Nice enough. The pedicures are good but I feel like my cuticles were ravaged after my latest mani. I've had hang nails for the last two weeks and the ends of the white polish on my French tips started looking burned a few hours after they were done. Service and quality were so much better when they first opened. Now it just feels kinda hurried and like they don't have enough people for the number of customers they have. Currently looking for a new salon. read more

I have been going to crystal nails for about 5 or 6 years now! I have also been getting my nails done since high school and I am now in my 30s; so over the years I encountered many different nail salons, even in different states, and countries! This is the only place I have stuck with; my acrylics dont peel, polish doesnt chip, and they really do the best overall job, quickly too! Anyone who has given them bad ratings doesnt realize this place is so busy it is pretty much by appointment only; so, they probably were turned down because of total bookings for the day. The only reason they ever may seem rude is because they are super busy, in a hurry, not actually being rude and just trying to get their job done, wanting to pay attention to the client they have on hand, trying to be quick answering all your stupid questions while you 'ugh' 'well now what?!' etc. I have seen more people be annoyed and rude to the nail techs because they just see a customer or two waiting and not understanding why the nail techs cant take them after- because they are booked with apts!! So people assume the business owners are rude or snooty..... This place would never turn down business, be blantantly rude, or discriminately select customers! It just made me upset seeing people giving them bad ratings because they couldnt fit you into their busy schedule: after all it is only 2 to 3 of the same nail techs working everyday... family owned busines; man, his wife, and his wife's sister. So anyone who gave negative reviews- maybe you should have checked your attitude at the door and realized this just isnt your average nail salon like you see everywhere!!! Also, you should never rate a business before you actually receive their services: its as bad manners as critiquing a restaraunt without even trying the food! A lot of us have been coming here for years and enjoy our time getting to tall with, joke around and be at such a wonderful business. ----not saying this is some sort of exclussive club, members only- lol! The more the merrier, just please make an appointment like we all do; this respects the business owner's time, the other clients, and just helps this great business thrive! As most people know: its hard to find your perfect hair stylist, your perfect jeans and your perfect nail salon!! Thanks! read more

This establishment doesn't even deserve one star. My natural nails are a complete and utter mess. They're so painful and will take a long time to repair theirselves. This lady who did my nails filed the shit out of my fingernail until the point where they burned, I kept telling her it hurt. They did not listen to me about the length I wanted and they made the nails SOOOO thin. Within 24 hours my pinky nail had completely broken off. Two days later the tips of my pointer and thumb had broken off. After a week of having the remaining ones on I had to get them off. I've been trying for days and some just refuse. I got part of my ring finger off today and noticed a big cut and bruises under my nails from the lady, and taking it off took off half of my real nail. This place is a hell hole, I do not recommend to ANYONE. read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! I have been coming here for over 8 yrs. I like that they are consistent and have basically maintained the same same staff (when I first started coming it was only Tommy, his wife and her sister). I love the personal attention and the fact that I don't have to tell Tommy and his wife how I like my feet and nails done, because they always remember. I even moved to another state for 2yrs but would still drive almost 2hrs once a mo to get services. His wife also does my brow and lip wax. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is unmatched. I mean they give you a hot stone foot massage with your pedicure. Although they allow walk-ins, I would suggest making an appointment because they get busy during the weekends. read more

I have been going to this salon for over 10 years. As they have increased their clientele they no longer take walk-ins as they advertise. For over 1 year now I have made 6 attempts to get my nails done at the salon as a walk-in. I live 20 mins away and have a crazy schedule so I can make appointments. Each time i go the wait is 3 hours or longer because they are booked with appointments. This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous! This morning I walked in at 10 a.m. right when they opened the door with not one client in the salon and they told me they had a 45 minute wait. You have got to be kidding me! I made a special trip on purpose to get there at opening so I would have not wait and still they would not take me because they were already booked with appointments. AND they were laughing about it! How is that funny?! So rude! If you only take appointments then that's what you need to advertise. They said "oh no, we take walk-ins." But they DO NOT! It's a LIE! Plan to make an appointment if you are going to this salon. I'm seriously disappointed with these owners. Very sad they've lost such a long-term customer whom has recommended their salon to so many people over the years. I guess I'll have to go to Party Nails in Carmel from now on where there is never wait and they've never push me away because they were busy. It's been real Crystal Nail. read more

I have been a client of Tommy's ever since he bought the shop from the previous owner. I have NEVER had any problems with him or his staff members throughout the many years I have used his service. He is very professional. He does a wonderful job. The shop is very neat and clean. My nails always look great!! I am very happy with his kindness and courtesy. I call and can always get in for an appointment. I live in Carmel, Indiana not San Francisco. Where did Yelp get that from!!! read more

I've been a loyal Crystal customer for slightly less than 10 years now. This is the only place I go anymore for my nails. I've tried other salons now and then but I always come back to them to fix what other salons mess up! Their quality and pricing is better than anyone else's in or around central Indiana. Your best bet is to make an appointment, however they do take walk-ins. Seriously, you cannot go wrong with Crystal Nails; friendly, fast, and unbeatable quality and pricing. read more

Best nail salon on the North side! I love being able to request an appointment and they have a great selection of gel polish colors! You can't go wrong with Tommy, Hannah or Holly. They are all great! I drive out of my way just to go to this salon! read more

This salon is wonderful! I've been coming here almost 10 years. They do the best acrylics of any salon I've been to (I've had acrylics 18 years, so I've been to plenty of salons!). As previous reviewers have said, an appointment is recommended. This is a smaller, family owned salon; their work is amazing so they are busy. I've never found making an appointment to be an issue. The owners are wonderful people. I highly recommend this salon. read more

Went in for a quick fill and before I could even sign in a lady said "no time today". It was a Saturday afternoon only two other customers were there so I was a little confused but I said "okay" she said "sorry". I won't be returning in the future. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Very rude and arrogant. I was turned away twice and they weren't busy.

I have been going to Crystal nails for a few months now and like the work that they do. My acrylic nails are very nice and look relatively natural. I also get weekly pedicures there. I was upset to find out that I have a nail fungus from the spa pedicures that they have there. I now have to get prescription strength anti fungal medication =medical bill to get rid of this fungus and hope my nail grows back. Therefore, be very careful there as the hygiene of this salon is lacking! read more

They do a very good job! Very nice, they make you laugh while they are doing your nails. If you ask they will do a fun design on your nails and it always looks fantastic!!! They take great care of you read more

Tommy at Crystal Nails is absolutely the best in all of Indy! I have been going here for several years but had tried many places before finding Crystal Nails! Their place is clean and professional. Tommy does an excellent job and very very fast, that's what I love! It always looks just like I want it to! Try them out, you will love them! read more

Crystal nails deserves more than 5 stars! Tommy has been doing my nails for over 17 years! I will not go anywhere else! The quality and service makes this salon so far above the rest! I would highly recommend crystal nails to anyone! read more

I decided to try a new location and it was disappointing. I asked before I was seated if I could soak for 20 minutes. The lady said no very loudly. I was confused as I am a paying customer and it was only two of us there with 3 people working. I repeated myself and she said no once more. So, I said no one else is here in line and I can't soak for twenty minutes? Her answer, NO!. Okay, again it was my first time there as i am use to soaking at other spas for at least 15 minutes before being worked on. Well not at this shop. I believe the lady who told me no was the owner, but someone else completed my pedicure. She was light handed but nice enough. My feet were in and out the bowl in no more than eight minutes. I waited longer to get seated then the service time. The lady that was there before me feet had just came up from soaking.... I can go to any other spa and receive much better service. What a waste. The basic pedicure comes with a one minute hot stone foot massage and it still did not make up for it. Try another place for the real experience. read more
