Sisters & Co Markham is a chic diner brunch spot with more premium pricing than your usual diner, specializing in benedicts and various brunch items with Asian flares to them. It's extremely popular (always full) but the tables move quite quickly, so yes - while you most likely need to stay in line if you come during the weekends, you don't have to wait for long if you're on a cute brunch date for two. A few pros and cons about this place: Cons: 1) ordered the bulgogi benedict, and to be fair, it was not very impressive. While the English muffins underneath were toasted to perfection - crispy and soft, I was not impressed by the bulgogi/benedict. The thing about hollandaise sauce is that it's powerful, rich and creamy. What goes well with it needs to add another dimension of powerful flavour profiles, which is why it's usually paired with smoked proteins (smoked salmon, peameal bacon, pulled pork etc). While I love Bulgogi, it's usually sweet, refreshing that goes well with flavour neutral side such as plain rice (or bread, fries). When I had my Bennies, I could barely taste any of the bulgogi and it was a disappointment to me (it just tasted like an egg on an English muffin). 2) the size is quite small for its price (CAD 22). If you think the two bennies as one sandwich, it'd be a small English muffin. That's very pricy. Pros: 1) the "spicy" home fries were extremely well done. The flavour profiles were well delivered, with caramelized onions and pepper pieces mixed in. I had a great time enjoying them. 2) I enjoyed the drip coffee quite a bit. It was very fresh and the beans they used had a nice balance of acidity and bitterness. Very satisfying. 3) the service was superb. I really really appreciated my servers (Gabriella and Alan). They were extremely efficient while being attentive and friendly. I gauge that the servers are the primary reason why the restaurant, tho being extremely popular, still has a steady speed to move the lines and customers. Extremely impressive comparing to all other diners I've been to when it comes to service. Because of the servers and the home fries, I'd give it a four stars while the food/pricing need some works. I may come back sometime soon to try other items on the menu.
I came here for brunch with my family. Me and my brother shared the gochujang fried chicken & waffles, chicken was juicy and the waffles had perfect amount of sweetness. My mom ordered eggs benedict with smoked salmon on englsh muffin & salad & home fries which she enjoyed. I ordered the cereal milk french toast for a sweet treat it was delicious but huge portion so we couldnt finish. Modern interior and good service!
Wanted to try this place for a while now. Finally did for brunch! It was busy so expect a wait, even during weekdays... Overall service was fast and food came decently as well. Fried chicken sandwich - Fried chicken was lightly batter, kinda like a chicken nugget kind of coating. The chicken itself was thin and a bit on the dry side. The bread was a toasted white bread with beautiful colour but was a little on the dense side. Overall it was a pretty good sandwich as the mayo and tomato brought everything together. I also asked for extra crispy fries and , to be fair, they were crispier - but the fries were in turn overcooked. Would not order extra crispy fries again, regular fries were also meh, so probably look for another option. Okay food, large portions but with a price tag that matches it.

We got the gochujang chicken and waffles with the bulgogi beef eggs benedict. Both were good, but didn't really impress in anyway. Maybe we chose the wrong menu items.
I came here back in November with my boyfriend and we both still think about this place! There was a line when we got there, and we were lucky to be able to be seated quite quickly as there were tables finishing their payments and just about to leave. Due to the number of guests that day, the space around our table was quite tight and cozy but that was fine by us. The servers were super friendly and when we had questions about the menu, they were able to help us narrow down our decisions (it was quite hard to choose because everything looked amazing!). My boyfriend got the Gochujang Chicken and Waffles with a juice (I believe it was lychee), and I got the Char Siu Benedict with a Hojicha Latte. The portion was much bigger than we had expected for the Gochujang Chicken and Waffles, which was definitely the highlight of the entire meal because this is a DEFINITE MUST TRY for the sweet/savoury combo lovers out there (note: the chicken wasn't a large thigh or two like other brunch restaurants we have been to, but rather chunks of chicken that were perfectly tossed in the gochujang). The Char Siu Benedict was also amazing, and I got truffle fries and a side salad. The Hojicha latte was recommended by not only the staff but also another diner who was seated next to us, and I definitely loved the rich flavour of the Hojicha. We will definitely come back (I dream about the Gochujang Chicken and Waffles), and I would highly recommend Sisters & Co for anyone in the Milliken/Markham area looking for an amazing Brunch spot!
I arrived here on a Sunday around 10:45 a.m. for 11 a.m. brunch with my girlfriends just in case there was a wait for a table. I was pleased that there was no wait & I was able to grab a table right away. The restaurant was already bustling however; I was greeted by a very energetic happy go lucky guy who offered to get me a drink while waiting for my friends. I opted to have the hot taro latte. Everyone arrived so we proceeded to order the spicy oxtail stew with a sunny side up egg & sourdough bread. We were asked how we like our egg done even though it is offered sunny side up. My friend opted to get hers overeasy. My other friend got the bulgogi benedict. I loved my spicy oxtail stew! It was spicy & tangy at the same time and the depth of the stew was rich & delicious. There was approximately 4 pieces of oxtail in the bowl along with boneless bits throughout. The sourdough worked so well with it... using it to sop up the stew. I also got to try my friend's bulgogi beef benedict. The beef was full of flavor & tender and the poached egg was cooked perfectly (soft & runny). I really enjoyed my time here. The food & beverage is nicely done here. The restaurant itself is modern with a simplistic design & is bright yet cozy. Will definitely visit again to try their other interesting menu items.
A busy place, particularly in the morning. Tasty food with nice presentations. The latte was nicely brewed. Very enjoyable. But it was a little rush as the servers came over to "remind" me about their seating time limit twice. Once was understandable, but twice was a little over, especially since I hadn't even ordered food yet! LOL. Overall, it is a good all-day breakfast/ lunch place. Lively vibe with tasty dishes. Check out my photos. Not bad. Still recommended regardless of the seating time "reminders".
Be prepared to wait if you come here during the weekend. We came around 11:30 and waited a full hour, although they do call you when your table is ready so you can leave and come back. The food and drinks were good though - we tried the bulgogi beef benedict and the cereal milk french toast. I also got a strawberry hojicha latte which sounds a bit weird but was actually pretty good. Overall I would say the food is better than Chillax but the wait and the lack of space make it a less enjoyable experience.

A cute fusion brunch spot, with a beautiful interior - I absolutely love the colour theme and vibes! Our server was also really sweet and offered suggestions on what to try based on what our preferences were. We tried the Sister's Breakfast Sandwich and the Bolgogi Benedict which both came with salad and home fries. The first thing I will rave about is the home fries (as a potato lover this is a big deal), the seasoning is so good and I would come back here just to eat these alone. I can't even think of another place to compare them to but I would say they are some of the best home fries I have ever had! My husband had the Bulgogi Benedict and really liked the twist on an eggs benny, the marination on the beef complemented the hollandaise sauce and eggs so well. He really enjoyed this meal and would try another version of their eggs benny again. For the breakfast sandwich, it was a tad bit greasy but the mix of the bacon, eggs and cheese with a garlic aioli sauce was really tasty and I would glady eat it again! I also really enjoyed their coffee and latte, good coffee makes brunch even more enjoyable. Overall, I would come back here many more times and am excited to try something on the sweet side next time (with a side of home fries of course!)
My absolute favourite breakfast restaurant in Markham! I never hesitate to choose this cute brunch spot for a lovely morning out. The food is absolutely delicious, I will always order the Beef Bulgogi Benedict with a side of home fries. And for something sweet I love the Cereal Milk french toast. 10/10 totally recommend!!
No for real- I wanted everything on the menu. I went for Sunday brunch for 2 and there are no reservations, so it was a 45 minute wait. Theres barely any space to wait inside the restaurant as it is quite a small restaurant to begin with, so we waited in the car. The ambience inside was so aesthetic- truly built for a gen z influencer to take photos of their food! Marble tables, gold accents, a bookshelf wall with timeless pieces. The bulgogi eggs benedict was just as expected- the beef was sweet and the poached eggs popped on top of them made it decadent altogether. The home fries had a sprinkle of cajun powder on them and were fried to perfection, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The gochujang chicken and waffles were an unlikely pairing that made me want to try it. It came with cucumber banchan and syrup, which i poured the syrup on top of the waffles to make it even better. The gochujang is just mild enough to keep the chicken sweet- similar to BBQ CHicken's secret sauce, or comparable to Korean fried chicken youd find anywhere. The waffle was fluffy added a nice texture to the chicken. Each bite was sweet, savoury, and spicy. The drinks were also great, just the right amount of sweetness, and they have alternative milk options too. Definitely coming back to try everything else on the menu!
This is an Asian fusion diner that serves brunch/lunch. There are 2 locations and we popped into the one in Markham where it's first come first serve (no reservations). You get an hour and 15 minutes of dining. Space was previously a diner and because they have a corner unit the space is bright but not necessarily spacious. Menu is varied. They have their standard breakfasts (eggs, pancakes and waffles) but also gochujang chicken and waffles to spaghetti to bulgogi fries. The traditional breakfast comes with standard white toast and you get 2 full slices, you also get a choice of bacon or sausage and scrambled or fried eggs. What we ordered: Black sesame pancakes Traditional breakfast with sausage Breakfast sandwich Bulgogi fries Iced Vietnamese latte Black coffee Food comes quickly and portions are decent. Service was good. Because there is a 90 minute seating limit the tables to turn over quite quickly. We would consider coming again.

Service 5/5 Food 4/5 Ambience 4/5 We popped in for brunch on a weekday. We were seated almost immediately. The server said we could sit anywhere at a table for two. We shared the chicken katsu sandwich and each had a latte. The serving is quite hearty and was sufficient for us. We really enjoyed the chicken katsu sandwich which comes with french fries and salad leaves. The chicken was stacked quite high and I had to take it apart to eat but I appreciate the generous serving of chicken and really enjoyed it. For me, it's a 4* comparing it to the chicken katsu sandwich at Katsupan which unfortunately closed. The service is friendly and attentive. Parking is available right outside the restaurant. read more

Cheer again today for Father's Day, even my daughter loved her pancake. I got the oxtail spicy stew and strawberry matcha latte. I thought the latte was fantastic, it is a 35-40 minute wait. The oxtail with the gravy was absolutely delicious, the meat melts in your mouth, their home fires are spectacular. I think one of the best breakfast places by far. The oxtail I recommend if you come here honestly everything in their menu is good. read more

Been here 4 times already at this Sisters & Co. Markham location, and I really enjoyed the food, drinks, and service! Some food we loved during my recent visit: Mushroom Truffle Benedict - Absolutely solid - Loved the lightly toasted English muffins Gochujang Chicken & Waffle - The Korean twist to a popular brunch item - Spicy, savoury, and sweet go so well together! Itty Bitty Wontons - They were surprisingly good and addictive lol - Very light and crispy ^^ Pandan Panna Cotta - Very delicious with that vanilla sweetness - Off menu - if they have this, must order! read more

The bulgogi beef Benedict is a solid option at Sisters & Co, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I ordered the black sesame buttermilk pancakes, and they took a long time to arrive. I think they forgot about them and so they took it off the bill, but they still were not worth the wait at all. The restaurant is always packed and has a waitlist, which means it is certainly still popular, but you're not missing out on too much if you haven't been yet. The decor is nice, and the green of the walls is aesthetically pleasing; if you like brunch for pictures, this might be worth it for you! read more

This location is right by Birchmount and 14th, lot in front isnt super big but there is a second lot in the back that has lots of space. We came on a Sunday for brunch, it was packed. They dont take reservations for brunch on weekends so you'll either have to come really early or just wait in line. Our wait was fairly quick, the hostess had said 30 mins but we were in within 15mins, best to wait in your car as there is not much space around the entrance. The inside is very modern and comfortable. We ordered the sesame pancakes, mushroom truffle benedict, beef bulgogi benedict and smoked salmon benedict. The food came out in a timely manner and presentation was great! The eggs were cooked perfectly, beautifully runny when cut open. No complaints about the food, would definitely come back again! read more
Super cute cafe and staff was really kind. You can request latte art, they usually try their best to do it if they're not busy. Loved their Mushroom Truffle Benedict and katsu sandwich. The cafe might look small but they have a good amount of seats. I don't believe you can book so you have to walk in. They'll take ur number and call you back when they have a table. It was my son's birthday so we went from breakfast/brunch . It was busy and we waited fr 35 minutes. We ordered our food and drinks . I ordered mango coconut vodka , it was good but could have been better as I felt coconut milk was less but I just fr more ice and enjoyed my drink . My family ordered latte , ice tea, coffee. The breakfast was very tasty. worth the wait . read more
Had lunch today and it was excellent! I ordered the Two Eggs In A Pod, which was very tasty and fresh. Presentation was excellent and clean. The staff were all very friendly and tentative. Service was quick and the order came out correct and hot. Highly recommend and will go back! read more
I wanted to try this spot since the fusion brunch menu seemed intriguing. The waiters promptly seated my friend and I as it was a rainy day when we went and the restaurant wasn't too busy. I thought the restaurant decor was simple but nicely decorated and bright! I ordered the truffle eggs benedict and found that the mushrooms were dry and the entire dish was quite bland. The hash was yummy but overall was not worth the price. The earl grey pancakes were dense and tasted like boxed mix to us. This place unfortunately didn't live up to our expectations due to the quality of the food along with long wait time. read more
The main intersection to this brunch place is Bathurst and Dundas. During the summer, they also offer a few tables outside for patio dinning experience. Most dishes are around 20$, while their non-alcoholic beverages hovers around 5$. They food portions are fair, and the service was speedy! This is definitely a great place to brunch on the west end - for smaller parties as the establishment isn't that big. Credit card payments are accepted - no AMEX though. read more

The Bulgogi Beef Benedict is a total game-changer -- the savory, marinated beef sits perfectly on top of a buttery English muffin, with a runny poached egg that just oozes all over it and served with Salad And Home Fries. All Sauces Are Served On The Side The combo of flavors hits all the right spots, with the beef bringing a nice Korean BBQ kick to the dish. And don't even get me started on the Pandan Coconut Panna Cotta. It's creamy, dreamy, and has that perfect balance of sweet and floral. The pandan flavor gives it a fun twist, and the coconut adds this richness that makes it super indulgent. The restaurant itself has a chill vibe, and the staff is super friendly. Plus, with free parking, you don't have to stress about finding a spot. It's one of those places you'll want to come back to again and again! read more

The food didn't take long to arrive after we had ordered it. In terms of service, the servers were friendly, but the level of service seemed to differ from table to table. The English muffin for the avocado Benedict was extremely tough to cut through. Taste-wise, it was alright. The gochujang chicken and waffle was different from those at other restaurants. The fried chicken wasn't large pieces of chicken. It was thin strips that had a bit too much time in the fryer. On the other hand, the waffle was very soft. I liked the gochujang sauce since it had a hint of spice but wasn't overly spicy. A cute fusion brunch spot that opened in Markham - yay! The restaurant inside is nicely decorated and the colours are so pretty inside with sage/ greenish vibes. It's an open kitchen concept so I thought the smell of oil/ grease from the kitchen really seeped into my hair and clothes while dining here. Service was great and I liked how every server didn't have a uniform to wear and could wear whatever they liked. Here's what we ordered: Iced ube latte 4/5 - Beautiful gradient purple colour and was not too sweet. Great starter to our meal. Spicy Oxtail Stew 3/5 - It's SPICY! Mouth was on fire and I couldn't really taste the dish properly since I was just too busy sweating from taking a bite. Could tone down the spice level a bit imo. Gochujang Chicken & Waffles 5/5 - This was great! Loved the chicken on the top since it was small boneless pieces that had a small kick and then had the sweetness from the waffles and syrup. This was great for sharing. Loved this one! Char Siu Eggs Benedict 4/5 - Upgraded to a truffle fries on the side and was such a great decision. The hollandaise sauce looked beautiful and glossy. Cereal Milk French Toast 5/5 - The best thing we ordered! I don't usually like french toast of any kind but this one really really hit the spot. Was also great for sharing at the end of the meal since it's a sweet finisher. Overall, love that there's a new brunch spot in Markham. Good is good. Bulgogi beef benny can use more beef. A little too skimmed on the meat. Salad could mixed better with the dressing. I like the black sesame pancakes. Yummy but pancakes could be more chewy. Taro latte is fine. Tastes like hot taro bubble tea. Ambiance is fine. Service is friendly and prompt. read more
Sisters & Co has been on my brunch bucket list for a long time, but I never got around to visiting their DT location due to the distance. So when they opened up a second location in Markham, I knew I had to visit! We tasted of a bit of everything on the menu, and my favourites were the bulgogi beef benny & earl grey pancakes. Their home fries are also pretty unique because they're a bit spicy. If I had to give a critique, it'd be that the food didn't really stand out for me compared to other brunch spots. Service was attentive, and food came out quickly despite how busy it was inside. Weekends are packed here, and they don't take reservations, so I recommend getting here early or being prepared for at least a 30-45min wait. Overall a pleasant experience, just shy of 5 stars for the minimal things. We went at peak time on a Sunday and was quoted 45 minutes. They were so accurate with this but make sure you answer after the second call attempt or they will go down to the next guest on the list. We tried the spicy oxtail stew and gochujang chicken & waffles. These are two spicy dishes with a kick so just beware if you can't handle it. The waffle itself came out cold (chicken was nice and hot), would prefer that the waffle came out hot off the waffle maker. I couldn't miss out on trying the pancakes, although we were both stuffed. Black sesame pancakes were delicious. We didn't really have 1 specific server for our table but everyone was very efficient and checked up on the tables regularly. Came here on a day off with my wife on a date. When we got here, we saw a bit of a line up. That's totally cool for us. The hostess was kind to us, very pleasant. Plus the service team are great, good attitude and always carry a smile. We decided to grab 2 sandwiches: breakfast sandwich + chicken katsu sandwich and a coffee for me. Both came not long after and quite tasty, not too oily. I had their home fries and expected to have a massive nap after I ate, to my surprise, not too heavy at all. Sisters & Co is a new Asian fusion brunch restaurant, tucked away at the corner of Birchmount and 14th. It's located inside a conspicuous plaza northeast of the intersection, so be sure not to miss it! We (party of 2) arrived on a Saturday around 12:50pm. There was a waitlist, so we put our names down and got told it would be about a 30min wait. It ended up being just over 20min, so that was great. They do call you when a table is about to be ready, so feel free to sit in your car or explore the small plaza (though there isn't much there to explore). If you're a larger party, I would expect a longer wait. There's only about 15-20 tables and they're mostly for parties 2-4. Menus are provided and there's normally a 'sweet item of the day'. Ours that day were tiramisu pancakes. The menu says market price, but the waitress didn't tell us the price, so not sure how much it was or would be. Both the hostess and a waitress told us about it though. I ended up getting a taro latte and the char siu eggs benedict. My friend got a cappuccino and the spicy oxtail stew. Service overall was very good, despite it being busy - 9/10. The food was alright. The taro latte tasted just like taro bubble tea, just hot and not too sweet. It also tastes nothing like actual taro :) The char siu eggs bennie was just okay. The hollandaise sauce was too heavy for me (like it usually is) so I only was able to finish one. I really liked the garlic aioli fries though, worth the $1.50 upgrade! The char siu itself is pulled and only has a hint of the classic char siu taste. The spicy oxtail stew was good, but pretty spicy. Flavourful, though. Overall for food - 7/10. TLDR; Overall, a good Asian fusion brunch place, competing against places like Alchemy, Elephant Grind Coffee, and Chillax Coffee. Great location and service is above par, but not my go-to! read more
New brunch spot in Markham...finally!! I find it's not easy finding a place to grab a latte with eggs Benny on a weekend. This resto just opened 3 weeks ago. We ordered the taro latte (so good), iced latte, spicy oxtail stew and bulgogi benny with fries and salad. The oxtail was quite spicy but good! The bulgogi benny with onions was very tasty. Everything was amazing, birthday lunch with my friend, he said wanna to try cause that's the new location in Markham. Perfect sitting spot with amazing sunlight to taking pictures. A brunch place in a pretty unconventional spot in Markham. It's in a business-building-meets-strip-mall type of location. The fact that it's busy in such an inconspicuous location is super impressive! There are no reservations, so you must join the daily wait list and leave your phone number. Note that there is little to no waiting room in the restaurant so you will likely sit in your car. We ordered the following: - Char siu benedict: The char siu was sweet and a little bit crispy. This is the first one I've had that actually tastes like char siu (and not just really sweet brisket). The egg was cooked very well. Home fries are quite spicy and comes with a salad. 10/10 - Coconut chia pudding: I couldn't find any reviews on this (it's probably unpopular as people don't usually order this over eggs benny) so I decided to try it as I wanted something light. Pretty good, nothing special of note. Tastes like what it should be! 7/10 - Taro latte: Tastes exactly like a taro bubble tea. Quite sweet. 8/10 - Vietnamese iced latte: Delicious. I've been here twice and both times I got this one. Rich and creamy, but also very strong. 10/10 If you are in the area and have time to spare for the wait, give Sisters & Co a visit! This is a cute little breakfast nook that takes Asian flavours and merges it with western cuisine. Tucked in the industrial areas of Markham, parking is somewhat limited. Party of 2; no waiting time We got seated pretty quickly, approached and acknowledged as well. Service was great - people were very friendly and provide lots of recommendations for first comers. They were opened two months ago with their parent company coming on 5 years in Toronto. Char siu Benedict 4 out of 5 Char siu pulled pork was flavorful and tender. Strong char siu flavor. Eggs were nice and gooey the way they're supposed to be. English muffin was soft. Came with fried taters and a salad. Black sesame pancakes 3 out of 5 The black sesame sauce they used for these pancakes made the dish. I wish I could bottle it up and submerge the pancakes in it. Pancakes itself had a mild sesame flavor. Overall, it was an ok dish. Would have been better with more sauce or an amped up sesame flavor in the batter. Flat white 3 out of 5 Nothing special. Tastes like brewed coffee... Overall the ambiance was cute and they had nice looking options for food. Just be prepared that it is very expensive for a brunch spot. read more
