What an absolute gem Aaron wines is! I'm so happy this spot was recommended to me. With so many wineries in Tin City and Paso in general, it's not an easy decision deciding where to go. Aaron is a spot I will definitely be recommending to anyone I know that's coming to Paso. The atmosphere, service, and wine was all great. We stopped in without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon. Waited about 2 minutes for a group to finish getting up and the space to be cleaned and then sat at the bar. The tasting room is fairly small but it looked like they had outdoor seating available for those nicer days. The tasting consisted of 5 wines with an additional pour from another open bottle when we were there. Our tasting host Katie was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the wines and where they grew. We learned about the grapes, soil, and tasting profile of each wine as we tasted through the menu. Since it was a pretty small tasting room you could hear a lot of the conversations around you, but this ended up being cool as we met some fun people to talk with. Definitely a spot I could've stayed and enjoyed a glass or bottle of wine if we weren't in a hurry to squeeze in another tasting. Favorites from the tasting were the petit sirah and blends from the west side. I ended up going home with a bottle of sandstone blend and the petit sirah, can't wait to drink them and go back for more wine next time I'm in town!

Located in the Tin City complex, this little tasting room provided me with glass after glass of pure pleasure. A visit here will allow you to sample Aaron and Aequorea label wines. The two women who were serving on my visit were welcoming, excellent conversationalists, and experts in wine knowledge. For a fee that can be applied to a wine purchase, you can sample six wines. Each pour was fantastic. I liked each one a lot but chose three bottles to take home. They are known for their petit syrah (rightly so) but I was surprised how much I enjoyed their pinot noir. This should definitely be a stop on your Central Coast wine tasting adventures. Shout out to Chris D. and Aaron E. for making me aware of this great winery thanks to their reviews.

Really the question is why wouldn't you stop here? We came on a Sunday afternoon last minute after reading other reviews on Yelp regarding this great spot. It proved to be perfect. Gibson was amazing. We enjoyed wine tasting outside on the patio. Brought our own bread and olive oil from another local place (separate review) and began the journey through Aaron and the style of wine he creates. Gibson was friendly, knowledgeable and a great host. He conveyed the path taken in the creation of these wines and answered all our questions seamlessly. I felt at times as if we were talking to the wine maker himself because he was so knowledgeable. We enjoyed and purchased a few bottles and one of us became a wine club member. The patio was dog friendly and covered. Sometimes these places can be stuffy, not this place. Down to earth people sharing a down to earth wine. So I ask again why wouldn't you stop here? There really is no reason.

Private room for large groups was awesome with a record player and great music selection!

Great experience! The wines, service and ambiance was awesome! We had a large group and got the private room which I highly recommend. It really made for an awesome tasting!

What can I say about Aaron Jackson's wines? This dude has something going here that everyone should know about. Amazing Pinot Noirs, so jammy and smooth, perfectly balanced. His red blends are sophisticated, complex, and unique. The Viognier's rival some of the best from the southern Oregon region. My wife and I have tasted wines all over the world and I have to say that Aaron's wines are among the best that we have ever had the pleasure of drinking. Aaron runs a small operation, but it's apparent that he has developed and continues to develop his craft of winemaking and is quickly becoming a winemaster. If you know anything about and have the passion for the vine you must treat yourself. Aaron Jackson. Remember his name. Go to his winery. Buy his wine. Make your life more enjoyable. Thank you Aaron Jackson for doing what you do. It is delicious.

Once I heard what happened I was more sad but happy to hear the new owner wants to continue Vina Robles. I wish as a member I would have gotten notified. Went to their new location which was really convenient since we were going to other wineries near there. It's still a big location. Plenty of seating and they still offer food which we were happy about. Our server was super sweet and knowledgeable which I always appreciate when it comes to wine. We started a tasting and then just tried whatever she gave us which we weren't complaining. Haha. All the wine she was giving us was really good. I was really impressed by their food. I wanted more of everything. We got their bruschetta al Fresco, hummus, monte Bianca pizza, and one other pizza. I fell in love with their bruschetta. We got there right as there kitchen closed which was a bummer because I wanted more. Overall, I still enjoy their wine. Their location is really nice. Food is delicious. I will conintue being a member and will stop by anytime I am in the area.

I booked it online and then reserved online in their website. No phone call was needed. We reserved noon on Saturday and after all of our party arrived we went upstairs to our lovely comfy leather sofas to settle in for the duration. We were given 4 pizzas of our choice and 4 salads and served buffet style so everyone could load their plate. We also added 3 orders of yummy meatballs. I cut them in half for serving. Artichoke hearts appetizer, charcuterie board and more. They provided juice boxes for the little boys in our party. The food was more than enough for Lunch. We could have fed more people and we took home a lot of pizza. The Italian sausage pizza was very good but we had the hot honey on the side as none of the group was interested in it. The wine was good, as usual. I had only whites. The rest of the group had the standard white then red tasting. The sparkling rose is also very good and upstairs you have dedicated bottle server. Service was excellent. They had live music downstairs and a market event going with vendors selling goods for the holiday season. I love this venue and will return soon. Improvement needed. Buy some large paper plates for the buffet lunch. It's a shared food event. All we had was tiny appetizer plates. We asked for larger but they had none. ** edit. Update. The manager replied and has ordered larger plates so I'm happy to hear this. We are already talking about coming back again. Dec 18, 2025 The Cesar salad had nice shaved cheese but no salad dressing.

We are the type of members who always take great care of the staff and rarely leave without purchasing extra bottles, yet today we were treated like an inconvenience. Despite being told in the past that spontaneous visits were no problem for members, we were turned away on a gloomy Monday with plenty of open tables. The host at the entrance was incredibly dismissive and wouldn't even let us finish our sentence before cutting us off. We were told our only options were to come back in an hour, a "limited" tasting, drive all the way downtown, or just pick up our shipment and leave. We asked for the Wine Club Manager to resolve the situation, but she wasn't on-site. To be offered a "partial" tasting as a favor after nearly ten years of support was the final straw. It feels as though they now prioritize "closing" new members over honoring the people who have supported them for years. They've gone mainstream and lost the personal touch that made them special.

Quality/Quantity - After tasting a few wines, I settled on a glass of Pinot Noir. Atmosphere - Small tasting room, bar, indoor, and outdoor seating. Plus tasting. Got lucky, as today they were bottling so we got to experience that a little. And due to the small size, they bottle via a trailer; see pictures. Plenty of Tin City parking, as we got here late and right before closing. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 5pm. Service - Emma was perfect. As usual, we were the only customers. We got all the attention. It felt like we were all just hanging out. (Or she was just so bored, lol). She shared so much information about the winery and Paso Robles. We compared stories and wineries, etc. Lastly, she gave us a tour of the facility as the production just ended. This was unexpected and really appreciated. Price - $18 + generous tip. I just got a glass of their Pinot Noir. Tastings are $20 a person and waived with two bottle purchases. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location since 2019. I can see why you are 5 stars; great service culture.

They were happy to accept us as walk-ins, and offered us our choice of seating. They have outdoor seating and indoor standing tastings at the bar, since we didn't have too much time we opted for a bar tasting with Kirsten (the wife of one of the owners). It was great learning about the wines, and the area of France that they are inspired by. The wines here are a little different than most you see in Paso, they have a lot of white wine and do a decent amount of skin contact on some of them. Some of the wines reminded me of natural wine, which I'm not the biggest fan of, but I know a lot of people who love them. I ended up leaving with a bottle of their 100% Pinot Blanc, a little sweeter than something I would usually go for, but I'm excited to drink it on a nice summer day!

Being able to enjoy some of their older vintages this way makes the experience even more special for wine enthusiasts. What I appreciate most about DAOU is how they've managed to maintain a small, family-style atmosphere despite being acquired by a larger company a few years ago. The hospitality still feels personal and genuine. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, not only about the wines themselves but also about the history of the vineyard and the vision behind it. The whole visit struck that rare balance: polished without feeling formal, refined without ever feeling rushed or "in-and-out." Dennis has been with Eberle since 2017, and you can feel how much he cares about the place. He spoke about the winery with such genuine pride, and as you look around the tasting room at the rows of award ribbons from years of vintages, it hits you--this is a place with real history behind it. That sense of legacy and care is woven into the whole experience. The historic wine caves are a must, the complimentary tasting felt generous and unhurried, and the grounds have that unmistakable Paso magic--rolling hills, big oaks, golden light, and room to breathe. We even crossed paths with Gary Eberle (founder, 1979) and his sweet black poodle, Vieto--one of those authentic, only-in-wine-country moments that sums up the welcoming spirit here.
