Alabama white sauce wings
Juliane D.

You wouldn't think a brewery on Beale would have such a delicious lunch but they DO! These were absolutely the best wings we have ever tasted. These hot tip is to ask for "off menu" Alabama white sauce. Finger licking good, does not describe the true tastiness of these plump wings. The beer brewed nearby ( locally in Memphis) is exceptionally well balanced and fresh. Service was prompt and efficient and the ambiance was a cool vibe!

Cool green glow! Ghostly!

We made a stop through Memphis to visit Beale Street for a night and worked Ghost River into our plans. I ordered an Aqua Mane at the Blues City Cafe with lunch, and I was hooked. Had to walk down to the brewery and see what else was good. So glad we did. The beers were great! Our server, Audrey was nice and helpful. We'll definitely return next time we're in Memphis.

Beer flight and frog splash !

A nice brewery with a lovely selection of beer and beer-based cocktails. The beers were a bit hit or miss but I really liked the dom's red and a cherry sour they had on tap. I did not really care for the other beers though. The beer-based cocktails are fun but a bit too on the sweet side for my taste. We also got the chips and queso which were just okay. The servers were very attentive and kind even during a very busy time. We never had to wait too long for anything and were checked on after which I appreciated. There was a great live musician (Terry Greene) playing songs from the 90s and early 2000s which really made my evening! It was lovely to drink beer and listen to music. Overall, I had a nice time and would return!

A nice brewery on Beale. The bartender was nice and had a plethora of jokes to tell. He kept our glasses full of hoppy goodness while doing his best to service the rest of the crowd. The place has a ghoulish, ghostly vibe, green neon everywhere giving off an eerie glow. The beers here are tasty, but I have honestly had better. It is of my opinion that you should start here and move on to bigger and better establishments.

Huli Huli Wings and fries

I love New Wing Order and Ghost River, so together that's a fantastic combo! This location has vodka infused sludgiest (yum!) and you also have the option to select rotating features wings. I chose the Huli Huli with jalapeño ranch dressing and that was superb. And the lemon garlic fries were seasoned just right. The service was great on a Saturday night and the live music was kinda terrible. But it is what it is. The band was trying. Overall I recommend.

Flight of beer on Beale Street.

There's nothing better than stopping in a tap room to enjoy a flight of locally brewed beer on a Saturday afternoon -- provided that the beer is decent -- and the offerings at Ghost River Brewing, though similar to hundreds of other craft brewers across the nation, were quite good. If I were a local instead of a first time visitor in Memphis, I'd probably be a regular consumer of their products. The beers I sampled included: 1. Zippin Pippin IPA -- A lightly hopped, smooth drinking IPA. (Side note: The Zippin Pippin was said to be Elvis' favorite roller coaster. It is reported that he rode it hundred's of times. At some point the coaster was taken out of service, and subsequently, in 2010, was purchased by the city of Green Bay, WI (where I lived and worked for 30 years), and rebuilt at the city's Bay Beach Amusement Park. I'm sorry to say that I never got around to ridding it while I lived in Green Bay.) 2. Riverbank Red ale -- a very good example of a red ale. 3. East Beale English bitter - Excellent example of an English Bitter. 4. Golden Ale -- In my opinion, the weakest of the flight, the taste was off and it was bit sour for me. 5. Rocket 88 oatmeal stout -- somewhat bitter, a bit dark and chewy but not as "creamy" as some that I've had. 6. Don's Red Barrel Aged Red Ale -- A fairly strong brew with just a tad of bourbon whiskey taste from the barrel. Like many craft breweries, their offerings vary by season and new brews are frequently on tap, so some of what I had might not be available when you visit. But that's the fun of ordering a tasting flight -- you get to try a bunch of different brews when ever you visit.

Breakfast scramble with a mimosa and one of their frozen drinks made with their beer.

The far end of Beale needs more businesses and Ghost River Brewing on Beale is a smart move. Plenty of room and beers. Frozen drinks made from their beers. A stage in the back for live performances. Bring some friends and chill while a band plays 'Play That Funky Music' Also, their brunch is done by Chef Sobie. I had the breakfast scramble with a frozen drink (Can't remember the name) and watched the Titans game. It was a great experience.

Excellent selection and the best patio in the city arguably. Very relaxing and multiple bars. Customer service is superb and that's extended to the on-site restaurant!

Best wings. I always tell people to stop by Beale Street and grab the wings at Ghost River. Beer is equally as good!

They mentioned plans to expand and it sounds like it will be a great enhancement. I love the wall design that shows the current options. I love sours and was so excited to see they had a few options. First up: Sauce. I was not ready for the appearance. It looked like something your get a coffee shop. I was intrigued by the rhubarb and the staff said it's a seasonal item so I said what the heck. 9/10. The flavors mesh well together and tou get just a little but of sweetness on top of the sour. The consistency was a tad thicker than usual but I enjoyed it. Next up: Love Joy. Much larger than I expected. Lemon flavor was evident without being too overpowering. Perfect for a starter option. Bathroom: clean Prices: $ very reasonable Parking: no issue with parking along the street outgrowth Ambiance: open, inviting and encourages mingling

It's a brewery - so I wouldn't expect all of the bells and whistles - but this is the perfect place to come hang out and grab a couple of drinks in a great space/environment that feels lively enough to be different than having beers at home. Solid choice!

I came here with my partner and his family, and my partner was unable to roll up the ramp due to the lip on the ramp. I briefly mentioned this to the employee inside, and he immediately called the owner who showed up while we were sitting outside, apologized for the issues, and made a trip to a hardware store to purchase a solution so there was no longer a lip on the accessibility ramp. Our problem was solved same day and I do not believe many other places would've taken prompt action like Cooper House Project did. I will be making a point to come here more often not only for their terrific food and drinks, but for the kindhearted efforts and consideration for those who need accessibility.

It seems like a cozy place to sit and get some work done, and I appreciated that we could bring our dog inside. However, I waited almost 20 minutes for my drink, and I think it's because the employees were stopping to talk with customers who were their friends. Of course, friendliness is important, but these seemed to be personal conversations and I did not receive the same attention. In terms of the coffee, their seasonal mango drink was surprisingly delicious and I'm glad that I got to try something new! I just wish the customer service was a little better.
