Worst pool company that exists. I have worked with several pool companies in the past, and these guys are the absolute worst. Stay far far away. Selected by my home warranty company and now I am going to switch to another pool company. They dont update you, take weeks to replace a simple motor, send techs who dont know what they are doing as they probably pay them min wage, replace parts with used defective parts, and worst they dont show up. Do not use!! Both techs sent to my house were incompetent, trying to pass blame to the next trade and giving countless obvious reasons as to why my pool equipment was not working. I called for a repair, not a diagnosis... I could have diagnosed it, especially at their rates, it wasn't working properly. There! I would never recommend, if you are able to, keep moving on. First, Aaron pools was where our home warranty contracted for our pool filter to be replaced from. We had quick service but the parts and sand needed to be ordered. We paid an extra $100 for 300 lbs of sand to be delivered. The gentleman who installed told me I probably didn't want to go pick up and haul the sand myself, so I paid for him to do it. Little did I know my old filter and 300 lbs of sand wouldn't be hauled away. All equipment was left sandwiched between my house, concrete fence, and AC unit. Never did he tell me he wasn't going to remove it, nor offer for me to pay to have him take it away. The mess was left for us to clean up, our power box was left open, and the pump wasn't set back properly, like he told me it would be. I called today to discuss the mess left behind and was told that's what they do, if they remove the old unit, they saw the unit open and remove the sand. That would have been nice to know upfront. Not pleased with the woman who answered the phone today. She didn't offer anything other than, "well, that's our policy." update The owner did post to my reply. Thank you for your reply. I am going to change from 3 to 3 stars because you replied so quickly. My husband has told me that he'll cut the unit and remove the sand and dispose of it for us. My recommendation moving forward is that the customer would be told everything they need to know up front so they can expect to pay for the removal at the time or make arrangements to have it removed on their own. read more

I have had the most amazing experience with Arron Pools. My pool pump died my home warranty company said I killed it. I asked for a second opinion and they sent out Aaron Pools. AJ to be specific. Pros: Started our services with AP approx 2 1/2 years ago as they were scheduled through our home warranty. No issues with the fix or warranty, so we started weekly pool service on our very simple play pool. Cons: High turn over, poor customer service on the phone or in person - example: said the tech was at our house on Friday at 237pm, as u can see in our picture taken at 4pm, no baskets were cleaned. And on a Seperate occassion, i mentioned to the tech that our system was showing "low salt". He said he would take care of it, i watched him put chemicals into the pool and within 24 hours our pool was dark swampy green. Because our service was on fridays they did not come back out until Monday AFTERNOON to take a look at our pool that their person turned green. They did clean our salt cell and we had to run our pump for 72 hours straight to rectify the green pool. Aka: high electricity bill that month. Overall, if you actually see a tech show up they are here for less than 5 minutes, never the same one, dont complete the tasks they advertise for $80/month and you will be disappointed by the customer service you recieve when you call the office. We gave them a valiant effort & thousands of dollars but HIGHLY HIGHLY do NOT recommend & its time to move on. *** if below comment from Mike is referring to our call with the secretary Monday morning it was anything but pleasant considering how long we've been customers.. snarky & disappointing was more like it & the only discount offered was to not pay for last week when the tech clearly either no-showed or did nothing at our house** read more

Originally, Sunbright Pools was sent to my home by First American Home Warranty. The guy showed up and said he couldn't do anything, then took my money. Aaron Pools was sent as a second opinion and luckily Brent showed up. This guy was incredibly friendly, informative, knowledgeable and the exact opposite of the horrible person sent from Sunbright. Brent went above and beyond and fixed everything as well as some additional work that needed to be done for a very reasonable price. Brent was always timely (he had to make two trips), very communicative, and thorough...to the point that he recognized and fixed additional issues that I wasn't even aware of. He diagnosed the filters dirty so he said clean them and then left with his $150 service call. Called Presidential Pools, and they diagnosed clogged in floor cleaning jets and fixed the problem. Even the service tech said Aron Pools are crooks and lazy. I would have to agree. I would never use these crooks, Aron Pools again. Mike from Aaron pools came out, diagnosed it and replaced the part in the same day. $50 part instead of a $4,000 replacement. Difficult to find honest people these days. But I guess there standard operating procedure is just leave a thing that says no problem found and then leave. Never answer your calls or emails. It had been an on going issue ( we have had Aaron's pools out 2 times already for same issue), we have waited over 24 hours just to have an appointment set. The receptionist/office manage/manager was extremely rude to me and advised on each of my follow up calls she would call when she could schedule. Do not hire Aaron Pools! Aaron Pools has an overall 3 star rating with 56 of their 136 reviews rated them a 1 Star. Now I understand why they have such a poor rating. They have extremely poor service. They break equipment. They do not follow-up with their promises. The Office Manager is rude. On Tuesday, Old Republic Home Warranty informed me that they contacted Aaron Pools to repair my pool pump. On Wednesday, Aaron Pools sent a technician to repair my pool pump and unfortunately the technician did not bring a pump and said I had to wait until Friday for a refurbished or new pump. Immediately, after the technician left my house, I noticed that the separate pump for the waterfall was no longer working. It was working when the technician was diagnosing the other pool pump. I called the technician to return to my house to repair the waterfall pump. He said he was too busy and the earliest he could return was Friday. On Friday, I called the technician and he reconfirmed that he was supposed to return to my house to repair the waterfall pump; however, I had to call their Office Manager to be placed on the schedule. I called the Office Manager and she said she needed to speak to the technician and would call me back. I waited one hour and the Office Manager did not return my call so I called her back. She said she could not speak with the technician and will call me back. Since I did not hear from her after another 2 hours, I called her back. She said that they could not repair my waterfall pump on Friday and that I would need to wait until Monday. The temperature was over 100 degrees which was making my pool unswimmable. She was not empathetic. She said they were not responsible for the condition of the pool and to just dump chlorine in the pool. A few hours later, she said they will not repair my waterfall pump and install the pool pump. I will need to find another pool company. Old Republic Home Insurance sent Green 2 Crystal Clear Pools who replaced the pool pump in less than 24 hours. Now that is great service! Unfortunately, they could not repair the waterfall pump that Aaron Pools broke since that was separate from the original work order. Old Republic sent an electrician to repair the waterfall pump that Aaron Pools broke. Unfortunately, the electrician could not repair the waterfall pump so now I have to replace the 2nd pump too. Do NOT hire Aaron Pools unless you want them to break your equipment and provide awful service. read more

Aaron Pools was assigned to repair our spa heater by American Home Shield, our home warranty company. They not only were unable to make the repair, they botched up our spa heating system so badly it took me two years to find a company who had the competence and knowledge to get the problem straightened out. Mike, the owner, is a loose cannon. His attitude and behavior is unpredictable. He can fly off the handle at any time, depending, I guess, on whether his breakfast was good or not.
