    Cajun Salmon Spud with Spinach

The food is always absolutely delicious! It's all made fresh to order. The service is excellent and the ambiance is nice too, they have good music playing and it's not too loud. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, the catfish, the Cajun salmon spud, it's all so tasty! I've been supporting them since they owned East Memphis Pizza & Subs.

Great customer service; placed order ahead and was ready when I arrived and friendly staff. HOWEVER.... Finally made it to LA91 today and it's not worth the hype that Jeremy Pierre made it out to be. Potatoes are half the size as they were in at the Memphis location. They Look good as far as the presentation but dry. I don't think they even used butter. Potatoes $18+ are double price of salad $8+ but half the size. Salad look good on website but in person it look like somebody's child fixed it. Wasn't as nicely presented and layered as it looked online. Had to add some turkey and bacon bits to it. Dressing must be house made vinaigrette cause it tasted horrible. And I just knew that strawberry cake was good.... nope... straight boxed cake but must be some type of diet box cake cause it was not sweet. Icing okay but not homemade. I'm sure the caramel cake was the same. Butter roll okay but never had one before to compare against. Tastes like bread pudding which I later learned it should not taste that way. I can say I tried it but won't be back.

I decided to get the wings and fried okra. It was pretty good. The flavor was good but the wings are super big. I'm personally not a fan of big wings. They could've been crispier but it was still good. The okra was a 10/10. I just wish it was coated more with the seasoning. 30$ for 10 piece okra and drink idk if I'll be back. But you should def try them!!

Taco Salad with ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, cheese and banana peppers. Salsa and sour cream on the side

It was already posted on their site about the Easter dinner menu. I find out they are offering different items to choose from for today"s menu let me clarify that. It's not the picture as the dinner just the various items to choose from for your Easter Dinner. Customer service was great as always the atmosphere was great pleasant. Just don't take my word for it the food is on point, so good. Happy Resurrection Sunday

Stopped by here after seeing their vids on TikTok. I got the loaded potatoes, it was huge I couldn't finish. I'd give the taste a solid 7/10. They left a little bit to be imagined. The servers were really sweet, it did take quite a while to get my food I think there were maybe 4 or 5 other people there. I wish I would've ordered something else to give them a more detailed review, definitely open to try again!

The service was very good and there is plenty of seating. Many TVs to watch and decent music in the background. The food was just okay. The onion rings were fried WAY too hard and the spud was lacking in flavor, the shrimp was also fried hard and missing seasoning. Without all the toppings it would've been a flavorless potato. I do plan to return to try other menu items. They charge for EVERYthing. $1.50 for extra sour cream etc., literally everything.

I really wanted to like this place. I had been hearing about it and the food looked great. I went in for lunch around noon. I walked right up to the counter (they weren't busy). I ordered a potato with grilled chicken and a fountain drink. My order including tip was $25. The potatoes are supposed to come with butter, sour cream and cheese. It took 20 minutes to get my food. I was dining in and the food came out in a plastic take out container. The potato was undercooked, flavorless and exceptionally dry. There is no way there was butter and sour cream on there. It seemed as if it had been microwaved because the perimeter of the potato was hard. I was quite disappointed. First because I had been wanting to try and this place is very far from my home. Secondly, I spent $25 on a subpar meal. Oh well, now I know. By the time I was leaving, there was a crowd and a line had formed at the register. Apparently something they have is good. Maybe I will give them another try and order something else. It will be awhile though.

When I asked for a refund, I was told that the manager does not handle refunds and that I should speak with the day shift manager instead. I watched numerous DoorDash and Uber Eats deliveries go out, but my order never arrived. Additionally, none of the workers wore gloves, and the manager's attitude was unpleasant. After I inquired about my order, a heavy-set woman brushed me off, fanning her hand dismissively and walking away while saying they were short-staffed. No one would give me their names. Another customer advised me not to leave until I spoke with someone, as the behavior demonstrated was unacceptable. The night manager, a Black woman with short hair, was rude and seemed to need more training in dealing with the public. I have decided not to patronize this establishment again. If I could give this store a zero rating, I would. I plan to return in the morning to request my refund. After I asked for a refund, she gave my order to another customer for free. I have never been treated this way before and will not accept disrespect from someone who should act professionally.

Kid who had the Korean q said it was good but I didn't try it. Three of us had Louisiana voodoo fries and 1 had a plain fries. The voodoo weren't bad but if I'm gonna get "crazy" fries I'd just as soon get them from Fowl n Out or get the junkyard fries from Hattie Bs. So, in summation, if i return here for a chicken sammich I'd just get it plain and toss it with one of the many many many store bought and home made (yeah I said home made I have an entire mini fridge dedicated to them ) hot and/or bbq sauces we have at home.

Side note: Spread the love when you can, and write good reviews when you have good experiences. Don't wait and write a bad one after one bad visit. Ugh. You walk in and it's bright, loud, hectic, gringos everywhere! I knew from the drop, as soon as I walked through the door it's far from authentic Mexican food, but totally "Mississippian Top of the Sip Mex" ™. That's another new one, you can use that one, as long as you pay me. Contact me for details, we can work something out. My number is (662) 513-0796. Now that the legal stuff is out of the way. Resuming.... My first visit, when my completely American server walked up and greeted me I was offered a "MS TOTSM" gosh durn bible of concoctions consisting of the same thing repurposed to trick the high brow MS masses to believe they have choices. I had not realized El Agave and Tate Reeves had so much in common. Stay on track, Adam!! This is Yelp! One thing stuck out to me that you generally see in decent Tex Mex to real deal Mexican food where no one speaks English. Chile Verde!!! I asked her about it, told her how reluctant I was ordering it based on her and my current environment (that brought a look), and she all she just said was "try it", so reluctantly I did. Sometimes I just need a lady to take control and tell me what to do. I'm there eating chips and salsa all patient and stuff... Boom! What comes out looks like baby poo. We might be on to something here!!! Could it be? The pork tips were swimming in green salsa, which was promising. I take a chip and dunk it in the verde.... Here we go! It's tangy, punchy, sweet, and spicy!!! Now all I need is the pork to not suck.... Holy shit!! It doesn't suck! It's actually good!!! Everything else is an afterthought. Rice. Blah. Beans. Blah. They are fine I guess. Just the norm, but the salsa on the pork steals the show!!! I eat it all up! I've came four or five times solo on lunch shopping excursions to Tanger and my Verde has always been a winner! On the family visit, C had a taco and an enchilada. Kiddo had the famous P-10, or MS Mush as I call it. They both ate it up so it must be good. Kid even took the rest home and ate it later. I'll be back for my baby poo pork! You can guarantee that!! It came across as rude and unprofessional, and I hope that kind of behavior doesn't become a reflection of the restaurant in the future. On a positive note, the lunch fajitas were delicious and a very generous portion. Despite the distraction in my seating area by the cussing, disgruntled young waitress, the food and my waitress's, Taniyah, friendly service stood out.

It's not intolerable but it's not what you look for when you go to a soulfood restaurant. I also wasn't a fan of the wait. We have some made to order items so it was understood about the 20 minute wait, but we didn't get our food until almost an hour after paying. The extra time waiting seemed to be due to fried green tomatoes not being made in tandem with the fried chicken. As a result, everything was luke warm by the time we got the food. You actually order from the counter and wall menu, but we wanted to look everything over (Not Rushed) They have alot of great options on the menu. This includes dry rubs and dipping sauces. Many different options for the chicken and the french fries. I like very hot/spicy food and my wife is more into sweet/salty. There were great options for both of us. I got the "Nashville Hot" wings and drumsticks. My fries were plain with no adds (Chili, Cheese, Garlic) You can choose dry rub and dipping sauce or toss the chicken and dip it in a choice sauce. My wife got the chicken wings (Not Tossed) and the Teriyaki dipping sauce. She got her fries covered in cheese. The chicken itself was cooked very crisp and tasted great. I was not impressed by the heat of the "Nashville Hot" It was barely mild to me. I love really hot food though. The owner gave me his hottest sauce (Damn Hot) to try dipping. One thing that really disappointed me was that they were out of brisket (told us after we placed our orders) and half our orders had brisket. We had family from the west coast here and the whole point of going to Memphis BBQ was for them to enjoy southern BBQ and I feel they didn't get the whole experience. Another thing, our waiter specifically said he put the 3 kids meals on one order so they would come out first... guess which ones came out last out of all 9 of us? Yeah, the kids. And the food was piping hot for them so they barely ate anything by the time we were all done with our meals. Which our meals were actually good. Except the water. Has an awful chlorine taste to it. Lastly, weren't we supposed to get complimentary pork rinds? I completely forgot about that until after we left or I would have asked for them. It wasn't a horrible experience, but we've definitely had better and we'll probably be back sometime.
