I have been going here since before the pandemic. Tommy and Hannah are amazing and there is nowhere else I would go for my nails.

I don't think I have ever done a yelp review but this place deserves one. I live 20 mins away and have heard great things about Crystal Nails. I happened to be on their side of town so I stopped in this morning just after opening to get a fill w/gel polish and was able to get in fairly quickly. Let me tell you, this is the best my nails have looked since moving to Indiana 5 years ago. The lady who did my nails gave me the exact look, shape and color I wanted. Flawless! This is in response to Diamond V's review. I was the customer in the chair when the owner called to let you know he could take you earlier and asked if you wanted to come in early. He NEVER said anything about canceling your appt. You totally misunderstood his call. I've been going to this nail salon for 20 plus years. They call people when they have extra time if you want or can come earlier. It's always your choice. They do great work and I have never left there disappointed. Their prices are current with other salons. They really care about their work and clients. I went back today to get a pedicure. Still the best experience. Hannah asked my if I wanted my Nails cut or just shaped and if the water temp was ok. I had a whole hot stone pedicure that was affordable af. I always do my own feet because I'm super ticklish but this was such a relaxing experience I couldn't ask for anything better. This place was a recommendation from someone my boyfriend works with. Today was my first visit, and I must say I'm quite pleased! I called to schedule an appointment for 2-2:30. The lady who answered the phone (Hannah) was upfront and honest and said they'd be busy at that time, and asked I could come sooner. I arrived around 1:20-1:25. Tommy was very nice, and started the process of taking my powder dip off. While discussing what I wanted, it turned out he didn't have it. He said he would order though so that made me very happy. He was conversational, but not too much. Which I personally like. He was personable and nice. Made me feel very comfortable. I had my dip taken off, new put on, filed and polished all within an hour. I was pleasantly surprised. They look absolutely beautiful! I will continue to come back to give a fair rating, but today was definitely great and I will be back! read more

I don't go any where else to get my nails done! Highly recommend this place! I have never left disappointed. I get gel on my natural nails, & have not been able to find any other salons that will file my nails to a point without trying to force me to get acrylics, except Crystal Nails! The prices are great too! Just $23 for gel. I noticed other reviews complaining about wait time. I always call early in the morning & make a same day appointment. I've never waited longer than 15 minutes after said appointment time. It honestly doesn't bother me to wait a little longer for such great service. From what I gathered, it's a just couple who own the salon. There aren't other employees, so it's just 2 people the whole time. They're obviously busy & in high demand b/c they are GOOD at what they do. They do walk ins if they aren't busy, but people call & make appointments which i don't think the walk ins realize. Maybe that's why they are unsatisfied. I also noticed complaints about them speaking in their own language and that offending people. THAT'S RIDICULOUS. If you spoke another language why would you not use it? That shouldn't offend anyone! I wouldn't take that personally. I think they are great! The lady is really sweet & does a wonderful job. I was recently referred by my bestfriend who has been going to crystal nails for 5 years. I called when I was on my way there I was in a rush and they got me right in the owners took care of me. The salon is very upscale now the decor, very clean & the nail techs treated me so good. My nails have never looked as good as they did when I left this spot. I get the acrylic gel usually & this was the first time ever that my nails were the perfect shape & thin not chunky. I was in and out in 45 mins which is perfect bc I could tell they didn't rush me but I hate sitting still so I was happy it was all done In a timely manner. I've been at salons for 2 hours just for a fill in. This spot is awesome. Great location for me -- to/from work and the gym. I've been here often, but the level of service has decreased; the quality of the mani/pedi has stayed the same -- very good. My 3-star rating is driven from the wait time when I've made an appointment weeks in advance. I should not have a 30-minute wait just because the person prior to me added a service. Secondly, I find it quite annoying and a bit rude that the technicians speak often to each other in their native language, and at times is feels like they're talking about me or the other customers. Maybe not, but when in the USA, how about talking in English -- and maybe try engaging customers in a brief conversation. I'm not "one of those" who want to talk throughout the entire services, but a brief one would be nice. Instead....I find myself staring at the TV. I'm going to look for another nail place -- with a good location, but more courteous service. I know some friends who go elsewhere where they're offered coffee/tea/water and some who offer a glass of wine. read more

This is the best nail salon I have been to in Indianapolis. I'm in marketing so upkeep is a priority. My color and nails last longer then they ever have. I have gotten so many compliments on my nails from frequent goers to establishment like this. They pay attention to details and they never rush though to get to the next client. THE ABSOLUTE BEST SALON EVER!!!! I get my nails (acrylic), feet and eyebrows done here and I have been for quite a while and I will NEVER make the mistake of going anywhere else ever again!!! The staff are always nice, pleasant and funny and they are always up to date on what is hot and poppin in the nail game! They NEVER let me leave here looking crazy! To top it off they are extremely affordable! I have never had one bad experience here. I have been going to crystal nails for about 5 or 6 years now! I have also been getting my nails done since high school and I am now in my 30s; so over the years I encountered many different nail salons, even in different states, and countries! This is the only place I have stuck with; my acrylics dont peel, polish doesnt chip, and they really do the best overall job, quickly too! Anyone who has given them bad ratings doesnt realize this place is so busy it is pretty much by appointment only; so, they probably were turned down because of total bookings for the day. The only reason they ever may seem rude is because they are super busy, in a hurry, not actually being rude and just trying to get their job done, wanting to pay attention to the client they have on hand, trying to be quick answering all your stupid questions while you 'ugh' 'well now what?!' etc. I have seen more people be annoyed and rude to the nail techs because they just see a customer or two waiting and not understanding why the nail techs cant take them after- because they are booked with apts!! So people assume the business owners are rude or snooty..... This place would never turn down business, be blantantly rude, or discriminately select customers! It just made me upset seeing people giving them bad ratings because they couldnt fit you into their busy schedule: after all it is only 2 to 3 of the same nail techs working everyday... family owned busines; man, his wife, and his wife's sister. So anyone who gave negative reviews- maybe you should have checked your attitude at the door and realized this just isnt your average nail salon like you see everywhere!!! Also, you should never rate a business before you actually receive their services: its as bad manners as critiquing a restaraunt without even trying the food! A lot of us have been coming here for years and enjoy our time getting to tall with, joke around and be at such a wonderful business. ----not saying this is some sort of exclussive club, members only- lol!
