so I booked an appointment. I was very early and they were busy, but they checked me in and explained the nail wall and the choices. I like that you write down what colors you want and then they confirm them with you. So many color options. It took me forever to pick my dip color! This place is very large! Pedi stations set up around perimeter and mani bar in middle. My pedi was done by PY and she did a great job. There was a candle burning and she poured it on my legs to rub into them. She did warn me first that it was just warm. It was very relaxing! I was then moved over to the mani bar and Jennifer did my dip. She was very thorough and did a good job. She did talk to her coworker the entire time and also didn't have me wash my hands before she rubbed lotion on them so it basically just rubbed all the loose dip powder around. The first time I went to this salon a few weeks ago, I had an amazing pedicure and gel manicure. I don't remember the ladies name, but she was friendly and did a fantastic job on my nails. My gel manicure did not peel at all in 3 weeks. Other than my nails growing out, the polish was still in perfect condition. I decided to go back because I had such an amazing experience the first time. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience again. Acetone was put on my nails to remove the previous gel, but it was left on for an hour while I got my pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure did a great job, no complaints. Then I was shifted back to the manicure station and I assumed my gel manicure was going to be done by the same lady who did my pedicure, but it wasn't. They have one man who works there (or at least he was the only man working that day), and he sat down to do my manicure. He didn't have any of his own tools, and I should have known right then he didn't know what he was doing. I asked him to file my nails a certain shape, and it took him 3 attempts to get close to the shape, but I stopped correcting him by that time because he was filing so badly that was skin was becoming raw. I should have stopped and requested someone else, but I have social anxiety, don't like confrontation, and am a people pleasure. By the time he finished filing all my nails (I had been growing my nails out for 2 months to get them a certain shape), they were different lengths, the edges were uneven and I had cuts from the rough filing on 3 of my fingers. He was so slow with the polish application, the application was so uneven and inconsistent in opaqueness. I was so annoyed with myself for not speaking up. I just paid and left. Over the next 4 days, every single one of my nails has broken! Not just broken, but broken so far down the nail bed, that it is painful. The way he filed my nails was so rough and irregular, he weakened them severely. My nails have never broken after a gel manicure until it's almost time to get it redone. This was within 4 days of getting it done! Will I go back? I haven't decided yet, but if I do, I definitely will not get my nails done by him again. read more

This was the best pedicure I've had in a very long time. The hot candle massage was incredible, and lasted so long. Most nail salons *might* massage for 2 minutes, if you're lucky. Normally I am happy with my nails at posh polis but I haven't been lately. The last two times I've gotten gel, it has chipped/peeled within a day. Also, I went the other day and the woman who did my nails was very harsh. She even cut me and glued the skin together with the nail glue to keep it from bleeding. read more
