You know that song that goes "Ella, Ella, Ella..."? Well, remember the name when you're in Paso Robles because you must stop by Ella's Vineyard! It's a little bit on the outskirts of Tin City, but totally worth it. If it is over 100F, like it was when I went there (OMG!!!), then you will especially appreciate being out of the blistering sun and in the cool, upscale ambiance of this boutique winery for some fancy wine tasting. Ella's has pretty much 3 seating areas: the bar (that's where we sat), the tables away from the bar for some privacy, and this cutely decorated, semi-private area within wood beams that is reserved for groups. (Hint: Call ahead to reserve it if you are going there with a group so you get this area! It will be so worth it!) The person who was working there was also a private chef, so every tasting she poured came with detailed descriptions of what dishes she'd pair with the wine. She should have warned us this would cause severe salivation. Bring on the Bounty in aisle 7! Haha Ella's Vineyard has it all: good wine, good atmosphere, good service.

We had a lovely time sitting on some comfy couches during our tasting. The server was super knowledgeable and walked us through the wines we were samplng, explaining each one in great detail. A lot of the wines we tried had a nice Italian touch and were absolutely delicious.

    Comfy setting.

This a lovely boutique winery in the Tin City Annex. They focus on Italian varietals. They take great care with their wines that result in unique tastes. The winemaker was our host for a tasting and poured a couple extra varietals, served us complimentary cheese to pair with certain reds, and were very knowledgeable. We had a fun, relaxed time. Worth a visit!

Wine is simply delicious! Each being unique and nothing like one another. Service and kindness is amazing! They are dog friendly and immediately brought water for our dog and friend's dog. This was extra special. A very chill warm vibe in the tasting room. Will 100% be back! My favorite Paso winery by far

Five Stars! Hidden Gem in Tin City Annex! Ella's Vineyard is a must-visit in Paso's Tin City! Casual, fun vibe with exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable proprietor Katherine Morris. Their Italian varietals are a delightful surprise, especially the outstanding 2021 Sangiovese - bright cherry, earthy notes, and great depth. You can taste the quality that comes from their unique terroir. Fantastic wine and a genuinely enjoyable, educational experience. Highly recommend seeking out this hidden gem!

More like 10/5 stars!!! And thank you for being one of the only tasting rooms open after 5pm! We came upon tin city late in the afternoon when all the other rooms were closing, and we were so lucky to happen upon Ella's. They are in the tin city annex, just a short few minute drive from the main tin city. They specialize in Italian varietals. The room is elegant and comfortable with a very relaxed vibe. My friend and I had a wonderful time, and we were so fortunate to have Chris guide us through our tastings. He was so very knowledgeable, friendly and just a perfect ending to our day. Absolutely come for a visit!!

    Us having a great time

We were staggering from one Tin city winery to another yesterday and came across Ella's Vineyard and sure glad that we did! Their wines were fantastic and the host, sorry can't remember her name :-( , was awesome! Nice, relaxing atmosphere and great discussion made our visit here even nicer, will be back for sure!

My husband and I are from WA and this was our first trip to Paso for our Anniversary. As I work in the wine industry in WA I was very excited to get to know Paso Robles. We had been to several and had some good, some not so good...and as a last ditch on our way out of town we stopped by Ella Vineyard, the main reason is because it's our Granddaughter's name...and because they do Italian wines. As luck would have it, Chris, one of the winemakers was on site that day and helped us personally. What a wonderful experience! The wines are delicious and it was so fun to "talk shop." This is my favorite thing about wine, how it brings all kinds of people together and the real joy we get out of it. Everyone feels like family. This is a must stop if you love Italian varietals! You'll go home with lots of bottles like we did!

Love the Italian commitment to their wine making. Chris did the pouring today and was super knowledgeable about the wine. He also talked about how well each wine worked with food especially Italian dishes. The tasting room was beautiful, simple, yet elegant. Definitely a place to hang out. A big plus is it's in the Tim City Annex which is a place for true wine enthusiasts.

Ella's Vineyard is what brought my boyfriend and I to Paso Robles a few years back in the first place. We had a tie to Kat and her family, the owners, through her Aunt, and we are so happy we were able to meet them! Each time we visit Paso Robles, Ella's is a staple to our trip. Kat exudes excellent hospitality and has such a friendly nature. We had planned to take a vineyard tour on our next trip, but little did I know, my now fiancé, had planned something very special. Kat helped him set up his proposal in the vines at their estate! She secretly worked with him to make it perfect, and it was just that! He was even recommended a photographer (@foxandplume) who was local to Paso Robles by her. To top it all off, Kat and her family helped us celebrate that night by hosting our engagement dinner party at the tasting room in Tin City! We are forever grateful for the kindness and genuineness Ella's has brought to us and how we got to celebrate the best night of our lives, full circle, with them!

Best wine tasting I've ever done. Please check it out! Chris is the best! I thought the reds were particularly excellent but that's just me.

They were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like family, even though it was only our second tasting room visit ever. Bret, the winemaker, is a great guy. We instantly connected over his ties to Eagle, Idaho (where my parents live), which made the experience even more special. Huge shoutout to Lexi as well. She was an awesome host on both visits and was extremely friendly and accommodating. Bret's wines were outstanding across the board. We especially loved the 2024 El Paso de Robles White, the 2021 Fasten Your Seatbelt Syrah (absolutely incredible), and the 2022 Willow Creek District red blend. Thoughtful, balanced, and beautifully made. The space is clean, modern, and vibrant, and their creative marketing really stands out across social, their website, merch, and overall brand presence. We enjoyed it so much that we joined the wine club on the spot and are excited to have Levo in our regular rotation as we move from SLO to Atascadero. Highly recommend! Fantastic wine, great people, and a 10/10 experience.

We are the type of members who always take great care of the staff and rarely leave without purchasing extra bottles, yet today we were treated like an inconvenience. Despite being told in the past that spontaneous visits were no problem for members, we were turned away on a gloomy Monday with plenty of open tables. The host at the entrance was incredibly dismissive and wouldn't even let us finish our sentence before cutting us off. We were told our only options were to come back in an hour, a "limited" tasting, drive all the way downtown, or just pick up our shipment and leave. We asked for the Wine Club Manager to resolve the situation, but she wasn't on-site. To be offered a "partial" tasting as a favor after nearly ten years of support was the final straw. It feels as though they now prioritize "closing" new members over honoring the people who have supported them for years. They've gone mainstream and lost the personal touch that made them special.
