The techs, for the most part are all great. In the 15 or so years I've been coming to Fishers Nails, the only problems I've ever had were with the owner, Angie. Just a word of advice. Don't ever question her about anything.. if there's a difference in what you're paying as compared to the last time, you'll be accused of bad mouthing her business. If you see that your friend next to you had what seemed to be a deluxe Medicare. We paid the same . Mine was $10 more because of my gel, I got no leg massages. No sugar scrub. My tech never mentioned it was an option. Anyway, I made the mistake of asking Angie about it on my way out. Again, I was publicly chastised with accusations of questioning her business practices. I went for a gel manicure and pedicure for my spring break trip. First off, when I sat down in the pedicure chair, I immediately noticed a toenail on the towel, with footprints of where someone else's feet had been: AKA, towel was not changed. The whole place felt really gross and unsanitary. On top of that, my gel on my fingers chipped off after 2 days (shown in picture). They charged $103 for a standard gel mani and pedi, no designs, no shaping. Ridiculous price for the quality. Wont be going again. read more

This was my third visit with Michael. He always does a great job on my nails. Everyone in this facility is really nice. I have quite a bit of anxiety and don't always feel comfortable out places, but I have always been made to feel welcome here. Not this visit, but the last visit- Jennifer did my pedicure with gel polish on my toes. She did a really good job as well. I always get dipped nails and gel polish on my toes. First time coming here and I wanted to give a good review as the people are so nice....but this place is disgustingly dirty and they don't honor the prices on their website. Their color selection consists of about 30 colors tops. I got a toe color change which was supposed to be $15 and a dip $40. They charged me $85. When they clipped my nails, the remnants just went to the ground and when I looked at the floor, it was covered with nail clippings. The station I was at had dusty and rusted nail equipment. The nail dryers were covered with dust and so hot that it made my fingers hurt. Who seemed to be the owner bragged that they were voted the best nail salon...in 2019...by the Nextdoor app. Very doubtful! I will never return to this gross salon...Board of Health probably needs to make a visit. read more

EDIT: went back in after hoping for just a touch up, and ANGIE got me so right. She was so so nice and totally understanding and fixed it up for me even after they were closed! Gave me a super cool design with unicorn powder too! I'll be going back to her for sure! I never go get my nails done, but I know what to expect. My tech was hacking and coughing before he started on me, but didn't wear any mask, obviously didn't wash his hands after his last client, used a DIRTY TOWEL AND DIRTY PAPER TOWELS. I'm so disgusted. Had to ask for his to trim my cuticles before putting on the acrylics, which he charged me an extra 10 for? and he filed my nails so hard it hurt. These are the thickest, ugliest acrylics I've ever had, I'm so upset. I was going to get a pedicure as well but as soon as a saw the terrible nail job I was stuck with, I lied and said I didn't have enough time and ran out of there before I started sobbing. read more

I wanted something quick & easy so i got a full set no design painted white. While in the beginning the man was nice it went downhill from there. He cut me with the drill several times & filed my skin to where it was almost raw. I asked for short square and got short round ?? I don't remember saying that but hey, whatever floats your boat. Best nail place in Fishers, hands down. I have been getting my nails done on and off for years, and I began going to Fishers Nails in December, and I'm so glad I did. Most other nail studios provide inconsistent work, but I have never had a bad experience here. My go-to tech is Angie, but they are all incredible :) They are not only great with color and designs, but also the technical aspect of their work too. The nails are smooth, well shaped, and always placed at the perfect angle. I never feel like their work is rushed, like it can be at other salons. I had a hard time consistently getting the shape that I wanted at other salons too, but I have never had any problem here! Overall I only gave two stars because my experience and the end result of my services weren't worth anything higher... it's the typical "overbooked" appointment and walk-ins kind of nail salon which isn't out of the normal, but you are always hopeful the service you receive will be worth your money and here it isn't... my pedicure was just ok, focused more on the massage part than doing a decent job on painting my toenails; my acrylic set was somewhat of a nightmare and continues even days later... I showed a picture of this French style acrylic nails I wanted and instead of that they did "pink and white" which cost more than a regular acrylic set and it looks nothing like what the picture was, I am not picky by any means, but at least be in the general area of what I am paying for and as for the "wear" of my acrylic nails... it's only been three days and 5/10 nails are loose already ? For $50 I paid for a three day "Pink and White" acrylic set, which is extremely disappointing since I spent $100 at this salon in one visit and gave a generous tip thinking these nails would last even two weeks to go back for fill... a staff can be friendly and have customer service skills and the end result still be not worth the money you pay, I would highly suggest going somewhere else for quality service and satisfaction !!! read more

I tried this salon a few times. Pedicure is decent but the gel pain doesn't last More than a week. I got dip on my natural nails and it looked terrible both times. The staff is friendly but they are not good at this service. Nails are bulky and very big. Looks like bad fake acrylic nails. The owner even asked for a tip before he was finished with my nails. I had to sit for 15 minutes and dry dip paint which tells me they don't know how to properly perform this service. The late hours are temping because of Convenience. Save your money. read more

Everyone was so friendly from the moment I stepped in the door! Angie welcomed me right in and poured me a complimentary mimosa (uhm yes please!) Went in for the first time today. Got a deluxe pedicure and a full set. Angie was with another customer but introduced herself and was so pleasant to all of the clients in the salon, very sweet. Then I sat in front of a gentleman that I assume is named Tommy. I over heard someone call him that, he never said a word to me just asked what shape I wanted my nails. He reeked of cigarettes which was kind of gross, but he did a nice job on my nails. If your not wanting a conversation and don't mind the stale smoke scent ask for him. I had a full set and a pedicure. The pedicure was fine, but the set was awful! They didn't have many colored tips to chose from. The colored tips that I did chose he couldn't get to stick to my nails. So I just got acrylics and he painted the tips. The tips looked nice, but not even two days later the acrylic looks terrible. It is so uneven and at first I thought it was just because I hadn't had my nails done in a while, but I am almost to my two week point and I used to be able to go three weeks without having a fill. I can already tell that these acrylics will need to be removed and completely redone. I am about to move and I'm just trying to find somewhere close to my work that can do good nails. read more
