    Pork chops

Fried Pork chops greatly improved. Breading was tasty. Veggies excellent. Quick friendly service.

Abby's has now added roasted wings to the menu. I have had them twice and can't get enough of them. They are definitely a treat for me when I am in the area. I love that they continue to serve healthy food options at an affordable price. You can also buy in bulk if you are not in the mood to cook. This is great for those like myself who doesn't have the time to meal prep. Oh and let me add that the sweet potato casserole remains my top side from them. I had the greens for the first time and I will be getting them again as well. They were seasoned pretty good. Love it!

We ordered food from Abbay's and the food was very unpleasant. My order was also missing the macaroni and cheese. I ordered pork chop, black eye peas,Pinto beans & macaroni and cheese. The black eye peas and pinto beans were extremely soupy. I did not like the flavor. The pork chop had a layer of breading but under the breading was dry, hard meat. The breading separated easily from the meat.,you all need to dry your meat before cooking and use a egg wash for binding the breading to the meat. The cornbread was dry and tasteless. Abbay's., Abbay's,,Abbay's ....your food is awful and You're out of order.

I needed southern comfort food for lunch today. I know it looks heavy for lunch but I truly don't care lol! This meal is worth being sleep at my desk for! Service was quick and easy in the drive-thru.

I've been a huge fan of Abbay's for years. I frequent the Olive Branch location, but while in the area I decided to try the location in Cordova. Traffic was minimal, and there was no wait in line. As for my order, I opted for the Fried Fish, Broccoli rice casserole and a roll. The rice casserole well balanced with ingredients and the portion size was good. However, the fish was more than too salty and overcooked for my taste. If it were my guess, I'd say I was given a portion that wasn't freshly cooked after ordering. Although this wasn't my BEST experience with Abbay's, I would still give them try.

$10.14 for catfish, greens, mashed potatoes, and a roll. And it came out literally within 1 minute. Delicious!

I enjoy going to Abbay's because it's fast food without having the "burgers and fries" menu selections. I get hamburger steak or meatloaf and the food typically tastes good.

O m goodness this place is the bomb Friendly staff great customer service Most important awesomeness food And clean place had the meatloaf Mac and cheese with green beans

    Mashed potatoes and gravy

Ordered mashed potatoes and gravy as a side and got a huge hunk of what I think is rotten potato. There was no way they scooped that and didn't see it. It was sitting right in the middle and on the top. Check your food!

Bring your own knife if you want the pork chop. Fork too if you hate plastic.

They let me sample the Smoked Catfish Dip, which is served cold. It was delicious, so I had that for my appetizer. It's a huge portion and would be more than enough for 2-3 people to share. It comes with tortilla chips and they recommend trying it with the green Tabasco sauce. That adds a little heat to it. For my beer, I had a Memphis Made Fireside Amber Ale, which paired well with the both the appetizer and my entree. My entree was the Blackened Catfish with White Beans and Hushpuppies. I also tried their Homemade Tartar Sauce and Remoulade. Everything was excellent. I noticed they do quite a bit of carry out, to go orders. It looked like their to go orders outnumbered the actual restaurant patrons inside. They had a few waitresses constantly prepping carry out bags, filling sauces, etc...almost assembly line style, just to keep up. My dinner with tip was $50 plus.

We attended church in Memphis which ends at 12:30 and bc we live out of state, we had to find things to do for 3 1/2 hrs. We discovered when we arrived that they had opened up reservations an hour early after we booked. I wish that they had first informed those of us who had first reservations so that we could move ours up. We arrived about 20 minutes early expecting to wait until our 4:00 reservation but they seated us immediately. We ordered wedge and harvest salads for our first course and the oyster deviled eggs appetizer. Both salads were very good. I did think the egg were a little bland and I didn't taste the oyster on one of the 4 deviled eggs. The candied bacon topping is what made the eggs overall good. Otherwise l, without the candied topping it was bland. I ordered the pork chop with sweet potato casserole and Brussels sprouts. My dish was very good and enough for me to take more than half for leftovers. (This doesn't mean change the portion bc it's just right.) My husband ordered the fried chicken dish. It was a giant piece of chicken. Fried very nicely but the coating was not seasoned well, if at all, to me. However, he enjoyed his meal and that's what counts. He said the collard greens were absolutely delicious and the mac and cheese was very cheesy and good! He also took home most of his meal. We don't have big appetites so the portions are probably just right for the majority. I took home the lemon pie dessert. I was expecting more of a meringue taste based on the description but it wasn't, so I wouldn't order it again. We ordered the house wine and 1 of the specialty drinks. The staff were very professional and friendly. The manager (I assume) stopped by every table to check on us. The restaurant has very nice ambiance and the tables have a nice amount of distance between them. It looks well maintained and the bathrooms are clean. The price point isn't bad esp for the generous portions. We've eaten at this restaurant a couple of times before over the years, and I still recommend it.
