Service 5/5 Food 4/5 Ambience 4/5 We popped in for brunch on a weekday. We were seated almost immediately. The server said we could sit anywhere at a table for two. We shared the chicken katsu sandwich and each had a latte. The serving is quite hearty and was sufficient for us. We really enjoyed the chicken katsu sandwich which comes with french fries and salad leaves. The chicken was stacked quite high and I had to take it apart to eat but I appreciate the generous serving of chicken and really enjoyed it. For me, it's a 4* comparing it to the chicken katsu sandwich at Katsupan which unfortunately closed. The service is friendly and attentive. Parking is available right outside the restaurant.
Bustling cafe in Markham with great fusion food. I got the gochujang chicken waffles and they were really good! My only criticism is that the chicken got cold pretty fast and I couldn't eat the last few pieces because they were so hard. Service was quite good, we were asked about our experience and if we needed anything quite often. Ambience was pretty busy inside, about what I'd expect for a busy cafe. Do note that the places fills up quite quickly! I went during Monday at lunch and we got the last table.
Cheer again today for Father's Day, even my daughter loved her pancake. I got the oxtail spicy stew and strawberry matcha latte. I thought the latte was fantastic, it is a 35-40 minute wait. The oxtail with the gravy was absolutely delicious, the meat melts in your mouth, their home fires are spectacular. I think one of the best breakfast places by far. The oxtail I recommend if you come here honestly everything in their menu is good.
Sisters & Co Markham is a chic diner brunch spot with more premium pricing than your usual diner, specializing in benedicts and various brunch items with Asian flares to them. It's extremely popular (always full) but the tables move quite quickly, so yes - while you most likely need to stay in line if you come during the weekends, you don't have to wait for long if you're on a cute brunch date for two. A few pros and cons about this place: Cons: 1) ordered the bulgogi benedict, and to be fair, it was not very impressive. While the English muffins underneath were toasted to perfection - crispy and soft, I was not impressed by the bulgogi/benedict. The thing about hollandaise sauce is that it's powerful, rich and creamy. What goes well with it needs to add another dimension of powerful flavour profiles, which is why it's usually paired with smoked proteins (smoked salmon, peameal bacon, pulled pork etc). While I love Bulgogi, it's usually sweet, refreshing that goes well with flavour neutral side such as plain rice (or bread, fries). When I had my Bennies, I could barely taste any of the bulgogi and it was a disappointment to me (it just tasted like an egg on an English muffin). 2) the size is quite small for its price (CAD 22). If you think the two bennies as one sandwich, it'd be a small English muffin. That's very pricy. Pros: 1) the "spicy" home fries were extremely well done. The flavour profiles were well delivered, with caramelized onions and pepper pieces mixed in. I had a great time enjoying them. 2) I enjoyed the drip coffee quite a bit. It was very fresh and the beans they used had a nice balance of acidity and bitterness. Very satisfying. 3) the service was superb. I really really appreciated my servers (Gabriella and Alan). They were extremely efficient while being attentive and friendly. I gauge that the servers are the primary reason why the restaurant, tho being extremely popular, still has a steady speed to move the lines and customers. Extremely impressive comparing to all other diners I've been to when it comes to service. Because of the servers and the home fries, I'd give it a four stars while the food/pricing need some works. I may come back sometime soon to try other items on the menu.
Wanted to try this place for a while now. Finally did for brunch! It was busy so expect a wait, even during weekdays... Overall service was fast and food came decently as well. Fried chicken sandwich - Fried chicken was lightly batter, kinda like a chicken nugget kind of coating. The chicken itself was thin and a bit on the dry side. The bread was a toasted white bread with beautiful colour but was a little on the dense side. Overall it was a pretty good sandwich as the mayo and tomato brought everything together. I also asked for extra crispy fries and , to be fair, they were crispier - but the fries were in turn overcooked. Would not order extra crispy fries again, regular fries were also meh, so probably look for another option. Okay food, large portions but with a price tag that matches it.
We came on a busy Saturday and was greeted warmly. Expect to wait as it gets very busy at weekend meal times but the crowd moves quickly. We got the gochujang chicken and waffles with the bulgogi beef eggs benedict. Both were good, but didn't really impress in anyway. Maybe we chose the wrong menu items.
I came here back in November with my boyfriend and we both still think about this place! There was a line when we got there, and we were lucky to be able to be seated quite quickly as there were tables finishing their payments and just about to leave. Due to the number of guests that day, the space around our table was quite tight and cozy but that was fine by us. The servers were super friendly and when we had questions about the menu, they were able to help us narrow down our decisions (it was quite hard to choose because everything looked amazing!). My boyfriend got the Gochujang Chicken and Waffles with a juice (I believe it was lychee), and I got the Char Siu Benedict with a Hojicha Latte. The portion was much bigger than we had expected for the Gochujang Chicken and Waffles, which was definitely the highlight of the entire meal because this is a DEFINITE MUST TRY for the sweet/savoury combo lovers out there (note: the chicken wasn't a large thigh or two like other brunch restaurants we have been to, but rather chunks of chicken that were perfectly tossed in the gochujang). The Char Siu Benedict was also amazing, and I got truffle fries and a side salad. The Hojicha latte was recommended by not only the staff but also another diner who was seated next to us, and I definitely loved the rich flavour of the Hojicha. We will definitely come back (I dream about the Gochujang Chicken and Waffles), and I would highly recommend Sisters & Co for anyone in the Milliken/Markham area looking for an amazing Brunch spot!
I arrived here on a Sunday around 10:45 a.m. for 11 a.m. brunch with my girlfriends just in case there was a wait for a table. I was pleased that there was no wait & I was able to grab a table right away. The restaurant was already bustling however; I was greeted by a very energetic happy go lucky guy who offered to get me a drink while waiting for my friends. I opted to have the hot taro latte. Everyone arrived so we proceeded to order the spicy oxtail stew with a sunny side up egg & sourdough bread. We were asked how we like our egg done even though it is offered sunny side up. My friend opted to get hers overeasy. My other friend got the bulgogi benedict. I loved my spicy oxtail stew! It was spicy & tangy at the same time and the depth of the stew was rich & delicious. There was approximately 4 pieces of oxtail in the bowl along with boneless bits throughout. The sourdough worked so well with it... using it to sop up the stew. I also got to try my friend's bulgogi beef benedict. The beef was full of flavor & tender and the poached egg was cooked perfectly (soft & runny). I really enjoyed my time here. The food & beverage is nicely done here. The restaurant itself is modern with a simplistic design & is bright yet cozy. Will definitely visit again to try their other interesting menu items.
I came here for brunch with my family. Me and my brother shared the gochujang fried chicken & waffles, chicken was juicy and the waffles had perfect amount of sweetness. My mom ordered eggs benedict with smoked salmon on englsh muffin & salad & home fries which she enjoyed. I ordered the cereal milk french toast for a sweet treat it was delicious but huge portion so we couldnt finish. Modern interior and good service!
A busy place, particularly in the morning. Tasty food with nice presentations. The latte was nicely brewed. Very enjoyable. But it was a little rush as the servers came over to "remind" me about their seating time limit twice. Once was understandable, but twice was a little over, especially since I hadn't even ordered food yet! LOL. Overall, it is a good all-day breakfast/ lunch place. Lively vibe with tasty dishes. Check out my photos. Not bad. Still recommended regardless of the seating time "reminders".
Interesting menu, it's fusion style brunch Enjoyed their strawberry matcha Loved their Benny and and French toast
Be prepared to wait if you come here during the weekend. We came around 11:30 and waited a full hour, although they do call you when your table is ready so you can leave and come back. The food and drinks were good though - we tried the bulgogi beef benedict and the cereal milk french toast. I also got a strawberry hojicha latte which sounds a bit weird but was actually pretty good. Overall I would say the food is better than Chillax but the wait and the lack of space make it a less enjoyable experience.
A cute fusion brunch spot, with a beautiful interior - I absolutely love the colour theme and vibes! Our server was also really sweet and offered suggestions on what to try based on what our preferences were. We tried the Sister's Breakfast Sandwich and the Bolgogi Benedict which both came with salad and home fries. The first thing I will rave about is the home fries (as a potato lover this is a big deal), the seasoning is so good and I would come back here just to eat these alone. I can't even think of another place to compare them to but I would say they are some of the best home fries I have ever had! My husband had the Bulgogi Benedict and really liked the twist on an eggs benny, the marination on the beef complemented the hollandaise sauce and eggs so well. He really enjoyed this meal and would try another version of their eggs benny again. For the breakfast sandwich, it was a tad bit greasy but the mix of the bacon, eggs and cheese with a garlic aioli sauce was really tasty and I would glady eat it again! I also really enjoyed their coffee and latte, good coffee makes brunch even more enjoyable. Overall, I would come back here many more times and am excited to try something on the sweet side next time (with a side of home fries of course!)

Came here on a day off with my wife on a date. When we got here, we saw a bit of a line up. That's totally cool for us. The hostess was kind to us, very pleasant. Plus the service team are great, good attitude and always carry a smile. We decided to grab 2 sandwiches: breakfast sandwich + chicken katsu sandwich and a coffee for me. Both came not long after and quite tasty, not too oily. I had their home fries and expected to have a massive nap after I ate, to my surprise, not too heavy at all. We will come back again to try other things on a not as busy time slot. read more
Sisters & Co is a new Asian fusion brunch restaurant, tucked away at the corner of Birchmount and 14th. It's located inside a conspicuous plaza northeast of the intersection, so be sure not to miss it! We (party of 2) arrived on a Saturday around 12:50pm. There was a waitlist, so we put our names down and got told it would be about a 30min wait. It ended up being just over 20min, so that was great. They do call you when a table is about to be ready, so feel free to sit in your car or explore the small plaza (though there isn't much there to explore). If you're a larger party, I would expect a longer wait. There's only about 15-20 tables and they're mostly for parties 2-4. Menus are provided and there's normally a 'sweet item of the day'. Ours that day were tiramisu pancakes. The menu says market price, but the waitress didn't tell us the price, so not sure how much it was or would be. Both the hostess and a waitress told us about it though. I ended up getting a taro latte and the char siu eggs benedict. My friend got a cappuccino and the spicy oxtail stew. Service overall was very good, despite it being busy - 9/10. The food was alright. The taro latte tasted just like taro bubble tea, just hot and not too sweet. It also tastes nothing like actual taro :) The char siu eggs bennie was just okay. The hollandaise sauce was too heavy for me (like it usually is) so I only was able to finish one. I really liked the garlic aioli fries though, worth the $1.50 upgrade! The char siu itself is pulled and only has a hint of the classic char siu taste. The spicy oxtail stew was good, but pretty spicy. Flavourful, though. Overall for food - 7/10. TLDR; Overall, a good Asian fusion brunch place, competing against places like Alchemy, Elephant Grind Coffee, and Chillax Coffee. Great location and service is above par, but not my go-to! read more
New brunch spot in Markham...finally!! I find it's not easy finding a place to grab a latte with eggs Benny on a weekend. This resto just opened 3 weeks ago. We ordered the taro latte (so good), iced latte, spicy oxtail stew and bulgogi benny with fries and salad. The oxtail was quite spicy but good! The bulgogi benny with onions was very tasty. The resto is clean with lots of natural light. If you're in the area, make sure to check them out! read more
Everything was amazing, birthday lunch with my friend, he said wanna to try cause that's the new location in Markham. Perfect sitting spot with amazing sunlight to taking pictures. Super love their taro latte, ordered traditional breakfast not too bad Server was amazing and friendly, definitely recommend it read more

A brunch place in a pretty unconventional spot in Markham. It's in a business-building-meets-strip-mall type of location. The fact that it's busy in such an inconspicuous location is super impressive! There are no reservations, so you must join the daily wait list and leave your phone number. Note that there is little to no waiting room in the restaurant so you will likely sit in your car. We ordered the following: - Char siu benedict: The char siu was sweet and a little bit crispy. This is the first one I've had that actually tastes like char siu (and not just really sweet brisket). The egg was cooked very well. Home fries are quite spicy and comes with a salad. 10/10 - Coconut chia pudding: I couldn't find any reviews on this (it's probably unpopular as people don't usually order this over eggs benny) so I decided to try it as I wanted something light. Pretty good, nothing special of note. Tastes like what it should be! 7/10 - Taro latte: Tastes exactly like a taro bubble tea. Quite sweet. 8/10 - Vietnamese iced latte: Delicious. I've been here twice and both times I got this one. Rich and creamy, but also very strong. 10/10 If you are in the area and have time to spare for the wait, give Sisters & Co a visit! They also have a second location in Dundas West if you are interested too. read more
This is a cute little breakfast nook that takes Asian flavours and merges it with western cuisine. Tucked in the industrial areas of Markham, parking is somewhat limited. Party of 2; no waiting time We got seated pretty quickly, approached and acknowledged as well. Service was great - people were very friendly and provide lots of recommendations for first comers. They were opened two months ago with their parent company coming on 5 years in Toronto. Char siu Benedict 4 out of 5 Char siu pulled pork was flavorful and tender. Strong char siu flavor. Eggs were nice and gooey the way they're supposed to be. English muffin was soft. Came with fried taters and a salad. Black sesame pancakes 3 out of 5 The black sesame sauce they used for these pancakes made the dish. I wish I could bottle it up and submerge the pancakes in it. Pancakes itself had a mild sesame flavor. Overall, it was an ok dish. Would have been better with more sauce or an amped up sesame flavor in the batter. Flat white 3 out of 5 Nothing special. Tastes like brewed coffee... Overall the ambiance was cute and they had nice looking options for food. Just be prepared that it is very expensive for a brunch spot. read more
Came here on a Sunday so we were prepared for a wait since no reservations allowed. They add you to waitlist and call you when they have a table. * recommend while you wait you look at the menu** Tried their char siu Benny. They mentioned that the hash was gonna be spicy but found it fine (I can't really handle spice lol) Benny itself was fine but I found the pulled pork at elephant grind to be more flavorful. Salad was fine but nothing special. Matcha latte was nice not super sweet. Overall was nice brunch but they make sure you're out after 1 hr 15 mins. For the time constraint and cost, I think there are better options. Worth a try if you want brunch and in the area! read more
This restaurant is located in a quiet plaza on 14th and Birchmount. Really loved the vibe and modern decor. The restaurant is very spacious with lots of seating and parking spots outside. I ordered the Avocado Eggs Benedict and a latte. It was presented nicely and I loved the home fries! It does have a Cajun spice flavour to it, which was unique. They offered the Tiramisu Pancakes as a special, but I didn't order due to wanting to cut down on sugar. I also liked how the menu included Asian fusion items such as char sui eggs Benedict, Korean fried chicken, Thai iced tea, taro lattes. Love the creativity and variety of options! The taste is comparable to other brunch restaurants in Markham. However, I wish they offered seafood options such as crabs cakes Benedict and fruit with their dishes. Quality is up there, but not necessarily my favourite in the area. Service was friendly and polite as well, which I appreciated. read more

Finally got to try Sisters & Co! Ever since the opened up their downtown location, we've been wanting to try their food. Since they don't take reservations on the weekend and we don't live in the area, it really didn't make sense for us to go most of the time. So when they opened their Markham location, we were super excited. Definitely gave us a higher chance of us being able to try their food. We got their around noon on a Saturday to put our name on the waiting list. They said the wait was around 30-40 mins, give or take. They took our number down and we just did some errands close by. They called us 30 mins later to say our table would be ready in 10 mins. We really appreciated the 10 minute warning as we had time to wrap up what we were doing and head over to make it on time and not lose our spot. This place is very cute inside and is perfect for a brunch date with friends, your SO or anyone really! Ordering was super easy and quick (especially since we looked at the menu ahead of time on their website). We got the bulgogi fries, gochujang chicken and waffles and the spicy oxtail stew. Everything was delicious. The bulgogi fries were perfectly seasoned and every bite was perfection. We liked the gochujang chicken and waffles, but it's more of a saucy chicken on waffles. For us personally, if it was a more dry and crispy chicken, it would have been chef's kiss. The spicy oxtail stew was a nice surprise. We didn't see any pictures of it, so didn't really know what to expect. It's similar to shakshouka with a tomatoey base, but the egg is fried and it has oxtail. It's served with sourdough bread, which paired so nicely. It was spicy - the spiciest of the three dishes! We love spicy so we thought it was really good. Portions were generous for the price. Since it was just the two of us, we had leftovers to take home. Service was good. Water was always refilled, we were check on a couple of times during our meal and we never felt rushed even though there is an hour and 15 min seating time. We were the ones to ask for the bill, not the servers. Overall, super happy we finally got to try this place. It definitely lives up to the hype. Happy to see more restaurants with asian twists on dishes! read more
This place is always packed and today we finally get to try it without waiting. It's weekday lunch and still 80% full, you can see how popular this place is. We ordered a cha siu egg benny and bulgogi egg benny, portion ok with the price slightly higher than academy. Bulgogi egg benny tastes delicious, their cajun fries are not so spicy and crispy, perfectly cooked. Taro latte is the best, not so sweet with strong taro scent, it's like you are drinking taro bbt. My husband ordered a flat white.. so so, if you are looking to good coffee here, you might be disappointed. It's a great brunch place uptown, and will definitely come back on a weekday again, weekend is too crazy busy. read more

Came here for brunch on a Monday afternoon, and for a Monday lunch hour, I would consider it quite busy (which is an excellent sign!). There were available tables, but about 2-3 left at the time approx 12:30pm. Drinks: - for starters were ordered each a taro latte as I've heard amazing things about it, and it didn't disappoint! It was definitely a hit. Food: - ordered the truffle mushroom eggs Benny complimented by home fries and a salad. Garlic aioli dip for the home fries. I was thoroughly pleased as all ingredients were fresh, generous in portion, and well made. Flavourful, and a great balance between crispy & saucy. Yum. I would recommend to order! - spicy oxtail stew- loved it. I love oxtail and a tomato base-like spicy, hearty stew complimented by buttered bread & an egg, YUM! Would also recommend to order. Service was good, attentive and was able to attend to us even tho I could see they were quite busy. Price - approx $19-25 range for entrees. $4-8 for drinks- they even have an option to add baileys shots to your coffee. A great bonus about this place is they have many options to substitute or add on items to your meal. Would definitely be coming back here to try their sweet options as well. read more
Be expected to wait for a while during weekend, they are super busy. When I first walked in I noticed their decoration and really loved the aesthetics of the restaurant. We ordered the gochung chicken and waffles, two eggs in a pod ( smoked salmon benny) and a Thai iced tea. The chicken was flavourful and good and the eggs benny was also good too. I loved the Thai iced tea a lot. The only thing I would say is that it's quite on the pricey side for brunch. read more
I went to Sisters & Co specifically to try their Spicy Oxtail Stew. This is a hearty stew, slow-cooked, with bone-in oxtail and beef ribs in a rich, spicy tomato and herb base. While there isn't much meat and the pieces are small, they are at least tender. Although I enjoy spicy food, I found this dish to be a bit too spicy for me, and I wish it was adjustable. The stew is topped with mozzarella and a sunny-side-up egg. It's served with buttered sourdough toast, which I really enjoyed, perfect for dipping into the stew. It's priced at $25.50, which feels very steep for the portion. But if you're in the mood for something that will warm you up and you don't mind the price or heat, this stew is worth a try. On the side, I had a Thai iced tea for $5, which was exactly what you'd expect. It's a pretty typical brunch spot. Next time I'm back, I'll definitely try some of the other unique options on their menu. Be aware that parking is a bit limited here! read more
Sisters & Co is always busy and bustling! We went on a Tuesday at around 12 pm, and the place was already filled up! However, the restaurant still had great vibes and friendly service. We ordered The Girl Breakfast, Oxtail Stew, Vietnamese Latte, and Hojicha Latte. Everything was delicious and unique tasting! read more

Came here on a Monday afternoon. Surprisingly busy. I know this place is very popular, but Monday?! On my server's recommendation I ordered the Sweet Tooth Special which was Apple Crumble Pancakes. I love pancakes but I was a bit hesitant because I don't like overly sweet toppings. He assured me he thought it was the best thing on the menu. They were so fluffy and not too sweet. Fresh apple topping with cream. Not enough syrup, but that's a small thing. I had a Vietnamese iced latte which was average, nothing special. Flavour not intense enough. My partner ordered the Sisters Salad which was basically mixed greens with some balsamic and oil. Nothing special and would not recommend. Overall the pancake flavour was amazing and worth the trip alone! read more
Heard about this place for quite some time, and finally came to this location in Markham a short while ago on Victoria Day with my other half and his sister's family. We called ahead and they told us the wait is about an hour or so, so we timed it a bit before arriving. Lots of parking available on a weekend/holiday, since it's in a commercial area. We got black sesame pancakes, cereal milk french toast, gochuchang chicken & waffle, bulgolgi beef benedict & mushroom truffle benedict. The portion sizes were very generous. My fav were the black sesame pancakes and the gochuchang chicken & waffle (the chicken was seasoned very well and it was very tasty). Service was pretty quick despite it being so busy and staff are friendly. read more
I've been wanting to try Sisters and Co. for a really long time. Never tried the downtown location so I was excited they opened a location in Markham. They took over the old Milliken Restaurant space and remodelled it into a bright and modern space. I was immediately greeted when I entered the restaurant and told to sit anywhere. The service is impeccable and attentive. I was told the sweet tooth special and had to definitely get the Tiramisu pancakes which are only available the month of June. I also wanted to try something regular so I ordered the Traditional breakfast and substituted the eggs for Avocado. I was surprised they charged me an extra $2 for the substitute but I guess it's okay. I also ordered a cappuccino. Cappuccino came out first followed by the traditional breakfast and then the tiramisu pancakes. The food was hot and presented perfectly. They obviously take time to make sure everything looks perfect, from the perfectly sliced avocado to the perfectly arranged toast. Each dish is perfect and attention is obviously given to each dish that comes out of the kitchen. The homesfries are nicely fried with a nice little kick to them, the bacon nicely cooked and the toast is lightly toasted perfection. Overall a nice, beautiful and tasty traditional breakfast, not greasy, just yummy. The tiramisu pancakes are just as perfectly presented. Topped with mascarpone and lightly dusted with coco powder. First bit, it tastes like tiramisu. My only issue are the pancakes are quite chewy, and not light and fluffy. Overall, it is a perfect sweet tooth option and worth a try if you are visiting the restaurant in June. The cappuccino is more of a latte, which is typical of most establishments as they tend to make it more of a latte than a traditional cappuccino. Overall, an elevated brunch experience. Beautiful restaurant, great service and yummy food. I will return to try and few other dishes I was eyeing. So glad they are here in Markham!!! read more
I ordered the Bulgogi Eggs Benny, which was incredibly flavorful and a nice twist on your traditional eggs benny. However, I wish it did have a bit more beef, did feel like they skimped out a bit especially for the price. The house fries that came with the benny had a mildly spicy kick to them, which was actually quite delicious! My friends enjoyed the Char Siu Eggs Benny and Ox Tail Stew as well, both of which were a huge hit. The service was quick, and the staff were very friendly. The place does get busy on weekends, so be prepared to wait a bit, or come earlier for a shorter wait! We arrived at 9am on a Sunday and waited about 15 mins. read more

Came for brunch today and even on a weekdays it is pretty full seating! I didn't wait at all for a table but I saw some people wait for a short time. Wanted to order chai latte but they were out so I got the matcha latte, it doesn't come with sugar so they suggested adding some condense milk which I was fine with (I didn't realize they charged $0.75 for condensed milk, I don't mind, but the waitress should have been upfront about the cost). My friend had the iced Thai tea which looked good too! My friend ordered the guchujang chicken and waffles. The chicken wasn't that spicy. I thought it looked better than the taste. I guess by the time I had it I thought the chicken wasn't crispy enough. I liked the cucumber kimchi though. I ordered the beef bulgogi Benedict, it was tasty and the beef was sweet. Eggs poached perfectly with enough hollandaise sauce. Has was good too with a little kick. For dessert we had the earl grey pancake. The earl grey mascarpone was very tasty and the pancake was fluffy but a little too chewy. Overall, it was good food but I think I had a little higher expectations here since I can get this other brunch restaurants closer to me. read more
Giving this place a 3.5 stars. I got the breakfast sandwich and the hot taro latte. The sandwich was nothing too special; typical breakfast sandwich however I really liked their salad dressing. Their taro latte tasted like the powder that bubble tea places use. They have some asian inspired dishes which sounds good. The table next to us got the pancakes which looked so good so maybe will try that if I'm looking for a sweet breakfast. We were sitting at a table at the corner and it was a bit tight when the table in the other corner was filled as well; had to be mindful of the chairs. Had a fair amount of parking spots as well. read more
I came to try the breakfast and ordered the "Two egg in a pod" $19.50 and the taro latte $4.75. When we sat down they told us the seating limit was 1 hour, and the menu said 1.25 hours, which I thought was already short. We had a table of 6 and 18% gratuity is applied. The food was average, the English muffin was hard. They did well with the poached egg , and salad was good.. I guess is expected to be good if paying this price. I am Just not happy that they apply the 18% tips to our bill, and rushed for us to leave as there were other customers waiting. If it need to be fast turnover, then prices should be lower . I should be able to sit and enjoy the meal and have conversations with friends and not rushed. read more
Amazing brunch spot. Small and cozy place but the flavors of the food is big. Really enjoyed the music as well. They have a time limit on dining which I think is needed to help with wait time. Everything on the menu sounds delicious but I decided to go with the bulgogi egg Benedict it came with a side salad and home fries. The dressing on the side salad was tasty. The bulgogi egg and hollandaise were a perfect combination. I definitely would return to this restaurant if in the area. read more
I've been stalking this place since I noticed their signage a number of months back. Perusing the menu, I was excited to try some of their unique offerings, including gochujang chicken and waffles, or the bulgogi beef eggs benedict. On my visit to the café on a Saturday morning, the place was packed at 9:30am. My server Maya was delightful. Her genuine smile and ability to make customers feel welcome are a definite asset to this establishment. She took my name and phone number and I waited in the car for about 10 minutes until a table became available. Upon being seated, I ordered a flat white as well as the Bulgogi egg benedict. My food came out quickly from when I ordered it. My flat white was okay, but was a bit on the acidic side. The latte art was on point though. My bulgogi beef eggs Bennie was delicious. I enjoyed how the sweetness of the Bulgogi beef went really well with the eggs and the salad, and was complimented by the spicier and crispy home fries. The aesthetics of this café are really cute. The food is delicious and definitely warrants repeated visits. I'm so excited that this new café just south of downtown Markham has finally opened and will definitely be back. read more

Love the new location as it is conveniently accessible in Markham with free parking. My family decided to go here for Saturday brunch with a party of 8. The wait at 10AM was around 45 minutes which we were willing to wait for, considering how big our party was. It looked like the wait wasn't too long for smaller party sizes as people were leaving. We ordered a bit of everything but the eggs benny and black sesame pancakes were the highlights for us. The service was very friendly and accommodating for our big party. Loved the design on the pancakes and it was a plus that the pancakes were not too sweet' read more

This place is overhyped and we don't understand why. Please hear us out! We joined the wait list and received a call 30mins later that our table is ready. We entered the restaurant and we still had to wait another 15 minutes. First, we ordered the hojicha latte. They use tea bags for their lattes and there was barely any flavour because it was steeping in warm milk. So not worth $5. Next, we got the Gochujang chicken waffle. The chicken was barely warm (you can even say it's cold) and it was definitely not fried chicken. There was no crispiness or crunch to it. Just cold chicken drenched in sauce. Again not worth $22.50. Lastly, we ordered the Katsu chicken club sandwich. The katsu was not made fresh, as the breading was hard to chew and the sandwich was dry. Wasted $19 This place only cares about profit so don't expect a satisfying meal. Please save your time and money. There are much better brunch options in the area. So disappointed :( read more
We decided to try this place out after seeing Keith Lee's review of it. We've always lived nearby and this place replaced the Milliken Restaurant that used to be here. We came at around 11:30 on a thursday and the place was completely packed, although that may be because of the Keith Lee review. The place itself is fairly small so if you are going to have a large party, make sure to call and make a reservation. Despite it being so busy the service was still good as it didn't take long to get our orders and meals. We ordered a pair of cappucino's and the taste is about what you expect from a cafe (good but don't expect a roastery's level of quality). As for our meals I had the gochujang waffles and my wife had the avocado benedict. Both were very good and the gochujang waffles was a nice fusion approach to chicken and waffles. The waffles themselves were definitely the highlight and I'm sure anything on the menu with the waffles will be good. The chicken was good, but I've had better quality chicken at other places, the gochujang sauce though definitely made it better, and if they had used a more korean fried chicken style of chicken it would have been great. The avocado eggs benedict was definitely very good by benedict standards, although since this restaurant specializes in fusion cuisine I think the bulgogi or char siu benedicts will be better. Overall the place was very nice and it definitely rivals other very good brunch places in the area. Come to this place if you're looking for interesting takes on fusion brunch options. read more
3.5 stars ** we went here on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy and packed. We were seated immediately but people who came after had to wait. We ordered the mushroom Benedict and the chicken and waffles. Both dishes were sizeable portions however they were not amazing. The chicken was good and a bit spicy which I enjoy. The waffle was cold however. The mushroom Benedict was mid due to the minuscule amount of mushrooms. The fries were not good and cold. Viet latte was good but too small. Had foam at the top. All in all this is a nice brunch spot however there's nothing special about it that would make me come back. Service was decent and food was decent however they could improve by making sure their food is hot when it comes out as well as adding more dishes to their menu. read more
Solid brunch restaurant in Markham. The place can get busy and there might be a lineup, but the wait time is not too bad and I really appreciated today's service. They not only refilled the water and coffee, but just as our hands were getting messy with the food the waiter took initiative by coming by with extra napkins within 5 seconds. The food is also top notch with the right amount of seasoning and not too salty. You'll notice lots of Asian inspired ingredients on the menu. I'd come back if we are in the area and I'd recommend this place to others. read more
I came here with my mom on a Friday around noon and this place was completely full! When we walked in, they told us it would likely be about a 15 minute wait but then my mom spotted an empty table near the back corner and I inquired about it. Turns out, they didn't offer us the table since it was missing a chair... Which was a little silly. Good thing she asked though, as one of the other servers managed to locate a chair, so our waiting time turned out to be only a few minutes. We sat down, were given cutlery, menus, and water. They were pretty quick to check up on us again to take our orders. I opted for the BLACK SESAME PANCAKES and a VIETNAMESE ICED LATTE while my mom ordered the SISTER'S BREAKFAST SANDWICH and THAI ICED TEA. Honestly, I was impressed with how quickly the drinks and food came out thereafter - fresh and hot also, while still maintaining a really nice presentation. The servers were also great about asking if my mom wanted any pepper, ketchup, etc with her meal. BLACK SESAME PANCAKES: great portions and the pancakes were quite moist and fluffy. Overall, very nutty and aromatic in flavor. The marscarpone coupled with the drizzle were flavorful and definitely sweet enough on its own, I didn't even touch my syrup! VIETNAMESE ICED LATTE: strong coffee, just the way I like it! SISTER'S BREAKFAST SANDWICH: the sandwich itself was nice and fluffy. The homefries were well seasoned (tasted like BBQ seasoning) with a slight kick to them at the end. The salad was also delicious. THAI ICED TEA: strong flavor as well, a good rendition of a classic. Both my mom and I were stuffed! Which speaks to the portions. All in all, we had a lovely time and didn't feel rushed at all. Service was friendly and they were very attentive when it came to constantly making sure our cups of water were full - we never had to ask once for water. read more

Pleasantly surprised with this fairly new addition to the Markham breakfast/brunch choices Clean and simply decorated inside, a good selection of food choices without being overwhelming and prices are quite reasonable read more
A delightful breakfast experience that balances flavor, service and ambiance beautifully. The avocado benedict and mushroom truffle benedict were standouts, complemented by zesty hollandaise sauce that tied the dish together. The coffee was fresh and delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. read more
I got the earl grey pancakes with a side of bacon and eggs, my girlfriend the fried chicken & waffles. The pancakes are large, and come with more than enough earl grey whipped cream, with a tiny bit of syrup with a few strawberries. For the price, I didn't expect anything less from a modern establishment; however, I knew it wouldn't fill me up. I'm thinking.. well, i'll get eggs and bacon. for $7.50 before tax, you're given a few pieces of bacon that aren't crisp, and about 1 scrambled egg from the looks of it? Crime. My girlfriend didn't touch the fried chicken pieces. and barely ate the waffle since the sauce was all over it.. We noticed no one else was eating this meal either. This is getting ridiculous, for the price I expect more, and to be quite honest based on the reviews it's really disappointing. Luckily the city of Markham has a large population because I can't imagine there's many returning customers. Oh, and I'll spare you photos taken of body hair all over the bathrooms :) - Although, I will add them if questioned by management. 2/5. read more
The food was great. We had similar dishes, and split the sweet option. The bulgogi Benedict was fantastic, as was the char siu. The sesame pancakes were very good, but the sesame flavour could have been much more intense, they just tasted like pancakes. read more
