I had to see what all the buzz was about I had heard about, and Central BBQ did not disappoint. The smell of smoke hits you before you walk in and the food lives up to the reputation. I went for the ribs , pulled pork sampler, and quickly understood why this place is so popular. Tender, smoky, and packed with flavor, some of the best BBQ I've had. I have seen few other reviews with low rating, but all I can says It was great for me. A late review but I had to write one because BBQ, Memphis, and service is on my mind right this minute. If you're in Memphis, Central BBQ is a must-stop try spot.

The collard greens were praised by the whole table and was knocked out by everyone first. He interrupted her and said "why don't you let me tell you want I want and then we'll see if you need to tell me what I can't have." Hell yeah ol' timer! One man came in, heard the way she talked to him, and walked back out the door. By the way, what I wanted didn't require frying. Look, I've been coming here for over 4 decades. I came here with my parents and brought my children here so it's kind of sentimental. I would recommend they put a person with a little more personality behind the counter and someone who knows how to interact with the public.
