In looking around at other online groups, I noticed that he was the owner of a pool business. I checked reviews everywhere and everyone loved his friendliness and expertise. We had a broken pump and needed it replaced quickly in the Phoenix heat. Shawn answered my questions and gave me recommendations outside of business hours and scheduled our repair to happen in 36 hours. He came out this morning, was fast, efficient and super friendly to work with. We now have a great new pump and the pool is clean again! He sent me a receipt for my payment the same day and also filed for a rebate for me. Gold star service. He knows Hayward and Pentair and I'm sure he works with others too. He also has a year round pool cleaning service (which I haven't used, but I'd recommend just based on Shawn being in charge of it). Thanks again, Shawn. I'm sure we'll be calling you again next time we need assistance.

So we called around and Brennan Pool Care was who we chose to help us get our pool back up and running. After that day we kept using them on a regular basis. Danny runs his business with integrity and honesty. He's done bigger jobs for us like changing out the sand in the filter and replacing our pool pump - both times he charged a fair and honest price and did the job well. When he replaced the pool pump, he actually told us to re-write the check because we had overpaid by $110. He could easily have kept that and we would not have known the difference! Many times if small parts break, he will tell my husband where to order the part at the best price and tell him that he should change it himself for cost savings. Super honest. Super Ethical. Super friendly. And I have a beautiful pool year round without having to worry about it!

As a long time customer, I was floored once the pandemic hit, I was home more so I saw the said repair- timed it-10 minutes- and was promptly billed an hour at $80. Now, you might think its a required minimum fee, but do that math, you realize they are smiling while screwing you. Its just wrong. Also, beware, in the middle of a seemingly great relationship, they may decide at one weeks notice to " change the service area" and stick you with a new pool company in your " area". Its a company they decided was good- without any notice or permission to give all your personal info, including phone number to. It was odd and awkward as a customer. These two situations, really sour what they present as a customer service focused company. Also, specifically Alyssa Brennan- she does all the scheduling, she is also sweet as pie until you actually are in need, and her communication over time gets less friendly and more demanding.

They recommended we hire a pin point leak detection company, who drained our pool and found no leaks ($650 down the drain). Separately, they recommended acid washing our pool and we trusted them when they said it would bring out the white in the pebble tec. Instead, we got unsightly streaks throughout our entire pool. We hired a new pool company who promptly found the source of the leaks (a twisted O-ring that happened when the previous company changed out the filter). Replaced it for $25 and no dirt since. But the ugly discoloration remains, and I've tried working with them to help me repair this, to no avail. I'm highly frustrated every time I look at the pool.

I was outside of the 3 year warranty that they offered by about 6 months, but had no problem paying for the work. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant each time I called, but it took several attempts over several weeks to get a call back from someone who could assist. Each time she said she'd pass my info on and I'd hear back when they (I believe the owner, but I can't say for sure) returned. I finally got ahold of someone and scheduled an appointment for them to come out and repair the tiles. I changed my work schedule around to accommodate their appointment window and they never showed. I called towards the end of the window and then again afterwards. I left voicemails each time to try to find out if they were still coming. Nobody answered and I never received a call back.
