I received a discount on my home insurance for purchasing this system interest free so the equipment pays for itself. The system works great . The cameras are nice and clear and I can easily zoom in. The installers were wonderful! Very professional. They spent a lot of time explaining my system and I never got the feeling they were trying to get the job done and get out, instead they went out of their way to make sure I understood everything completely and they explained each step of what they were doing in the house and where they had to drill. Great customer service experience and very happy with the equipment. read more

Mr. Soukmang, provided professional service in the installation of our system. He was very knowledge when asked various questions about the product and how various things worked. He reached the top of the charts when being patient as he guided us through the workings of the system. I would recommend him to anyone who needs this system. Thank you very much for your service. We will never forget your kindness. read more

My installer did everything as requested in my order. Additionally, he mentioned a product that I should've ordered originally so I okayed it on the spot and he had all the parts with him for me. He was very patient with me and very nice to my dogs. My only tiny issue was that the panel could not be placed on a wall where I would have liked it to go. Instead, he gave me a standing portable panel that can be placed anywhere. Also, I found AAA's prices very reasonable. I bought during a 50% off sale. read more

I recommend them as a home security partner . They are great to work with on solutions for home security.

I wanted to update my review. After posting my review , I was contacted quickly about the situation. Robin contacted me and looked into my account and everything that had happened. I received a call back the very next morning. Robin was able to go over my account and resolve the issue and was very apologetic. I understand AAA home security is fairly new. Hopefully all of these issues including call wait times etc. will get resolved and things will improve.. I didn't have much luck with the main number for home security however Robin was able to take the time to figure this out and really seems to care about customers instead of a lot of the other people I spoke with. Big thank you to Robin! read more

Easy to work with for designing security system. Brando was great for installation, very flexible and polite. read more

I had my AAA Smart home security system installed yesterday. My installer Alan showed up right at 8 AM. He was there for seven hours installing my cameras, my doorbell. My entry sensor showed me how to use them really spend a lot of time getting to know comfortable with him system then showed us how we could contact them it should we need further help I couldn't be more pleased. It went so well. My husband was very skeptical but afterward was so happy that we did it. read more

I am sending this positive review because of the outstanding customer service that I recieved from Jeff Furtado, A3 Smart Home Technician. Since I was having the alarm panel replaced the first thing Jeff asked me was where it was plugged in. I was never shown or told after the original installation where any of the device A/C adapters were plugged in at. Jeff went on a search for them. I was shocked that he found the plug up in the attic. Jeff was very thorough, courteous and patient in answering my questions and as he explained the new app features. He was respectful of my property as well. read more

We just had our system installed so I will try to return after we have had weeks/months to experience the system in action. But being a AAA member and receiving that discount, plus a 40% sale on equipment that happened to pop up right as we went through our decision process made AAA SHS an obvious choice, almost bringing it down in price that would be comparable to a DIY system from SimpliSafe, which I considered as well. But since I decided on AAA, they have been very proactive in following up. Contacted by my sales rep and another rep that both offered themselves as my go-to for any questions or issues that came up before/during/after install. Day of install came and Rudy showed up right on time and got to work. He was very professional and knowledgeable and after install showed me how to work everything, got me all set up with the A3 Smart Home app (which utilizes the Alarm.com platform) on my phone as well as with the touch screen display that came with the system. An electrician is going to have to come out to do some wiring changes so that one outdoor patio camera, and our video doorbell can be installed, but other than that, everything went smoothly and seems to be working well. I have seen other reviews that speak of problems post-install, so I will be sure and return and either add addendum, or create another entry once I have some experience using the system. read more

AMAZING! i can't say anymore about the installation. Doug and Billy gave me a call and let me know their ETA so I knew how far they were. They came in and were very professional throughout our conversation. They walked the house with me and I gave them my input and they helped me with their professional advice as well. We agreed on the layout and off to work they went. QUICK AND EFFICIENT. Their installation work was clean with minimal holes and I loved that. Thank you Doug and Billy for your amazing work today. You guys were awesome! Now I wait a few weeks to know if I love this purchase or not. AAA, do not fail me now! read more

This is theeeee worst system ever. DO NOT buy it as the product and equipment are misrepresented and it is NOT compatible with any Alexa, Google, and type of voice associated AI system. They tell you the motion detector has a range of 20 feet, it is 7 feet, and that is nuts and it doesn't reset for 15 minutes. The cameras also have poor range and none of them have flood lights. You cannot change entry/exit doors/windows to a "beep beep" - only option is a voice and if it's near a bedroom, that is horrible. The notifications and doorbell assistance are terrible and nothing is compatible to an Apple Watch. The sensors are ugly and obtrusive. DON'T DON'T buy it. Huge waste of money and they misrepresent the equipment and state you cannot cancel . read more

This is a case of there are not many other options so they will treat their clients poorly. I requested a service I thought they provided. The dispatcher took the information and told me no problem they can take care of it. The technician arrives, says they don't do fire install systems and would let the home office know to cancel the service call and not charge. But of course they charge me, and when I called to let them know I should not have been charged, they researched it and said they could tell by GPS that the technician was there 10 minutes so they will just charge me half of the service price. It absolutely meant nothing that they sent out a technician knowing they don't even offer that service. And they absolutely didn't care that the tech didn't do a single thing for me as well as it clearly being their error. Unfortunately over the years I have referred three family members and two friends to them. It's time for the six of us to start researching alternate alarm system monitoring companies. read more

I'm very helpful and very polite Young men. Super excited to have this installed. I highly recommend using AAA even the young lady at the office was very helpful. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Had a service ticket to fix 2 cameras that weren't working as well as a garage door opener interface. The guy that came had no clue what he was doing, what the problem was, or how to fix it. Then they billed me $351.00 for doing nothing. They closed my account when I didn't pay for the "service" call. Hasn't been the same since AAA purchased Safeguard. Switching to another Alarm.com dealer. read more

Beware of false quotes from this company. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade my system and lower my monthly monitoring charges by around $20 per month. Instead I got some cock and bull story about a new rate which is about $10 more per month than I was quoted. I wasn't aware of this rate increase until after the installation was complete. In fact with all the additional equipment they sold me I am now paying $34 per month more than I was before this marvelous upgrade. Not worth it. Just an addition to my original review. It will be interesting to see if Ashley actually follows up. I have been a Safeguard customer for probably 20+ years. Well Ashley and another person from AAA actually followed up but unfortunately could not help. So far I have advised 2 friends who were also looking to update their security systems to look elsewhere. They both went to ADT. read more

Brian was absolutely fantastic. He showed up right on time and finished his work very quickly and professionally. He also found additional ways to help us optimize our system during the install. He made lifelong customers out of my wife and me. Get that man a holiday bonus! read more

Just can't speak about how well this process went . I had a great experience with Nadene when I first purchased product at the Roseville. To the installers who came my home Derek and Jason, the clean and professional installation. The value and support you get is well worth the money, considering their cost is compared to other competitors. Derek and Jason walked me through , the system and made sure I had a great understanding before the left. Thanks again read more

This service definitely works well, but we wary of the total cost of ownership. For a service that is intended to be permanent, they do not stand behind the hardware for very long...one year only. Then you will be nickel and dimed to death anytime there is a problem with THEIR system! Labor charge here, labor charge there....Isn't it THEIR responsibility to make sure their stuff works beyond a year? $125 and hour is pretty steep for something that customers shouldn't have to pay for. So, the $34.99 per month is misleading because you start paying for maintenance the second year, and it never stops. They should raise their price and support their system, then people can make good choices. read more

I spoke to Ty R. customer service from Tempe, AZ. Ty did an outstanding job of providing pricing for a new project with outside cameras etc. I was really happy to speak with Ty who gave me excellent information. I think AAA is a great organization and I have been a customer with their road service for many decades. The above is the good part. I have a serious concern after reading through the YELP ratings. The majority are 5 star ratings, but the 1 star ratings are enough to knock the overall rating to a level that is not acceptable to me. I would love to know what percentage of the 5 star ratings are actually valid indeed. Like I said earlier, I think AAA is a great organization, but I have concerns about their recommended Smart Home Security. Best of Luck to All! read more

WORST company EVER! A 'tech' came out a week ago to upgrade our radio - then on Sat and Sun received noticed the signal was not going through. The idiot came back out today and spent hours here only to leave with a system completely broken. My doors and windows have no chime/alarm when opening!!! I don't even know if any of the security works but with this piece not working I am sure none of it is. DO NOT USE AAA - they are clueless. And their customer service is a big ZERO - offered absolutely ZERO solutions read more

So glad I pay for an alarm that often goes offline. After speaking to a tech I am told that the system needs to be upgraded before it will work again. So basically they want more money. Glad I have other means of securing my home. I use Bay Alarm for work, looks like it's time to make a change. I do not recommend this company! read more

We had a hardware problem with our alarm system. We were without monitoring for a month. AAA said that they would waive all of the costs. Then I get a bill two months later with charges that were supposed to be waived . They were fine when it was Safeguard. UPDATE: Thanks to Robin for contacting me about this review, listening to my side of the story, reviewing the company contact files and then providing an adjustment to the bill. Robin contacted me after these steps were taken and validated my complaint and informed me of the resolution. Thanks Robin! Because of your efforts, we have a sense of restored confidence in AAASmartHome. Thank you!! Also, thanks to the techs who did a great job on the repair once they had the right equipment in their hands. read more

While away for the weekend, my AAA Smarthome security system was armed and my house was broken into. They broke my glass slider in the master bedroom where I had a glass break sensor mounted on the ceiling. The sensor clearly failed as the alarm never activated. I called AAA Smarthome as soon as they opened and explained what happened and wanted an answer as to why the detector failed. Was told they'd get back to me in 15mins. No call back. Called again the following day. They were in a meeting and would call back after meeting. That was 2 days ago. I've since cancelled my service and will be switching companies. This situation was awful for so many reasons. If they simply returned my call, figured out where the problem was, maybe they could keep me as a customer. Lack of a callback in this type of situation is completely unacceptable. DO NOT USE AAA SMARTHOME. read more

I've had my Smart Home system for a little over 6 months now. I made the choice to go the self-install route and I'm so glad I did. The set up was so easy!! I've gotten so used to my Blink and Ring system and totally didn't realize that there was better, higher quality systems like AAA Smart Home out there. My parents have been AAA Members for 50+ years. Now I need to tell them about the new line of business with Smart Home. I love it! Great job AAA read more

I had my home security system installed yesterday. Brandon, the technician, was great. First, he ran all the tests. Then he walked me through the details and answered all of my questions. After the installation, he walked me through the system, both in home and online, and answered more questions to make sure I was comfortable. Evem when I had a small user issue. I called him to ask about it, and he returned to my home to address it. Great work. AAA has never let me down. read more

The guy that installed my system was one of the most competent, kind, quick and thorough people I've ever dealt with. I hope this company values him. The product is good and I am excited to have all this protection now. I am a technology guy and I approve of the type of system that they have set up here. Again, I hope you treat this installer with a most respect and if you lose him, you will be losing a huge part of your customer contact assets. Manuel from AAA Smart home made everything look easy. He consulted me before every placement and was knowledgeable and patient with my many questions. He informed me upfront how much time it would take for the installation and went over my order before starting the install to avoid complications later. If i'm being honest, AAA was not my first choice but with their thanksgiving specials, I got a kick ass deal and went for it. So far so good and my only call out is the voice command is too fast. I am use to the slow calm voice of the other competitor A** but hopefully will get use to this voice or maybe AAA will come up with some voice options that are slow and easy to understand read more

Absolutely terrible home security company. Lock you into a lengthy contract and then when your service is lacking they charge you for repairs and replacements. Spoke to one person about replacing sensors that she assured would be mailed for self replacement at no cost. 4 months later they never arrived. Now someone else I spoke to is saying I have to pay $150 for the sensors that I was previously told were free. Additionally, they said to have them installed there is an additional fee. Smoke detector hasn't worked since we've had it. Get your home security elsewhere! read more
