Great food the service is fast The atmosphere is great. Steak is very good. Great place

porter house with Gorgonzola butter that was not too pungent.

After seeing the sign my thought was "it must be a good steak if it's featured on the sign like that"....So I dug in to some reviews and convinced my wife we would go to the fancy roof place for some light snacks and follow up with some hearty steaks. Of course we would need to hit the local Eagles club while the snacks settled. Unfortunately that part left us disappointed as we found it closed down. But on to AA's we go. It wasn't too busy and we snagged a table right off. It's a bar that features good steaks. Head in with the right attitude and you'll be stoked. This is not a NY Steakhouse atmosphere and the prices align with that. Each steak came with an assortment of nice side options. Everything tasted great and cooked to the level ordered. Waitress / Bartender...Took great care of us. This is a gem of a spot and it will be on my list of "must visit" the next time I'm through town. Thanks AA Bar. It was perfect.

Wow. This place is, first and foremost, a bar. None of us caught the play on "AA" until we arrived. 6 screens playing? They also happened to have one of the best steaks you can get. We had a huge Porterhouse cooked rare and a porkchop medium well. They nailed both! Can't take the kids, and without the reputation of having best steaks in town we wouldn't have walked in...and we would have really missed out!

We were on vacation and were looking for a good steak. We noticed the great reviews for A A Bar and Grill. We were not disappointed. We got a 20 ounce ribeye and shared it. It was delicious as were the sides. This is a very small restaurant and bar and we went early to avoid a long wait. The waitress was very nice and efficient and we ordered and got our food very quickly. I definitely recommend this bar and restaurant for a good steak.

Was looking for a local steakhouse and found this lil Hole... it's more of a bar than a grill, but it grills up some mighty tasty steaks. We stood at the door for a bit and wasn't sure if we We seated ourselves, but after a while we did anyways, and the waitress came over and took our drink orders and then if you sit at the bar, you get quicker service for sure, but this is the first time we had been there. We weren't sure what we were supposed to do. There's only maybe six tables so get there early or call and maybe make a reservation two of the three tables that seats four people were reserved at 5 o'clock and then I think there was a couple of tables that had to seats. We were lucky since we got there early and wasn't really noisy. There was sports TVs with hockey and soccer playing. The ladies were attentive. Was definitely a good spot to stop for a steak we'd be back.

Where do I begin? Let's start with the food: 16oz. Ribeye ordered medium rare. Result was the most delicious steak I have ever had. Not an eggzageration, I've had a steak pretty much around the world. I've not had a more tender, JUICY and delicious tasting Ribeye anywhere. Second was the service: well done AA I feel well served. And thirdly: the Ambiance can't be beat. There's a beautiful old shuffleboard against one wall, big screen TVs keep you updated on all that mind candy while a beautiful, centrally located bar keep you separated from the riff-raff on the other side of the room. This place has the Feel Of a True Bar. Thanks To Kim For Your Hospitality. Michael.

Dinner menu

Steak was excellent. Our party had both the filet and the Rib Eye. The filet was very tender and cooked exactly as ordered (medium rare and medium). The rib eye was excellent- not as tender as the filet but extremely flavorful. They have a very limited number of tables, but lots of bar space. They can seat 12 max at tables and double that at the bar. You may want to call for a reservation. We just walked in on a Sunday night and got lucky. Service was so-so, as they need more servers. If you wan a good steak, come here. If you're vegetarian, don't bother. The dinner salad is nothing to write home about. The Gorgonzola butter is very tasty. The onion rings were also good.

Definitely a hole in the wall place with some tasty steak! Wrap around bar, menus on the wall, easy in, out and great food! Came here with my crew after working the fire clean up all day and was a fun people watching entertainment for us to kick back while enjoying a hearty meal away from the hotel. Put it on your list when you're in town or passing thru.

My steak dinner. Yum the grill made this steak wonderful tasting.

Ask the Community - AA Bar & Grill

Do the steaks come with a side? If so, where are the choices. It's hard to tell from the website and menu photos.

Can I make dinner reservations for a Sat night for 4?

No. It's literally a bar and grill, not the kind of place for reservations. Its strictly first come, first serve.

Is the NFC playoff game being shown here on Sunday?

Do they have outside seating? Are dogs allowed?

Yes on outdoor seating no on dogs unless they are seeing eye dogs

I ordered the French Toast Special, which includes eggs and a choice of sausage or bacon. As someone who doesn't eat meat, I asked if I could substitute it for something small like toast, fruit, or potatoes. I was told substitutions weren't allowed, but she can just not include the meat. Since the full price still applied, I chose to keep it for my husband. Despite clearly mentioning that I don't eat meat, it was served directly alongside and touching my French toast, which was disappointing. After our food was delivered, our waitress never returned. It appeared her shift had ended, but no one else checked on us. After waiting quite a while (with only one other table occupied), we had to get up and request the check ourselves. The food itself was underwhelming. The French toast was quite dry, with an overwhelming amount of powdered cinnamon that threw off the flavor. I really wanted to like Adel's, but this experience left me unlikely to return.

We looked at the reviews here on Yelp! and were a bit worried at the low overall rating. Well, rest assured, we had a good meal and enjoyed our visit. My wife had the filet mignon, while I ordered the rib eye. I asked our waitress about upgrading to the pricier dry aged rib eye, and she surprisingly talked me out of it saying the regular rib eye was really good. She was right. The combination of the grilling and the buttery sauce was delicious. It didn't need any additional sauce, but out of curiosity I tried the house sauce that was on the table, and it was quite nice. For some reason, they have a Tesla coil (from the original Tesla, not the car company) and they fired it off while we were there. They give plenty of notice before they do as it makes a loud sound and sparks fly about the device. It was interesting. So, if you're in town and looking for a good steak, give this place a try.

My friend had clam strips - also really good (I sampled a few purely for review purposes). I also had some soup... spicy shrimp bisque. It was good! I think I'm going to try the clam chowder next time I get a chance... I originally planned to get clam chowder, but the bisque sounded interesting so I went with that instead. One downer... and I'm not sure if it was a "one off" type thing or what... but a portion of the crust on the bread I got with my soup was 'crunchy'. I'm not sure why? It didn't seem to be stale, but something was off... not sure if it sat in a warmer too long or what, but it didn't seem right. Kudos overall... good experience.

I found this restauraunt on Yelp and we reserved it for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night. We sat by the window and had a beautiful view of the sunset and bay. Upon being seated we were served some bread with some whipped butter mixed with some sort of seafood I believed? I forgot, but the butter was delicious. Our first round of bread however, was average at best and was very dense and doughy. The next rounds of bread were significantly better though, so maybe there's an inconsistency with the way they bake their bread in-house. I ordered the seafood penne pasta and my boyfriend ordered the king salmon with risotto. Both were "specials" and were not on the menu. However after digging into reviews here, it seems they are not so much specials since both dishes have been served here for the past 7ish years. Seafood penne pasta: I would rate a 3/5, maybe a 2.5/5. The pasta itself was not al dente which was disappointing. The "star" of this dish was supposed to be the scallop, which was severely undercooked! It was super soft and mushy. The shrimp was alright...some were overcooked. The salmon was also dry. I think the only thing I really enjoyed was the mussels, clams, and the sauce. The sauce had some curry with a small kick to it. This dish was just okay. Escargot: We ordered as our appetizer, I'd give it a 3.5/5! The escargot was a little soft but paired wonderfully with the bread. Creme brûlée: 3/5. Our waitress kindly put a birthday candle on it for my birthday. :) I enjoyed it, and it was very custardy! The downside was that the sugar on top was too burnt. I can't speak much for my boyfriend's dish, I did have a bite of his salmon and it was alright, maybe a bit too salty. The service however was wonderful and our waitress was super kind and helpful. Maybe I would come back to try another dish if I'm back in the area.

We were graciously checked-in early during opening at 5, even if our reservation was at 6. Very thankful for that as Happy Hour was 5-6. This tavern was dimly lit with candles, table lamps and the ambient afternoon sun offering illumination for our mandatory photos. I was highly impressed by the ornamentation. Classy and very tasteful. Started our dinner with $6 cocktails (Old Fashioned, Aperol Spritz and Cosmopolitan). Got all three apps from the $5 HH menu. Fresh Humboldt Oysters (two), Korean Beef and Traditional Polish Pierogies. We were already full with these starters, but we foolishly proceeded to get the main courses. I'd blame this on the hardworking Eddie, a Schlansky lookalike (google: Conan Jordan image). He had this tic of repeated "how're you guys doing so far" that made this family order entrees, which was unbecoming of us. Catch of the Day. Halibut with roasted brussel sprouts and quinoa. Pork Belly Al Pastor with crispy polenta Striploin with pomme puree and sauce du jour. I told this crew of three that we were finishing the medium grilled steak and opted for the other dishes to be boxed. Thought that was the end of this meal, but noooo. My wife couldn't resist the Flourless Chocolate Torte. F & D, Service and Ambiance. All 5 stars. I'm just exasperated that a public house like this is 6 hours away from home.
