February 15, 2026 - I got the breakfast with egg, ham, home fries and bread. It was a really good breakfast. Nothing special, but no complaints. Standard breakfast meal.

I found this cafe to be such a chill and tranquil spot. Their coffee, brunch, waffles, crepes, and pasta were all fantastic! Definitely worth a visit!

Went here with a few friends, honestly super disappointed... The service wasn't good, the servers were literally sitting at a table. For the amount of money i paid, i expected some decent food, but was super disappointed when the food not only didn't look appetizing but it tasted really bland. Surprising the strawberry waffle tasted great, with it not being too overwhelmingly sweet and a good balance of strawberries and ice cream.

Came here for lunch today, would give it a 3.5 star but I rounded up to 4 since there are no half points. Place is nice and spacious, felt clean. There are games at the side if you want to stay and hang out at the cafe and play a few games with friends. Food came out pretty quickly. We ordered 2 dishes. Chicken and waffles and the mushroom and bacon Benny. Starting with the chicken and waffles, waffles were okay but could have used something, maybe could have been a bit crunchier or with some kind of flavour or twist. The chicken, which is the star of the dish was very good. Seasoned and cooked beautifully, very juicy and nice crispy skin. It comes with salad, which in all honestly seems like those grocery tubs which they put a light dressing. (There was barely any dressing and it felt like you were just eating rabbit food). The mushroom and bacon Benny had great flavour. A very nice sauce and those mushrooms were really good. It comes with the same salad I reviewed in the first dish (blah) and some fries. The fries were okay, but it is definately the frozen ones similar to Costco breaded fries if that is what you are into. Service was fine as the food came quick, would have been nice though if someone at least came to check on you as the place wasn't that busy. I could have used more dressing for the salad. Overall it's a good option and the price point is pretty fair. I don't recall a menu item over $20 I would go again and try some of the other eggs Benny dishes, but hopefully they can do better with the salad

Super cute little breakfast/brunch place! It was so adorable inside and had a wall full of board games you could grab and play for free. Service was amazing and our waitress was very nice! The layout of some of the tables were odd as it was one long table but multiple parties were seated at the same table. Might be awkward if you sit next to someone you don't know. Food: - Matcha: 4/5 stars. Im not a big matcha person but this matcha was good. It wasn't too sweet and the colour was beautiful. They also added cute coffee art ! So adorable - Broccoli Cheddar Soup: 3.5/5 stars. I didn't think it was anything special and for the price of it, I thought the portion would be bigger. It was more creamy than cheddary. Could have used slightly more flavour from both the broccoli and the cheddar. - Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict: 3.5/5 stars. I've had better eggs Benedict. The bread it came on was not toasted which surprised me. I ordered hollandaise sauce on the side and added it to my eggs benny. Personally, it lacked in flavour and I had to add a lot of salt to have some flavour. The fries were really good though. Overall, nice cute place! We played jenga while we were there. The overall place was very aesthetic and the presentation of the food was beautiful but I don't think the price is justifiable for the portion side and taste.

The drinks are fantastic, but that's where the compliments stop. The servers are a bit nonchalant and half-attentive. The actual food is underwhelming at best. The condensed milk toast was decent, but the eggs benny was borderline edible. Everything except the costco fries was bland with no seasoning. The pulled beef benny was probably the worst eggs benny I've ever had. The poached egg was not runny. It was cooked to hard boiled. When I asked for a new runny egg, they kindly made me a new one but it was still overcooked. The server did ask if I wanted them to make me another, but I declined since it wouldn't have saved the dish anyways. The beef had no taste, the egg had no taste, the hollandaise had no taste, the bread had no taste. I could somewhat taste the herbs and spices in the beef stew but without any salt it was just a mushy mess that tasted like water. Even after adding salt and pepper it could not save the dish. There was just barely any flavour or seasoning on anything. It's kind of cool that they have board games, but I wouldn't come back here for brunch if that's the quality of food they put out. The place was also half empty at noon on a weekend if that says anything...

Love the board games, decoration is cozy, weekend is always full, so come earlier to avoid long line up Food is very fresh, seasoned very well One of my favourite brunch spot.

Came here and ordered two of their hojicha lattes. Could definitely taste the matcha in it, the drink was on point. Would certainly want to come back to try their waffles.

Chicken & waffles

I was looking forward to brunch here because their menu seemed diverse, and I remember enjoying their dessert waffles a few years ago. Overall, my experience here was alright. Starting with the Vietnamese latte, I expected a stronger, more full-bodied roast that packed a punch, similar to traditional Vietnamese coffee. Vietnamese coffee is paired with condensed milk, so the strength of the coffee flavour needs to balance out the sweetness of the milk. However, what I ended up getting was just a very sweet latte, so that was disappointing. In terms of food, the standout was the crispiness and seasoning of the fried chicken. No thick batter, just all crunch. I wish the omelette and waffles were just as amazing, but they were just "ok". I found the waffles a bit dry, even with syrup. Service was fine, but it wasn't particularly attentive or warm. The layout and decor of the cafe is nice though with booth seating and a long shared table in the centre.

It's been a while since I've been here (last time was pre-covid). Came here for brunch on a weekend and it was busy. Waited around 10 minutes for a table. I noticed the game boards and kids toys on the shelf to the side of the wall - a great idea, especially to keep little ones occupied. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and hubby ordered the Pork Bowl. Pork bowl was flavourful, waffles were crunchy but the chicken had more batter than meat. Price point is pretty reasonable for the portion given. Note: the washroom was disgusting. Definitely need to be more on top on maintaining it. Would I come again? Yes - they have a pretty large menu so I'd like to come back again to try other items.

This is a nice place to have a gathering with friends. The cafe is quite spacious inside with a large table in the middle . I like the tables are spacious . They have lots of board games selection for you to choose from, and I saw some baby toys too which is nice to have for those with young kids/toddlers. The food are reasonable priced. We ordered the mix fruit crepes, the Vietnamese latte, and also the sweet potatoe fries . I thought the viet latte was tasty, and really enjoyed it. My daughter loved the crepes , and sweet potatoes fries was perfect to munch on while doing some work. There is free wifi for use, and it works.

Smoked Salmon Benny ($17)

A nice option to meet up with some friends. The restaurant is quite big and spacious inside and they have a good selection of board games that you can play. They do have a sign on the tables that say that during rush hour they may limit your seating to 1 hour, which is definitely not enough time to start a game. However, despite coming on a Sunday lunch time we never got rushed to leave which was nice. Food wise, it was decent. I ordered the smoked salmon benny, which came with fries and salad. The salad was nicely dressed with a light vinaigrette and the fries were really crispy. The eggs themself was soft and runny but I wish they paired it on a different bread, as the toast was really hard and was difficult to cut. Nothing else bad I can say about this dish but it wasn't quite a wow dish. Price wise it was compariable to other brunch places, and I thought was fair considering they did include a quite a few pieces of smoked salmon and I was really full afterwards. Overall, I would definitely consider coming back. I'd love to try their other dishes and play some games!

Condensed milk thick toast and Vietnamese latte cold

A Corner Cafe is usually my goto brunch place. I had the day off and the wife was at work so I decided to drop by. I'm a big fan of their decor, a mix of sleek modern with some rusticness. The seats are made of metal though so they're not the most comfortable, although I'm sure the booths are better. I got their brunch special which was a thick toast for $8. It comes with a coffee but for $2 I upgraded it to a Vietnamese coffee. The toast was a nice snack, with the right amount of butteriness and sweetness. The coffee itself was fairly underwhelming, tasting more like a typical sweet latte than Vietnamese coffee. The service was good, since its a week day it's not overly busy. I'll probably come again on a weekday although I'll probably get something more filling next time.

Food is delicious every time i'm here. The ambiance is great as well, the music is not too loud and it's a perfect study spot.

The tower was beautifully presented and what I love most about the tower is their pancakes. Truly fluffy and light with whipped cream on top of it. Overall, service was efficient and attentive, often checked on and refilling water. On top of that, the restaurant has great decor and parking is provided in the back of the restaurant. Its considered on a slightly higher end for brunch ($20-30 range), but it was truly an amazing experience. They also have daily promos so worth checking out for dinner and late night deals.

I must say that I do understand why people are drawn to the restaurant - it is very pretty and makes for wonderful pictures! The variety of colours was not matched with a variety of flavours, and everything was somewhat on the salty and greasy side. That being said, we very much enjoyed the potato hash, pancakes, and French toast. The portion sizes also outdid themselves - if you're coming here for brunch, just be prepared for a long nap in the afternoon! Service was excellent: prompt, helpful, and friendly. The interior is fairly spacious and elegantly decorated. Overall, a pleasant experience even if it's not the most spectacular - and perhaps worth a visit for some based on the aesthetics alone.

Initially we were going for the idea of breakfast, but timing was a bit off from what we anticipated and it was a really nice lunch date instead. I love the Markham Marriott, the staff is always warm and welcoming. Draco has a very sleek, sophisticated and cozy atmosphere. We both ordered Bacon & Cheddar burgers. I opted for a Caesar salad as an appetizer and hubby ordered their Grilled Wagyu Flat Iron Steak. Let's start with the apps. The Caesar salad was SO good! I wish I had taken a pic, but admittedly, my phone was tucked away and I was caught up in the cozy seating, great food and Christmas vibes of the restaurant and lobby. Grilled Wagyu Flat Iron Steak: $33 - Buttercup Squash Puree and Truffle Oil - Everything you want Wagyu to be - tender, cooked to the perfect temp which left a nice warm red centre. This was melt in your mouth good! The burgers - these were perfection! Draco Bacon Cheddar Burger: $25 - Aged Cheddar with Crispy Bacon Strips; Crispy Onion Straws, Arugula and Garlic Aioli. This was a very well seasoned patty, so juicy and a substantial sized patty of fresh not frozen beef. The bun was lightly toasted, bacon crispy, easily taking this into my top 3 fav spots for burgers! Options for sides include fries, sweet potato fries, poutine, side Caesar or garden salad or truffle fries. We finished off our meal with 2 really good cappuccinos and just took our time before heading home. This was our first time back here in a few years. The food was exceptional as was the service and the warm staff. Draco is the perfect spot for an early morning breakfast, work or lunch date or a nice cozy dinner. You pass through a charming patio to enter, which was shaded nicely thanks to the size of the Shoppers building. Given the recent heatwave, we opted to sit indoors. We were greeted at the door and offered the choice between a two-person table tucked farther inside or a four-person table closer to other diners. We chose the smaller table for a bit more privacy and ease of conversation. Menus were provided right away, followed shortly by tap water. When our server checked in to ask about drinks, we let her know we were fine with just water. Later, when we were ready to order, she came promptly when we called her over. A standout moment: we ordered just one smoothie, and she kindly asked if we were sharing, then offered to split it into two cups without us even asking. A thoughtful and appreciated gesture. The Pineapple Banana Smoothie was a highlight. It was perfectly balanced between sweet and tart, and incredibly refreshing. My sister ordered the Halloumi Benedict. She noted that while the waffles leaned toward a sweeter flavor on their own, the combination of waffle, egg, and halloumi was well-balanced and worked beautifully together. The egg was jammy and spot-on in terms of taste, texture, and presentation. I had the Fully Loaded, which features a potato waffle topped with bacon bits, sour cream, chives, and cheese. It leaned a bit salty, but not overwhelmingly so, still quite enjoyable overall. I loved the potato waffle which has the slightly crispy edges but was soft to bite with a texture that resembled mash potatoes. As someone who isn't usually crazy about waffles, which was such a nice alternative. Each of our mains came with a side salad (lightly dressed and refreshing) and a choice of fruit salad, maple baked beans, or potato salad. We both chose the fruit salad, which was impressively varied with orange, grapefruit, watermelon, blueberry, blackberry, and banana. Note: Payment is cash or debit only.

Due to the number of guests that day, the space around our table was quite tight and cozy but that was fine by us. The servers were super friendly and when we had questions about the menu, they were able to help us narrow down our decisions (it was quite hard to choose because everything looked amazing!). My boyfriend got the Gochujang Chicken and Waffles with a juice (I believe it was lychee), and I got the Char Siu Benedict with a Hojicha Latte. The portion was much bigger than we had expected for the Gochujang Chicken and Waffles, which was definitely the highlight of the entire meal because this is a DEFINITE MUST TRY for the sweet/savoury combo lovers out there (note: the chicken wasn't a large thigh or two like other brunch restaurants we have been to, but rather chunks of chicken that were perfectly tossed in the gochujang). The Char Siu Benedict was also amazing, and I got truffle fries and a side salad. The Hojicha latte was recommended by not only the staff but also another diner who was seated next to us, and I definitely loved the rich flavour of the Hojicha. We will definitely come back (I dream about the Gochujang Chicken and Waffles), and I would highly recommend Sisters & Co for anyone in the Milliken/Markham area looking for an amazing Brunch spot!

Sisters & Co Markham is a chic diner brunch spot with more premium pricing than your usual diner,…read morespecializing in benedicts and various brunch items with Asian flares to them. It's extremely popular (always full) but the tables move quite quickly, so yes - while you most likely need to stay in line if you come during the weekends, you don't have to wait for long if you're on a cute brunch date for two. A few pros and cons about this place: Cons: 1) ordered the bulgogi benedict, and to be fair, it was not very impressive. While the English muffins underneath were toasted to perfection - crispy and soft, I was not impressed by the bulgogi/benedict. The thing about hollandaise sauce is that it's powerful, rich and creamy. What goes well with it needs to add another dimension of powerful flavour profiles, which is why it's usually paired with smoked proteins (smoked salmon, peameal bacon, pulled pork etc). While I love Bulgogi, it's usually sweet, refreshing that goes well with flavour neutral side such as plain rice (or bread, fries). When I had my Bennies, I could barely taste any of the bulgogi and it was a disappointment to me (it just tasted like an egg on an English muffin). 2) the size is quite small for its price (CAD 22). If you think the two bennies as one sandwich, it'd be a small English muffin. That's very pricy. Pros: 1) the "spicy" home fries were extremely well done. The flavour profiles were well delivered, with caramelized onions and pepper pieces mixed in. I had a great time enjoying them. 2) I enjoyed the drip coffee quite a bit. It was very fresh and the beans they used had a nice balance of acidity and bitterness. Very satisfying. 3) the service was superb. I really really appreciated my servers (Gabriella and Alan). They were extremely efficient while being attentive and friendly. I gauge that the servers are the primary reason why the restaurant, tho being extremely popular, still has a steady speed to move the lines and customers. Extremely impressive comparing to all other diners I've been to when it comes to service. Because of the servers and the home fries, I'd give it a four stars while the food/pricing need some works. I may come back sometime soon to try other items on the menu.
