So we called around and Brennan Pool Care was who we chose to help us get our pool back up and running. After that day we kept using them on a regular basis. Danny runs his business with integrity and honesty. He's done bigger jobs for us like changing out the sand in the filter and replacing our pool pump - both times he charged a fair and honest price and did the job well. When he replaced the pool pump, he actually told us to re-write the check because we had overpaid by $110. He could easily have kept that and we would not have known the difference! Many times if small parts break, he will tell my husband where to order the part at the best price and tell him that he should change it himself for cost savings. Super honest. Super Ethical. Super friendly. And I have a beautiful pool year round without having to worry about it!

All butterflies and roses until you actually realize- they charge you an hour labor for repairs…read morewhich take 10 minutes. As a long time customer, I was floored once the pandemic hit, I was home more so I saw the said repair- timed it-10 minutes- and was promptly billed an hour at $80. Now, you might think its a required minimum fee, but do that math, you realize they are smiling while screwing you. Its just wrong. Also, beware, in the middle of a seemingly great relationship, they may decide at one weeks notice to " change the service area" and stick you with a new pool company in your " area". Its a company they decided was good- without any notice or permission to give all your personal info, including phone number to. It was odd and awkward as a customer. These two situations, really sour what they present as a customer service focused company. Also, specifically Alyssa Brennan- she does all the scheduling, she is also sweet as pie until you actually are in need, and her communication over time gets less friendly and more demanding.

I noticed a…read morecouple tiles coming loose and called to give them the business since they had previously worked on the pool. I was outside of the 3 year warranty that they offered by about 6 months, but had no problem paying for the work. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant each time I called, but it took several attempts over several weeks to get a call back from someone who could assist. Each time she said she'd pass my info on and I'd hear back when they (I believe the owner, but I can't say for sure) returned. I finally got ahold of someone and scheduled an appointment for them to come out and repair the tiles. I changed my work schedule around to accommodate their appointment window and they never showed. I called towards the end of the window and then again afterwards. I left voicemails each time to try to find out if they were still coming. Nobody answered and I never received a call back. I strongly suggest giving your money to a business that wants and appreciates it.

For a family-run business, their prices on quotes are extremely fair…read more David and Edward met with me and went through various solutions of my pool problem. My pool was built in the '80s and was not up to code, it split around the perimeter halfway down the water level and I lost over 10,000 gallons of water. It used to be a 22,000 gallon pool and by talking with David and Edward, we agreed on a better repair solution, also to half the amount of water that we would need after it was finished. At this time of year in Arizona, the temperatures exceed 100° f. Their crew was friendly and respectful of property, they had to work in this horrible heat, but they had no complaints. The crew even stayed past their normal finish time so that they wouldn't have to come in the next day and disrupt me and my dogs. Throughout the entire process, Andrew kept me up to date and gave me a few more ideas on pool design. This family-run business also collaborates with other companies to ensure the process is done correctly and up to code. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the end result, now bear in mind this was a pool repair company and a pool design company, they could have finished the entire pool, but I already had a different company on standby and they completely understood. There was no pressure to finish the entire pool with their company, which to me means that they are a very honest family-run business. I would highly recommend this family business for your pool needs.

We hired Innovative for a significant landscape and pool renovation project and, unfortunately, our…read moreexperience fell well short of expectations. The project ultimately ran approximately 1 1/2 years beyond the original anticipated timeline. Throughout the process, we dealt with multiple project managers, inconsistent communication, and numerous instances where completed work had to be redone. This included portions of the tile/travertine work in both our courtyard and backyard. Many of the pieces are still cracked and chipped. We also experienced significant issues with the landscaping. Many of the plants died within the first six months, irrigation/waterlines had to be corrected, and we found ourselves making many of the plant selections rather than receiving the level of design guidance we expected. Permitting was another area that required considerable follow-up on our part, including gas permits that were never properly completed. Unfortunately, some of the issues went beyond delays and inconvenience. On August 15, 2025, drainage and grading problems resulted in flooding that caused more than $12,000 in damage. We ultimately filed a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, and drainage/piping corrections were completed in November 2025. The only way to get them to repair the issues that they refused to correct and said was not part of their scope of work, even though they fully demolished and rebuilt the entire front and back landscape, was by filing a complaint with the ROC and having a demand letter sent to them. With that being said I highly recommend that you check their current standing with the Maricopa County ROC as they have one of their licenses revoked. We also experienced issues with the pool, including a significant chip in the pebble tec that required the pool to be drained and repaired, followed by the cost and inconvenience of filling it again within the first year.l, which we had to pay out of pocket for refilling of water and chemicals. There were certainly aspects of the finished project that we liked, which makes the overall experience especially disappointing. With a project of this size and expense, we expected stronger project management, communication, quality control, and follow-through. Even after the construction issues were addressed, we continued to experience difficulty with follow-through. At the time of this review, Innovative is approximately four months delinquent on a written payment agreement related to our project. I recognize that large construction and landscape projects can encounter unexpected challenges. However, the combination of the extended timeline, repeated rework, permitting and drainage issues, property damage, and ongoing follow-through concerns made this a very difficult experience for our family.
