The security system already existed in the house I bought and had been working fine so I decided to keep it. When I signed the contract, Alert 360 sent Mark out to check out the system (at no cost to me). Mark checked everything to make sure it was all working properly. He was really helpful in educating me on the system - the distress call, the fire call, the panic call, he helped me change the code, he taught me tips on the keypad, he e-mailed me the long lost manual so I would have it. If you are deciding whether or not to hire Alert 360, I hope you read this review: The original technician made a few mistakes that caused some headaches for me. Mistakes happen, but what I care about is how a company responds to those mistakes. Mark and the folks at Alert 360 genuinely cared about solving the problem. I was legitimately frustrated and Mark listened and let me be frustrated. He wasn't defensive. He just wanted to solve the problem. At the end of the day, he made sure everything was resolved and that the cost was covered. I am very impressed by Mark and his company. We bought our alarm from Craig at CSG. He was very knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. We had a lot of them! He has many years of experience in the industry he said, and it really shows. He explained everything in detail and did not try and push us into packages we did not need or want. Very honest guy. The system was installed smoothly and Jeff was awesome. We also had a lot of questions for him! He was a real pro. He noticed our dog and moved one of the motions upstairs facing the master bedroom, where it would not catch the dog going up the stairs. Even though they are pet immune motions he said, they can catch the dog going upstairs from the upper beams of the motion detector. Smart guy and very professional. He helped us install the Smart apps to our phones too, so no matter where we are we can control the system. We trust our home and family to this company, upon recommendations from friends and family and they came through big time. We will definitely recommend them to everyone. read more

I called Central Security because one of the sensors in my security system was always being bypassed. When I requested the service call, the person told me there'd be a $25 service fee UNLESS it was determined there was an problem with the equipment. The tech came out and checked out the system and found the bedroom door sensor was at fault so he replaced it. Unfortunately, my daughter who was at home to cover the call didn't challenge the tech when he asked her to pay the $25, so she paid it. I called back afterward to get that amount refunded and got an entirely different story -- the $25 is ALWAYS changed and they certainly would NOT refund it. No, it's not a huge amount of money, but if they can't keep to their word and are rude on calls then they don't deserve a recommendation. If I weren't under contract, I'd change security companies immediately just for their lack of integrity. When my contract is up, I will NOT be renewing... ADDITIONAL INFO / UPDATE (9/15/2016): Changing from 1 star to 4 stars. Spoke with Jimmy today and he addressed my concerns and refunded the $25. He also promised to ensure his call staff is clear on the process so misinformation isn't given to customers in the future. I appreciate them closing the loop on this. read more

OMG I am so frustrated with Alert 360. False alarm 3 times in one weekend. Law Enforcement responded two of those times. Call for service was a farse. They offered a tech service all but not for 5 days ... so my property had to be unprotected for 5 days! I said that was unacceptable. The contacted me and offered a service call in two days ... better. But then oppps they called and said that was a mistake and they could come out in 3 days. As I am 2 months into a 3 year contact I felt I had no other choice than to accept that appointment. But wait ... the tech no-showed. Another call to Alert 360. Offered another appointment in 5 MORE DAYS! ... So in the meantime my property is either unprotected or a risk more false alarms ... This company is awful! I contacted John as he was referred to me by my aunt. She's has had Alert 360 for almost 4 years and has never had a problem. She gave me John phone number as she's kept in touch with him for upgrades. I wanted to cancel my contract after the 3 year agreement ended. The company noted that the contract auto renews after that time. The salesman said it goes month to month. That was a lie. The contract states it can be cancelled, with notice. The truth is, you must give notice prior to the the auto renew for another year or you're locked in again. The companies only solution was for me to send them $400 plus to release me from the new one year contract. I'm sick of being roped into these contracts and having to pay for them to service their own equipment. I already pay them $40 a month and they charge me to fix their product? Their are so many other options out there that don't require contracts, charge a reasonable monthly monitoring service, and and you can easily and cheaply purchase replacement parts. The system I had installed is amazing and unbelievably affordable, they even set up a camera so I can monitor my home and watch my pup while I am out!! The whole experience has been fully above and beyond ! The team was amazing from start to go, Ashley hand held me from beginning to end! She helped me choose a system that would exceed my expectations and made it stay in my price range! The installer, Arthur was so professional and not only did an excellent job on the install, he knows his stuff quite well! Signed up for CSG after meeting Ashley at the home and garden show in Glendale. She explained all the services and equipment they offered along with their pricing. Our initial interaction was just for information and my wife and I let her know we would be looking around at other home security monitoring services at the home show, Ashley was not pushy or trying to give the whole closing of a sale speech so that impressed me right from the start. After making our decision to go with CSG the Sunday after,Ashley advised me that we could do the finalization in person or over the phone and email. Needless to say Ashley took the initiative and said she would come out to our home that Sunday and meet with us in person. One of my big concerns in this day and age from a business is customer service and Ashley made it a priority to confirm that customer service still exist. The install of our system and equipment was on point. After the install Ashley made it a point to assure that my wife and I were happy with everything and advised us to make her our go to if we have any issues.
