He said it was not from normal wear and tear being only 7 years old. The technican also said he would follow up with my which he never did. Do not trust this company or waste your time with them. I had my home warranty recommend Aaron's Pools and Mike came out early yesterday morning to fix our spa heater. He was right on time, was very quick to diagnosis the problem and explained everything to me. Surprisingly he had the replacement part on his truck and fixed the problem immediately! Our pool heater stopped working in April and we have American Home Shield home warranty company. We paid for the service ourselves and AJ came out and diagnosed our heater as not repairable due to normal wear and tear and being 17 years old and not repairable. We called AHS to request service on our heater and they had to assign a different company, Sunbrite Pools. Josh from Sunbrite came out and said chemical damage caused the heater to fail, and not normal wear and tear, which was incorrect and our claim was denied. We requested a second opinion and we're assigned Aaron Pools and Brent came out and also said the heater needed to be replaced due to normal wear and tear!! I want to commend AJ and Brent from Aaron Pools for their professionalism and knowledge of pools. I will always be using Aaron Pools for my pool problems from now on. Very professional from the very first call. Appointment to repair time excellent. The tech, Alex, called ahead, showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem(s), and got right to work. It was obvious that he was well-trained and knew what he was doing. He had to "go get parts." The large part was the bottom half of the cartridge filter canister. Past experience with others during this pandemic meant it would be days, or even weeks, before he came back. Luckily, he was back within an hour and finished the job! This review is solely base on customer service of the person answering the calls at the company. My work order from the home warranty company was sent to them and I waited over 24 hours to call and schedule an appointment. The person that answer the call was the rudest and unhelpful person I've talked with. I asked when can I expect my work order to be schedule and the person replied with, we do our work order in the order they come in. That's fair enough. Then I ask, when should I expect a call. The person stated they had 48 hours to schedule a work order. No other information was given. I called the home warranty company and transfer my work order to another company. read more

For once, my home warranty company sent a company that knows what it's doing! I was contacted within the specified time after placing the service call and my appointment was scheduled. I was contacted by customer service prior to my appointment and the technician contacted me when he was en route to my home. AJ arrived as sched​uled and promptly diagnosed the issue. After repairing the motor he checked all of the lines connected to the pump and provided me with indicators for their normal position. They came out on a home warranty ticket to replace a sand filter well they came out replaced it with a cartridge filter cut the top off the old filter took all the sand out and dumped it on the ground and left it there. all the boxes and trash where put in to the garbage can sticking out and over loaded and they left. This should have been put back in there truck and removed This was for my 84 year old mother in law went over to empty trash for them and looked at the work they did not spray the pipes to protect from the sun called the dispatch and asked them why and they told me the warranty company does not pay for them to do that The tech called me back and told me he would come out and do it for them at no charge This smart ass kid came out and all he wanted to do was argue this turned into a confrontation and i threw him out This company is a freekin joke i will hire someone to come clean up your mess If your home warranty sends these clowns out to your house throw them out and request another company read more

AJ installed my new Jandy pump and other equipment a little over a year ago and the work he did was incredible. He took the time to show me how the new equipment works an much more. Just recently he replaced a leaking valve on my main pool equipment and had it done in no time. If you live in the west valley have AJ from Aaron pools take care of you. We had to call our Home Warranty Company for an issue regarding our salt cell and board. Mike and Wesley came out and diagnosed the following negligence from our current pool service company: - Salt Cell was not cleaned, full of calcium. I had been told it was cleaned. -Salt levels way too high, resulting in the salt board not reading. - The pump was not running long enough on the pool, 3 hours a day. So Mike a Wesley tackled those issues and we have now hired Aaron's to due weekly maintenance on our pool. Super happy and pleased with my customer service. read more

I want to thank Mike from Aaron Pools. This WAS a home warranty request. But it was a second opinion. The first guy came out (FROM ANOTHER COMPANY) said my Pool heater was not fixable. And that me or my "pool guy" ruined it by putting too much acid in the pool. He said the switch was discolored and because it was, that was the tell-tale sign of acid damage. He then sent me a quote for a new heater ($3600). I knew this was crap. I got a second opinion (Which I paid another $75). WELL WORTH IT! Aaron pools came out first thing (8am sharp) the next day! He looked at the unit and cleaned off the switch and connections and within 10 minutes, had my (broken unit beyond repair) working again. He (Mike) said this was a basic repair, and that it is "acid damage" when the unit is leaking. Most other times it is quite repairable. This is Pool Equipment Repair 101. Honestly, I think people give bad reviews because their equipment is not covered and want to blame someone. Get a second opinion like I did, rather than slam the pool repair company. Then, if the second company will repair it under warranty, then slam the HW company if they will not cover their "covered repairs." Thank you Mike and Aaron Pools for your honesty, integrity, and punctuality. I think you can request them with some warranty companies (mine is Old Republic). You saved us $3525!!!! I will refer as many of my friends to you as I can. read more

This is my second time using them through my warranty and it was as you would hope. They sent John out and he was as nice as their first tech Alex. You guys are terrible. I requested service to fix a leak last Thursday, you guys came out on Monday, supposedly made repairs. Still leaked, came out Tuesday send made repairs, still leaked. And when I called back, they said that they could not come back into next Tuesday! Couldn't even bump me up to the top of the list. No apologies or nothing. Spoke to the manager Mike and he was very condescending and was even cussing when I requested to be bumped to an earlier appointment since they are not able to fix my problem after coming out twice. "You want me to tell the rest of my customers to f*ck off?" He says. Well I am a customer and guess what you are telling me to do? What crappy service. You best believe that my warranty will hear about this. Update: Why would I want you to come back again, when you couldn't fix the problem after 2 visits, which I had to wait 5 days total for? Plus you did not offer next day Free, you said if there was a cancellation before next week, then I might could get a visit and that "I should be thanking you" for even getting that. I called a different pool company and they came out the next day and fixed the leak in one visit. Read the other 1 star reviews, they are all true. People do not complain about great service, but crappy service is a great motivator. What's funny is that the other pool company says that they hear complaints about Aaron Pools all the time! Also notice that we all spoke to Mike and were all greeted with the same condescending tone. Why would a bunch of strangers make the same remarks about a single person unless it's true? read more

I can't speak on other people's experience, all I can say is I had the most seamless experience with Josh from Aaron pools. He was seriously the best! This was a home warranty request, the company communicated with quickly after making the request, and Josh was right on time. Upon inspection he told me the issue he believed was at hand with my motor, and then went above and beyond to walk me through my pool system and best tips to take care of my pool. I opted for a cashout and I could have looked elsewhere to have someone else install a new pump, but my experience with them was so good they earned my business. I've had the unfortunate luck to have AHS send these guys out and every single time it has been a nightmare. They will say you caused the damage even if it's normal wear and tear, they must be getting kickbacks from AHS. I am going to file a BBB complaint, take to small claims court, etc. This is absurd! The technician said they'd work with AHS as it was clearly a fault in my pool heater and then he wrote notes stating otherwise (that the error had been going on for a long time even though I used the heater just last week with no error and called the very first time I received an error). Service tech had come out to my location on a Wednesday. Had to call back in on a Monday afternoon to request for the estimate sense I had not heard back. The home warranty that sent them out to work on my pool still hadn't received the estimate and would not except the estimate from me even though it's from the same compony they are waiting to hear back from. After multiple try's of the home warranty trying to get the estimate. I had to call Aaron pools again now to request them to send the estimate to the home warranty that hired them to help me. ((Unfortunately by this time it was already Friday after hour and could only leave a voice mail)). Come around another Monday and the same tech calls me asking why my location is on his schedule again. After explaining the mess. He was successfully able to send the estimate to the home warranty that called them out. Days later home warranty declined the work order due to the estimate. Explaining to me that the estimate they have received goes into greater detail then the estimate I was provided. Of course I instantly call Aaron pools back and request for the exact same estimate they have provided my home warranty. To no one's surprise, I never got another email with any additional or even duplicate estimate. read more
