On multiple occasions, I had to notify the owner when the filter pressure became excessively high, resulting in cloudy water and reduced circulation. In one instance, I backwashed the filter myself after documenting a 25 PSI reading, reducing it to 15 PSI. On another occasion, I notified the owner that the pressure had reached 21 PSI, and he came out the following day to backwash the system. I also noticed instances where the filter pressures documented in the emailed service reports did not match what I found when I inspected the pool the following day. Those discrepancies prompted me to contact the owner to better understand why my observations differed from what had been reported in the service records. The final issue occurred after a service visit when the emailed report stated the backwash valve would not turn and recommended replacement. When I inspected the equipment later that day, I found the backwash handle detached from the valve housing and immediately sent the owner photos and messages asking about the discrepancy between the service report and what I found. I never received a response to those messages. When I called the following day to discuss the situation, the conversation ended with the owner discontinuing service. I understand that pool equipment can fail over time, and I wasn't expecting perfection. What disappointed me most was the lack of communication when I raised legitimate concerns backed by photos and observations. I was simply looking for an explanation of the discrepancies and an opportunity to resolve the issues professionally, but instead my concerns went unanswered and our service relationship ended.

The problem is: Mike admits freely that he does not do pumps at all...Makes you wonder? With his focus an brushing and chemicals only, he did not even adjust the pumps from winter setting of 6 hours to summer setting of 12 hours and the result was: Algae in the pool. And worst: He did not even notice the algae! After he screwed up the chemistry of the water, he shocked the pool three times per month (charging for that), bought a new floater (old one is still good and in use), charged for that as well, and then canceled one day after I paid the exaggerated bill and sold the pool route for a high four digit sum to another company. And increased the price the other company paid to him by stating a false amount of my payments.

Many did not return calls or sent quotes I felt where too expensive. I did receive a call from one located in Gilbert who was very honest and explained what he felt I needed and what it should cost. He told me he does not travel to my area, since he has enough work in his town. He was honest and helpful. I finally found Trusted Pools thru a neighbor. She just had Trusted Pools service her pool and was happy. I called them and immediately got a return call from Trindal. I explained what I wanted and she recommended a chlorine wash versus acid wash as my pool did not have any stains, just dirt from 4 years of use. They also bead blasted my tiles to remove the scales. I was very impressed with this family owned business. They are honest and fair in their prices. After talking to my neighbor who referred me, I too signed up for their monthly service. It may seem more expensive them the large companies, but, there are no hidden fees. The monthly service includes drain pool every 4 years, all chemicals, vacuum, brush, etc. From the first call to having a clean fresh looking pool was only a week!

Chris fees were more than reasonable and Chris and his staff make you feel like family. Forthcoming, trustworthy, tells it like it is! That was about 6-7 years ago. We contacted Chris again to resurface the pool deck, repair the deck drain, remove the diving board and caulk around the pool. All this work done in a timely manner, very flexible on schedule ie: weather conditions high heat temperatures, monsoons, but we finally are done with our pool.
