I can't describe the relief Denton at TWELVE POOL SERVICE has brought me. In August my Husband had an eight cm PNET (Pancreatic) Cancer Tumor removed via Whipple Surgery. He is 71/11 years older than I and we were very active. Corvette club, Motorcycle trips, competition shooting. I love Archery and Swimming with my Mermaid Tail (monofin) helps my back fusion. We came home in September 2025 after six weeks in hospital to a green pool. I had to drain it (the client?) In October after pushing my pool contractor about mosquitos. I was also feeding medication daily into a PIC LINE to my husband's heart in my bed. Not the extra stress or expense I needed when filling it up as well. No one wants that water bill in Mesa. I was lucky if my pool people came out twice in one month from November to March, but I was still billed. I let them know my pool was looking cloudy/dirty again early March. Got crickets or excuses. My Husband always took apart and cleaned the panel filter. It would take 30 minutes. I didn't know how to do it. I was told my system was too old (it's a 30 y/o Paddock Pool and I can't even get the Scottsdale office to c/b!). My husband took a turn for the worst and went back in the hospital. I didn't see the pool guys come three weeks straight on my ring camera. I went home, pool was green. I was met with more excuses. Promises were made the boss would come out and not met. I was afraid it was green/black algae this time. Literally didn't matter. No pool guys and more excuses! I bought a sand filter, 150lbs of sand/bags, new filter panels for my pump, hoses, new shock, chlorine cakes ect. $500 (Amazon) of stuff. My Adult Son and I worked for 72 hours straight trying to kill the bloom. He is a Disabled Army Veteran, can't bend one leg. I was just done. For a client to have to do this before a contractor will (maybe) come put new clean filter panels in is absolutely wrong. I needed to be with my husband. I needed a clean, safe pool for therapy for my back. It's against City of Mesa Code to have a Green pool! I needed a Contractor who cared about the Client and who does their job. I called Denton. 9 1/2 hours after he CLEANED my filter panels (no replacing needed) my pool is a bit cloudy, but it is BLUE!! Denton was quick, understanding, not ready to blame it all on me, solid plan from the start, so reasonably priced I thought I was hearing things and he will be back in a couple of days to check out my pop ups (I have 3 sets). I have found Denton to offer the least amount of customer service that he can get away with, although the prices he charges would indicate a "full service" kind of company. For example, I purchased an item of pool equipment from Twelve Pools at full price (although I could have purchased it elsewhere for less and done the work myself. When the unit started showing an error message, Denton couldn't be bother to come and take a look at the problem. Instead, I was advised contact the manufacturer myself and make a warranty claim. Why did I pay full price for no service? And, assuming the manufacturer honors the warranty, I still stuck doing all of the work myself. That means I would have better off doing it myself in the first place and saving $$$. read more

Started using Denton several years ago. We had used another pool cleaning company and when they did a drain and cleaning of the pool, they took several weeks to remove the pump and hoses. then they said I was too picky when I wanted them to clean up the mess and said that they did not want to work for us anymore. looked online for pool cleaning services near me and called Denton. He came over within an hour and was ready to work. The services have grown, and we are very pleased with all that they do for us. read more

If you look at Denton's response to me below you will note MORE sarcasm and discontent. Frankly sir Denton, with the attitude you possess I'm not sure how you've gotten business, much less RETAINED it. And judging from OTHER negative customer comments regarding your business via Yelp regarding the way you do customers, there is a definite need for some serious reflection ON YOUR PART. When I hired Denton for weekly pool service, which included cleaning the skimmer basket, inline filter and pump filter, everything was fine, but as the months went on, the filters were not getting cleaned out, when I approached Denton about this problem, his response was, we don't have time to clean every filter and don't tell me how to do my job. I paid for the weekly pool service, which included filter cleaning. I understand if there was very stuff in the filters than Denton wouldn't have to clean them out, but there were time there was a lot of leaves in the filters , for which I ended up cleaning them out, but this should have been done on the weekly pool service. Denton didn't handle this matter professionally, his motto is, do a quick job not a good job. read more

This pool service acts like they are God's gift to the world. You are "only $100 dollars a month." They were good for the first year when a different pool guy serviced our property never a problem then after switching weekly service people they suddenly felt that my service dog was now a problem when he barked. We normally kept our dog locked up but once in awhile I forgot and the guy would normally message to make sure he was put in. If he had messaged or knocked on the door we had people home. I hate when people dramatize what really isn't true. However, they tried to say my dog barked at him and would attack and his worker had to back out of my property and was a threat. Reality is I have cameras everywhere and he is a pansy and NONE of that is true. No call to talk about it, just fired himself from our property. Great, be gone but people should know those that work for him are lairs I have all the video needed to show. He doesn't care about you or the monthly business don't give this business your money they don't care. Whenever we tried to communicate he treated us with ARROGANCE and attitude. He is entitled and thinks of you as merely a pinion. Don't bother. You will be sorry. read more
