I've had Jason taking care of my pool for going on 2 years now and I couldn't be happier with the service. Over the past 2 years, Jason has replaced my pool filter, installed a new VFD pump and motor and most recently installed a new pool heater. All the equipment that he's installed has significantly decreased both my monthly electric and gas bills (electric during the summer and gas during the winter when we're running the hot tub). Jason didn't try to sell me the most expensive equipment, but more importantly, he sold me the best solution for my pool's specific needs. Any time there's an issue with the pool or he sees a way to operate the system more efficiently, I get an email with his recommendations. He even came by the house the day after a storm, knowing that I had a pool party planned for the following day and vacuumed everything out and cleaned the filters. We moved from NY to AZ into a house with a pool. Having had no experience with pools we hired the company the previous owners recommended. It was not a great experience with them. A friend then told us about Jason and we called to set up a time for him to come out and look at our pool. He came out to meet with us at exactly the time he said he would be there. Inspected all the equipment and explained their function as well as pool chemistry. Jason has faithfully serviced our pool on a weekly basis and has done necessary repairs to the equipment which is fairly old at this point. We also had a pool light replaced through him. The new light failed approximately 11 months after being installed (due to a manufacturing defect) Jason went above and beyond to get the defective light replaced through his dealer and get us a new light. While Jason may not come on the same day of the week each week to service the pool due to varying work loads, He has never missed a week of service and he sends email communication to his customers when he will be off and may miss a week of service. I tried to keep my pool clean for years. It was working well till my little buddy vac died. I rebuilt it, but it was never the same. I struggled with the pool till I found Jason the Pool Guy. He came over and told me that my pool wasn't built for the vac, and that I have pop-ups. He gave me a price to replace all of the pop-ups of which it needed since I only had 2 out of 10, and they weren't working. We also replaced the pump of which it was due. The final price was exactly what he quoted, and everything he said to expect happened exactly like he said. The new pop-ups came with a lifetime guaranty, but the manufacture sent over a representative to see the pool and actually install the pop-ups for the guaranty. There was no extra charge, but the representative was saying that the pop-ups would clean the whole pool, but Jason said that there will be a couple of spots that the pop-ups couldn't reach, and I would would have to sweep that. I called Jason when my pool pump sprung a very bad leak. He came out right away, and I was very impressed. He looked not just at the pump, but at the whole system that I had in place, most of which is approximately 25 years old. He took the time to explain to me in detail how everything works, and I learned a whole lot about my system that I didn't know. From there, he recommended a replacement pump and a couple of other small repairs to get the pool running in optimal condition. He also made many recommendations for a long term strategy to replace and repair the rest of my 25 year old system, and make sure that all equipment is appropriately sized to work best together. He was able to come the very next day and do the installation. Everything went smoothly, Jason was a pleasure to do business with. Jason just finished a detailed and most professional 3 day project to replace 12 "Caretaker" pool popups that were installed 25 years ago and have not been working for the past 3 years. He also replaced the control valve for these popups. I must say Jason definitely knows his pool equipment trade! Moved into my first house that had a pool. Had an issue with the pump not working correctly. Jason found and fixed the issue in 15 minutes. It turned out the pool guy before had accidentally messed up some electrical wiring which luckily for me Jason tracked down and fixed. Took me around the rest of the time and marked all the pipes for me and marked the valves so I would know which valve was which and where I should set it if I ever needed to change something. Showed me how to properly chemically treat my pool and what to be looking for. Recommended best practices for maintaining my pool all year. I called him and was very pleased that I did! My pool cleaner was not working like it should have! The pool was starting to turn green and I was unable to maintain it on my own. So when I called Jason and he told me that he was able to remedy my situation I was quite happy. When he arrived he identified the problem, a failed pump.
