This place has top notch service. Food is perfectly made and the restaurant has nice ambiance. I've had the oysters and steaks (Ribeye) because I missed the pot pie day, and I wasn't disappointed, nice crust and buttery, melt in your mouth bites. My wife and I made it back for the pot pies and I would give it 4 of 5 stars, wish there was more filling, the crust was delicious and filling though. Flaky and croissant like. I had Old Fashion and my wife had wine. It's pricey but worth it, we will be back on a different date night.

10/10 for service, food & ambiance. They are very attentive, and I love that the hostess always asks if we are celebrating anything special. I keep coming back to this place because they are consistent in what they do and I know I'll have a good experience.

My god my skirt steak was just perfect. And my girlfriend's food was amazing!! It was so much fun with the photo booth as well! I loved her espresso martini and chicken piccata! Everything compliments each other very well. I'll definitely be back. Our waiter was amazing too I wish I knew his name! Oh and that sauce with the skirt steak is to die for.

What a great place, location is prime and lots of shops to visit following your meal. Ambiance is so chill and comfortable. Patio seating is actually enclosed and very comfortable. Top notch service from our waitress and bus staff. Between our group we tried several things, got some pic's and missed taking some! The table side sourdough is wonderful! Squash Blossoms melt in your mouth, so flavorful with a light batter and creamy cheese! The fish tacos were good, a bit small but nice flavor. The hamburger was a hit! Large party with bacon, egg and dressing, also the French fries were heavenly. Chicken Cesar salad was very fresh and tasted great!

Been to A PCH countless times and it never disappoints. Always guaranteed a good time. This visit was a party of five for dinner, and we leaned heavily into their happy hour menu (3-6pm) with a few regular menu favorites mixed in... which is honestly the move. For drinks, we ordered the Old Fashioned, Yellow Stoned, Black Manhattan, and red wine, and every single one was well-balanced and perfect for easing into the night. Now for the food we ordered: Squash Blossoms - light, crisp, and delicate, fried to a golden crunch without feeling greasy at all. Dangerous in the best way. BBQ Heirloom Carrots - Just sooo good. Sweet, smoky, and insanely flavorful. Do not skip this dish! Spicy Yellowfin Tuna - fresh, bold, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat. The Burger - three people at our table ordered it, which tells you everything you need to know. Seared Ahi Tuna Salad - my order and absolutely loved it. Perfect portion, super satisfying, and still refreshing -- didn't feel heavy at all. Between the food, drinks, and consistently great vibe, this place just keeps delivering. Whether you're hitting happy hour or settling in for dinner, this location is always a win. We'll 100% be back again and again!

Went for the first time with our friends. We were seated close to the bar, just a bit noisy but not an issue as we were able to have a conversation. Great selection of cocktails and menu We ordered the Fita Bread and hummus and sushi lobster roll and it's delicious . For our entrees we ordered the Cobb Salad with Lobster, Halibut and Cacio and Pepe , we all enjoyed it Our server Recee was very nice with a nice warm smile. She took care of us , our drinks and food . She was attentive and polite

I had a meeting with my advisor, and he picked A's on PCH for our lunch meeting. Parking is complimentary for 90 minutes at the parking garage or complimentary street on the back side of business. The eatery has a nice interior, and we sat at a booth next to the bar. There's even a photo booth and is no charge for customers. Our cordial waiter who was bartending also waited on us and was gracious to not rush us since it was a business meeting and we dined for several hours. I opted for the skirt steak plate which included fingerling potatoes and broccolini. My steak was cooked to my request and the meal was satisfying. I would return here in the future for the solid service, atmosphere and good food.

Met a friend for lunch here - love the ambience, the view of the waterfront is lovely, lots of natural light coming through. The service was attentive and friendly and the food was tasty. I ordered the mussels and really enjoyed it; the sauce had a bit of a kick, lovely!

We had a great time here. The place, ambiance is beautiful with a romantic vibe, comfortable seating, nice view and also the bar area is cozy and fun. We tried the spicy yellowfin tuna and it has a strong seafood flavor, I didn't feel any spicy flavor. The bbq carrots were good but it's an appetizer to share with at least 4 people. And the main dish, the ribeye was well cooked as we ordered medium, but in general every dish needed extra flavor, we added salt to everything so I would comeback and I would try the hamburgers and any other dish next time. It took about 30 min to have out main dish after they served the appetizers. The reason I will Come back is to enjoy the bar area and the hamburgers which looks delicious

All the stars Hands down the best meal I've had in years. We celebrated a birthday here - I highly recommend making a reservation. A thoughtful touch: they actually acknowledged our celebration note, which so many places overlook these days. We had a gorgeous harbor view, and the ambiance was warm, inviting, and elegant truly a joy to be in. On Mondays and Tuesdays they offer a chicken pot pie wrapped in the most delicious puff pastry, and it was easily the best pot pie I've ever had. Absolute must-order. We also shared the seared ahi salad with miso ginger dressing, which was outstanding and highly recommended. Service was friendly, attentive, and quick, everything arrived perfectly timed and beautifully prepared. I cannot wait to return. This is an ideal spot for celebrations, date nights, girls' nights, and any special occasion.

3.5 stars for brunch Service was phenomenal. Food not so much. I wasn't feeling their brunch menu so I opted for the fish taco starter ($19 for 2). The fish is battered in tempura, topped with slaw, chipotle aioli, salsa quemada + cotija cheese. These were very good fish tacos. The batter was nice and the toppings tasted fresh. No complaints here. However, everyone in my party ordered from the main menu and everything just fell a little short. Dishes were bland and didn't/couldn't warrant the price. The view situation is tricky - I think you may be able to get a view if you're dining with a smaller party? They do customize a cute lil menu in honor of whatever you're celebrating, however, the brunch was not brunching.

We had our Christmas dinner here with our Chamber board members, and overall it was such a wonderful experience! The service was truly outstanding -- attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. From start to finish, our waiter (a gentleman from Italy) made sure our group felt welcomed and well taken care of. For food, I first ordered the Sea Bass. The flavor was good, but it was a bit too salty for my taste. The team handled it beautifully -- they immediately took it off the bill with no hesitation, which I really appreciated. I then ordered the Ribeye steak, and wow... super juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Definitely a win and highly recommended! Overall, the food was about a 4.5-star, but the service and atmosphere easily brought the experience to a full 5 stars. Would absolutely come back again -- especially for special gatherings and celebrations.

Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! Not to worry, her Blueberry Lavender Latte was also top-notch, with a smooth, not-to-sweet flavor combination. I started with a cup of their beef and barley soup. My wife and I both make this at home from scratch and we're both impressed by theirs. My wife took a taste of mine and instantly ordered her own. Very rich and flavorful. I kept looking at photos of their take on chicken and waffles and knew I had to try it. Seriously epic and was good as it looked. They coated the chicken in a chili rub that gave it a sweet and spicy flavor when paired with their maple syrup. Served on top of a waffle and topped with an egg. I loved it and would probably order again on my next visit. My wife had the American plate which was your classic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sourdough toast combo. High quality ingredients elevated it beyond your typical diner food. Drinks were great too. I had their house made bloody mary which had a nice kick to it. My wife had their brunch version of a Corpse Reviver cocktail. After our meals were done we finished with an Irish coffee since everyone was ordering them. TLDR; It's expensive, and not worth the routine visit, but worth the one-time stop in to experience the festivities. The Miracle pop-up at The Ordinarie is somehow even more decorated and extravagant than you'd expect from a seasonal pop-up. The line looks long outside, as there are no reservations, but it moves quickly since they hold everybody to a pretty strict 2-hour time limit. The drinks are good, the cups are cute, and everyone is festive. It's an all-around fun experience.  I think because of this, you do pay a premium price tag for food and drinks that are just good or okay. I think it's something that is worth the visit if you've never been and you enjoy getting into the Christmas spirit. I think that outside of the pop-up, The Ordinarie is a fun spot to check out in Long Beach. It't not a pillar of the food scene if you're a tourist, but it is a good, late night spot if you work in the industry nearby. They have a great late-night menu with a killer smash burger.

The vibe has shifted toward a more minimalist coffee cafe aesthetic, and the menu has seen a significant overhaul. The Food & Value: I was disappointed to see the old favorites go. The Chicken & Waffles, previously a staple with three wings, has switched to dark meat only (thighs) with zero substitutions. As someone who isn't a fan of dark meat, that was a major letdown. I opted for the Lemon Pancakes ($21), and while the presentation was stunning, the taste was underwhelming and the portion size was surprisingly small--my son's kids' meal actually had more food than mine. The Silver Lining: The service is still the highlight here. Our server, Jorge, was absolutely fantastic--attentive, kind, and professional. The entire staff was very nice, but unfortunately, the price point doesn't quite match the current portion sizes or flavor profile. It's sad to say, but this will likely be our last visit but best wishes to them

Bristy, our server, thoroughly explained the details of certain dishes such as the Mac & Cheetos. She also checked in on our table throughout the meal and came around often to refill our water. As for the food itself, it was very delicious. My favorite dish was the artichokes. They had a somewhat smoky flavor and the outermost leaves were crunchy and a nice contrast to the soft inside of the artichokes. They were also served in a tangy sauce that complimented the vegetable well. My friend's favorite item was the macaroni and cheese. It was chewy and creamy, and the pasta, which Bristy informed us was made in-house, was what my friend thought elevated the dish because it was a nice texture. We additionally ordered the gumbo which was also tasty but not as yummy as the other two dishes that we ordered. It is not a spicy dish if one is concerned about spice level. As for the ambiance of the restaurant, we enjoyed how the atmosphere felt casual and almost like you were sitting in somebody's house (the wallpaper and interior design is pretty) while still maintaining an elegant aesthetic design. There is inside seating what looks like a converted house? There is outside seating at tables or at the bar. The menu was interesting which had a theme of shrimp; there was eggs Benedict with shrimp, but not an item to order a regular one without it? Sure maybe could have ordered and asked without shrimp but pay the same price? Pass. Ok when I called they mentioned they serve brunch until 3? 3:30 I can't remember. The server mentioned they serve the brunch all day? Either way when I got to ordering this month on the menu it highlighted the shrimp po boy. I tried to order and nope, out. How can you be out of the item highlighted as the special in the middle of the day? When the place is not packed? I tried to order the lobster roll and again, out. I was tempted to order their short rib poutine since in theory it sounded good, but at this point I tried something simple I would hope they have in the kitchen chicken and waffles. The plate came and it looks good. If you look at the picture at the bottom of the chicken you can see a dark something. As I lift my chicken I found a huge burnt piece of breading pictured next. On top of the chicken is green onion I think? Who eats that with chicken and waffles? If I am wrong, a garnish is totally unnecessary for this dish. The chicken was moist. There are spices in the flour breading I can see but hard to taste what it is. The waffle is a hard pass for me. The waffle was crispy which is good, but also thin and dry and I couldn't taste any sweetness until I put maple syrup on it. The syrup came out warm which was nice. It's clear watching the people at the bar this is a local hangout. The chicken and waffles were $19 which if I was in the bay I think it's about right, but I think a little high considering the level of food I got. Supposedly this place is packed specifically on Sundays. The server doesn't know why? I'm not interested to even try to come back for a second chance and just be told sold out of the menu.
