I didn't want to write this review, but unfortunately here we are. We had Pool Service Gilbert clean our pool for a couple years, no real problem there, until dirt started showing up in our pool all the time, even immediately after they cleaned. They recommended we hire a pin point leak detection company, who drained our pool and found no leaks ($650 down the drain). Separately, they recommended acid washing our pool and we trusted them when they said it would bring out the white in the pebble tec. Instead, we got unsightly streaks throughout our entire pool. We hired a new pool company who promptly found the source of the leaks (a twisted O-ring that happened when the previous company changed out the filter). Replaced it for $25 and no dirt since. But the ugly discoloration remains, and I've tried working with them to help me repair this, to no avail. I'm highly frustrated every time I look at the pool. read more

If you want to pay for a cloudy, dirty, GREEN water pool and then have the owner, Terrence, be defensive and rude to you, the customer with legitimate complaints, by all means JJJ is the service for you!!! We've been here 3 weeks and the pool went from sparkling to cloudy. The first week, Josh didn't even skim debris from the top. He comes, puts some tabs in the floatie, does a poor job of removing debris, cleans the trap and leaves the skimmer lying on the ground instead of putting it back where he found it. Visible piles of dirt remain on the pool floor. No vacuuming in over 3 weeks despite the obvious need. A black line is formed at the water level. After calls of concern about the level of service, Terrence doesn't really care. He's defensive and unapologetic. I'm disgusted by this companies blatant disregard for their customers. All these good reviews in a relatively short period of time seem very suspicious. Is there a difference between GilbertPoolService.com and .org? You should see the other Yelp page. read more

Pool Service Gilbert has raised their prices four times in the last year (from September 2020 to September 2021) I understand that the price of chemicals has increased but not as much as to justify this many increases in price. read more

Terrence, the owner, was super understanding and was able to send someone out same day! What a relief. Phil came to the house and was very professional, courteous, and efficient! We did need to replace the heater, but we feel the price was extremely fair for immediate service of the caliber we received. Before Terry, I never trusted my pool guy was doing his job week to week and at times thought I was being overcharged. After complaining to my friend all the time about the lack of service I was receiving, a friend of mine referred me to Terry. He's been nothing short of perfect for me. When he says he's going to be there he is there promptly and always with a smile. Over the summer last year, Terry pointed out that two of my pop-ups weren't working and needed to be replaced. He gave me a bid, but I thought I could do it for less. I went down to the Lesley's to pick up the parts and it turns out Terry's bid was more than fair and I didn't have to do the work myself. We just sold our home and needed a leaking valve replaced for our pump that runs our water feature. We were under the gun to meet a deadline to have several items repaired within the time allowed. I had already called, left messages, sent emails and requested quotes via Yelp for three other local pool repair companies and received no responses. Not even a server-generated "we got your email".
