I hired Juan to clean our tile, drain the pool and power wash the pebble tee to remove the calcium residue after cleaning it off. The calcium levels in the pool were very high and it was time to get calcium buildup off. I called and he came by with his employee to give a quote quickly. They were friendly and professional on this day. On the day of the cleaning they arrived 1 hour late and the 2 workers began to clean the tiles. They took about 45-60min to blast my 40x20 pool- it was very fast. (previous time it took them 2 hours) They wet the tile down when they finished and sprayed down the sides with power washer. They were in/out of my property gate in about 90 minutes. I noticed when they power washed that the tiles were not sprayed just the pebbletec. They put the hose in the pool and left. The next day I noticed there was still a white haze on the tiles (which can't be seen when wet). I called Juan and asked him to fix this and he said they would. It was over the weekend so they came back Monday to make it right- which I greatly appreciated. Juan supervised the work this time and the tiles looked better after the second round but there was so much of the dust/debris in bottom of my pool now and I had paid $300 for them to drain it and have clean water and filters and now both the pool and the filter/pump was filled with junk. They had me run the vacuum and then they came back a few days later to clean out my filter pump, which left a huge mess all behind it when the debris drained from my pump. Ever since this happened, we have been having a lot of problems with the pump sucking in more air and shutting off unexpectedly. The skimmer baskets will suck the water down below water level and make loud noises- this never happened prior to them draining my pool. They fixed the air being sucked in when they came back the second time by trying to bleed air out of the lines but it just happens again after running the pump for several hours. Juan told me the pump had a bad seal but it was just replaced in November and we never had issues with it until they serviced the pool. I think what bothered me most was that we went to use the hot tub about 10 days after they serviced the pool and the hot tub light wouldn't work. So I called Juan to see if he could come back to troubleshoot the light not working and he got very angry on the phone with me telling me he "didn't like my attitude" and he was extremely defensive and started yelling at me. He refused to come back out and take a look at the problem, saying it was working when he left so the light must have just burnt out. We had paid them to change one of the main pool lights when the pool was drained and when the pool was re-started the hot tub light was constantly flashing through the light cycles and wouldn't settle on a single color. After I synced the pool lights, the hot tub light then would not work /come on at all. I called Juan to ask him to come and see what the light problem was- I figured maybe the wiring is loose or perhaps I am not syncing it properly? But early in the phone call, Juan got very defensive and verbally berated me and then raised his voice and started yelling at me. At some point he said we "should part ways" and that "he didn't want to do business with me" and then promptly hung up on me. THE WORST SERVICE and treatment I've ever received. The irritating part is that he wouldn't even let me explain the problem but was very defensive about everything. I can NOT recommend this company. Look elsewhere. I don't know if it's because I am a woman or if he just got angry that I was wanting another thing on the job made right, but either way- I won't be able to hire them ever again after being treated so rudely and with such disrespect. Juan and team have always been there for my pool needs. There has been a ton of issues since I moved into this house and Juan has taken on the challenges. Any time i need something or there is a leak or a weird noise, Juan and team show up same day to take a look. He is a fantastic communicator even with his busy schedule. He is a true business owner. Most times when I have an issue Juan comes out himself and fixes it. Pools are not always fun, and I have had my fair share of issues with mine, but Juan always finds a way to figure it out. A little late getting this review out, as OCD Pool Maintenance drained, bead blasted hard water deposits around pool tile, replaced pool light with micro bright LED light. Remodeled waterfall slate with split travertine right before Thanksgiving (completed within 2 weeks as promised). Bought a new house in Gilbert with a pool that needed drained, de-calcified, refilled and maintained. Called multiple companies who sent people but didn't follow through. Called Juan Friday, he came out Monday, sent someone to turn off the system and clean filters Tuesday, sent someone to drain Wednesday, sent someone to de-calcify and pressure wash Thursday, filled overnight, and came back himself this morning to put in startup chemicals and get us back in the pool by the weekend. He set a schedule and kept to it, which I really appreciate. His prices are competitive and he's very responsive. 5 stars. read more

Zero stars if I could!!! We Hired this company about 18 months ago to maintain our pool and hot tub. Things started off well but they went downhill, a new guy seemed to show up every week, no consistency. Long story short, we hadn't used the hot tub for a few weeks due to an injury my husband had, had family over on Saturday, opened the hot tub and it was a scummy green, disgusting, called right away but got no call back, this prompted us to take not only the hot tub water but also the pool water samples to a pool supply company, not only was there no chlorine in the hot tub but 16x the amount of chlorine in the pool and all levels are off to the point we had to drain the hot tub and may have to drain the pool as well. Obviously no one qualified checked the chemicals in either the hot tub or pool for a very long time! We sent a text that the company owner explaining this and that his services were no longer needed. Never even got an apology or response... he's been promptly paid in full monthly. Also, should be known that we also purchase a heater/chiller from this company that has been on heat mode for over a month, still can't use the pool, too cold and that thing was over 6k! read more

I would not recommend OCD Pool. Today, when I called to follow up with a question on prior maintenance, the owner started yelling at me that I didn't trust him. It was a surreal phone call. I have never been talked to with such condescension From someone I have hired for business. He basically charged me $20 for a door I didn't need and then yelled at me because my spa light isn't working after he reset the GFI. All I wanted was for him to take a look next time he came out. We had the, for not even a month. This past week, meaning we were always serviced on a Wednesday, noticed our pool water did not look right. The water was cloudy. We texted that the water was cloudy sent a text and someone came back out to add shock on Friday, we were grateful for that. Thursday thru Sunday the water was still cloudy. Texted on Saturday and no response. Then Sunday, July 12th, the water was still cloudy. I took the water to get texted at two different Leslie Pools on two different dates because the levels were off since Friday. I found out from Leslie Pools that the pool needed 5 oz of Pool clarifier to be added, my $20. I was instructed to pour it in and run for 3 to 4 hours. He said we also needed a little more shock but not to worry about it for now if my pool guy was coming this Wednesday. Well...today he sent us an email and cancelled service with us. Seriously! This company over promises and under delivers. I have used Juan's company for 2 years and their service has definitely deteriorated. They basically wet a pool strip, drop 4 tablets of chlorine, brush the sides of the pool and leave. The kids they send to maintain the pool are not properly trained to interpret the results from the strip or know to look for signs of black algae which I started having soon after the acid wash. Most recently I asked the pool kid what the black spots on the floor of the pool was and at the rim of the water level and he didn't know. (It was diagnosed as black algae by two other pool companies). They also are not good with maintaining the equipment. They have broken internal pieces of my actuator for popup heads and left the pieces on the floor never informing me it was not properly working. If you are currently using them, educate yourself on pool maintenance and if your gut tells you something doesn't look right, ask lots of questions. read more

OCD Pool Service is GREAT! Now I see why Leslie's Pool Supplies recommends them. Juan Campo came out the same day to inspect my pool equipment and determine why my pool vacuum stopped working. He adjusted the valves and fixed my vacuum at no charge. When I mentioned that my pool light was also not working, he took a quick look and fixed that as well. Also at no charge. Honest and reliable. It's been about a year since OCD pools finished the work our pool deck. I'm happy to report that the work held up to lots of pool parties, kids and dogs. My only complaint is that the finish is a bit slick when wet. Because of the slick surfaces the dogs slip when jumping in the pool, their nails have chipped the color in a few places. We assumed this would happen, as the concrete wasn't dyed but stained/painted. (Our choice)The workers left behind some touch up stain. If I had to do it all over I would opt for colored concrete. My suggestion to OCD pools, is to add an additive to your stain or top coat (such as play sand) to prevent the slick surfaces. I plan on doing this when I touch up the paint next week. I highly recommend OCD pools. They finished on time, within budget and demonstrated professionalism throughout the process.
