Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. This company is the textbook example of how NOT to run a business. We hired them to move us from one two-bedroom apartment to another on December 31. It was a straightforward job that should have taken 4-5 hours max. Instead, due to their poor planning, lack of professionalism, and inefficiency, it dragged on for 12 hours. That's triple the expected time -- and triple the cost and stress. The crew was clearly untrained and careless, resulting in significant damage to our property. They broke our glass bar table and completely ruined a brand-new Anthropologie entertainment center worth over $3,000. These weren't minor scuffs -- these pieces were damaged beyond repair. When I tried to discuss the issue with Melissa, she constantly talked over me, refused to listen, and offered zero solutions. She repeatedly referenced her supposed "corporate experience," yet demonstrated no professionalism, empathy, or accountability. Her tone was rude, dismissive, and completely inappropriate for someone running a service-based business. She filed an insurance claim and told us we'd be compensated $0.20 per pound -- a ridiculous and insulting amount that came out to $33 total. That's their idea of fixing over $3,000 in damage? That's not just bad customer service -- it's predatory business behavior. Brando, her son and co-owner, initially sounded more reasonable. He acknowledged they had dropped the ball and promised to "make things right." Movers didn't shrink wrap the mattress, didn't unscrew nightstand legs which are now broken, and the tv stand is damaged because movers asked to add items inside even though I had it empty. Their way of helping was refunding $150 to get a temporary mattress from Walmart and told me the claims department would be in touch in 3-5 business days. In the end they only compensated me $900 despite the thousands of dollars of damage. In addition to the damage, one of the movers the company set up for the CT delivery made inappropriate sexual comments to me while I was alone (I'm a young female). Do not use them!
