I was going straight on a green light and this car pulled right in front of me making a right but instead of going , they just stopped right in front of me in MY lane and i had to swerve in to the other lane to avoid hitting this person who obviously was in a hurry to get to another Job, I was lucky that no one was in the "left lane" or else this would of been a three car collision....... I had my twin baby's in the car at the time and it was so scary that they didn't stop crying till we got to we're we were going, which was their Pediatric Doctor. Don't use this company because there drivers seems to be in a hurry, and take no accountability to their actions ..... this driver should be "fired" for almost getting us Killed. When I called the company to let them know I almost hit there truck they showed no remorse, they just said sorry and was very condescending to me. Terrible service. I used these guys to drain my pool and do a chlorine wash. I was also talking with them about doing weekly service. Now my pool is a mess and they are very rude. They charged more than other services in the area and do not communicate very well. I contacted them about doing an acid wash. After they drained my pool, I asked about removing the hard water line on the tile. They were very vague with the response and then finally said they don't do acid washes, only chlorine washes and it would take days to get someone else out to do the acid wash. When I called to talk to these guys about these issues, Bryan responded rudely and said "it sounds like I'm blaming him for the trees in my backyard." When I'm hiring a pool guy and paying $100 a month, I expect them to skim the leaves out. That's a very basic service. read more

This started out well with the owner being responsive and answering all my questions. Then they just started doing stuff without permission and charging me for it and when I would bring it up said it needed to be done. Filter cleaning was $125 that I never agreed to! When I would question it they would give me a whole other list of what's wrong with my equipment to try and change the subject. When I called for the last time the owner blew up and said he can't call people over every little thing, so how many other people are being charged for things they didn't ask for? We have used a couple of pool companies since moving here a year ago. We have had 2 weekly cleans so far from Sunset Pools and I can tell you that so far our pool (and especially our spa) has never looked better! No other company that we have used would actually vacuum out the spa - in fact the last company told us that all the could do was turn on the spa and it should bring debris up to the top. Wrong! I would highly recommend Sunset Pool Care they are a new pool company I have decieded to use and they started with me in January 2021. My Pool Is sparkling clean everytime they leave. .I have this tree that is fairly close to the pool that sheds right into my pool which use to be a problem but since I hired Sunset Pool Care I hardly see any of the tree in the pool any more. I am also a new pool owner so I am learning how to care for the pool as we go and last week the power went out in the pool pump I called brian and he was nice enough to walk me through and there was no judgement as it was the simplist fix I felt kind of dumb it was just a switch I needed to turn on .. I've always maintained the pool but need a technician for troubleshooting and repairs. This summer has been crazy getting someone to answer the phone, let alone getting an appointment. Brent was available and listened and was understanding of the issue. When Brian came out he was quick and thorough while offering advice to keep the pool well maintained. The price was never discussed because all I wanted was an intelligent solution and I know Brian had the expertise as he quickly diagnosed the problem. DO NOT use this company. Zero communication and terrible service. The people that actually come out have zero clue what they are doing and if you need other services its WAY over priced. Our pool was way over chlorinated and you have to jump in the shower immediately after a swim. Hair and body super dried out from bad balance of chemicals. There answer to everything is just to over chlorinate. HORRIBLE!!! read more

We hired Sunset Pool Care for weekly maintenance of our pool after the owner, Brent repaired a part on our sand filter. Brent told us that he would be with the technician during the technician's first visit to our home. When the technician showed up for the first visit, Brent nor any other manager, accompanied the technician. We had emptied and refilled our pool two weeks prior and added the shock and initial chemicals. We had our water tested twice before the first visit, and our chlorine levels as well as other test levels were fine. When we received the email after the technician's first visit, it showed that 3 bags of shock were added! We then travelled for two weeks and each service email we received showed more bags of shock added to our pool! When we returned from our trip, I checked my pool and noticed that the backwash hose was missing, Brent told us that they would replace this hose. Additionally, our multi-speed pump was turned off. We run this pump 24x7, mostly at low speed to keep the pool water circulating. This was done at the advice of two pool experts. I called Brent and left him a VM Sunday night with questions about why was so much shock being added to my pool. If the chlorine level is low, then something is wrong with our chlorine dispenser, it does get clogged on occasion (Frogger system). I also asked about the backwash hose and why was the pump turned off. Brent returned my call on Monday morning. He did not want to address my questions, said that they didn't need to backwash the pool yet so that's why there was no hose, and that he did not want to be micromanaged. I was shocked at his arrogance and rudeness. As the "employer" for these services, I have a right to know why certain things have been done to my pool since my spouse and I have maintained our pool for over 15 years. I asked if the technician had checked the Frogger to see if it was clogged. Brent's reply was that they do not check on "old" equipment, in an arrogant manner. Brent then stated that they service 300 pools.....well now they only service 299! I do not recommend this company. Anyone can dump a bunch of shock in a pool and have sparkling water...to me, that does not constitute knowledgeable nor reliable pool service. read more

Very dishonest and poorly run company. They send a report at the end of every service that says they inspect all equipment however today the tech rang my doorbell at 7 am waking my baby without being scheduled so that they can add clarifier to my pool.. when i expressed the fact that my pool looks horrible the owner brent text me and says that my filter is not working properly? Even tho they have said for the past 4 weeks that they inspect my equipment and everything is fine? Then being the unproffesional he is Brent says we are not a good fit and they will not service my pool anymore.. Thers are hundreds of pool companies in the valley to choose from and I urge you to stay away from this horrible company. read more
