What is more perfect than being on Beale Street during 4th of July? Having a frozen drink in your hand to go with it. Wet Willie's specializes in frozen drinks which is needed when you're walking in the 90 degree heat. I ordered the green apple drink and I loved it. I wish more places carried green apple flavored drinks. The drink did not taste strong but you may feel it after a while. They also provide signature mixes which is their version of a frozen cocktail. They looked good so I may have to try it next time. I love how frozen drink bars are starting to expand from just New Orleans and Vegas. I'm hoping it's a trend that keeps growing. read more

This is downtown Memphis. You need to pay for parking at a parking garage or find limited street parking. I always find free parking on the Wet Willies end of Beale Street. This venue is essentially a wall of slushie machines with alcohol pre-mixed in. They do have some non-alcoholic options. Large drinks cost $11 each. They frequently have a long line that moves quick. Staff is always friendly. Drinks are always tasty and strong. I have not tried the food here but others seem to really like it. read more

Good place to get a frozen drink. Staff is friendly. Cost isn't too bad for the sizes. Our first time trying I asked the young girl what she suggested. She said call me a can, shock treatment and attitude adjustment. I did not know these were all three if their strongest drinks. I was zooted in about 5 minutes. LOL! We went back the next day and my drink was much more tolerable. We tried the chips and queso. It was a decent appetizer for $8. If you're looking for a good frozen drink you can walk around with or a quick buzz this is the place. $11 for small, $12 for medium and $13 for a large. They do have reusable cups as well. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are kind of gross. read more

Of all the drinks offered on Beale Street, we were familiar with this place so at least have an idea of what we were going to get. Came to Memphis for a quick trip and on the things to do Willie's was heavily recommended for their daiquiris. We got the Call a Cab and a swirl of Mango/Peach. Both $17 XL cups. Ordering is only togo right now due to Covid. You can definitely taste the liquor and the flavors in the daiquiri but they definitely didn't buzz you or make you need a cab or even a bike for that matter. Can't say that I'd try the drink again but I would go back to get food maybe. read more

This place offers all kind of flavored margaritas! You can mix up whatever you like with however many flavors you want! Come in small, med and large sizes. I personally did not taste much if any tequila (already pre mixed) but it was very flavorful! They can make drinks with rum as well. read more

You can't go wrong with a tasty boozy daiquiri! The service I received was great both times I visited. Prices are pretty reasonable and the place is clean. I took a star away because they don't offer sample taste at this location. I've been to Wet Willie's in both Miami and NOLA. I never had an issue when I asked for a sample. read more

Short and sweet, these are the best boozy shushes ever. They have a huge bank of freezing machines of all kinds of flavors. They are not too sweet. Just yummy. They are the COLDEST slush I have ever enjoyed, boozy or other wise. They are so cold that frost forms on the straw while you drink it. The strawberry daiquiri has a great fresh strawberry flavor. Tonight my girlfriend and I decided to visit Wet Willie's, even endured the summer heat and long line. Only to be told after waiting almost an hour in line, they were closed and could not take my order. Now I know covid has put a strain on businesses, as well as the time Beale street closes, due to the pandemic. However, at this time your only selling premade frozen drinks. The time it took to process each customer, was ridiculous. They had more than enough staff to figure out how to process a payment and push up a handle to fill a cup. If the manager had someone at the door to take orders and payments. Then another person to fill and pass out orders at the window . The line would move quicker and the business would make more money. Go to Chick-fil-a and take notes. Anyway, this 1 star had nothing to do with covid, just poor management. read more

As a kid, I always despised wet willies. I thought they were gross and too warm and wet for my taste (yep, you know it). I kid, but I am definitely a fan of Wet Willie's when it comes in the form of boozy slushies. Walking down Beale Street, if you want to try something away from the usual drafts or whiskey infused drinks, try your hard at some sweet and sour sugary concoctions. Very circa Fat Tuesdays and New Orleans is all I have to say. The place was not very bumpin, but the drinks were great. They have a wide variety of choices and come in multiple size cups (and a yard stick). A bit pricier than what I am used to paying for giant alcoholic slushies that Vegas can provide, but it'll do. I got the Shock Treatment because it was Blue. Watch it- it contains 190 Octane goodness. Unfortunately, Tennessee law prohibits sampling of any kind, so you'll need to be sure you like a certain fruity flavor before you buy the drink. Or, at least that's what the bartender said. Maybe she just didn't want to give out free alchy. Fair enough! Cheers to a good night on Beale Street! read more

Beale street is a bit different since you can carry your drink around as you party, but you gotta love that!. I recommend going in and sampling a few things and going for it.
