Taiwanese bakery on the lower level of Tangram. Very clean and pastries nicely displayed. We really liked the Portuguese egg tarts and walnut loaf. Although the matcha ball looked quite cute, we were not fans of the flavor or texture. The maple danish loaf was also not a hit...only had a hint of sweetness. But we will be back to try other items. Gift cards are also available for purchase.

This Taiwanese bakery was a favorite growing up on the west coast and I love how there's one in Flushing. Located in Tangram mall, it's the perfect spot to grab a quick bite (or a snack for later!). You can enjoy your breads and pastries at upstairs at their tables, in the mall food court, or in the comfort of your own home. They have a good selection of sweet and savory pastries here, at an affordable price. I love their egg tarts and their pork sung bun, but all of them are good! A great, reliable bakery with always fresh, fluffy pastries. (Oh! And their drinks are also always the perfect pair with their breads!)

85°C Bakery Cafe is currently baking in California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, Utah, Hawaii, Arizona, New Jersey, New York, Illinois, and Kansas. The first-ever and only location in the east coast celebrated its Grand Opening from January 10-12, 2025. 85°C Bakery Cafe is located on the ground floor by the 39th avenue entrance in Tangram. Follow the aroma of fresh baked bread! 85°C Bakery Cafe features an in-shop bakery with over 50 varieties of pastries baked fresh. There are savory and sweet pastries, danishes and strudels, cakes, box sets of egg tarts, individual desserts, and drinks. Everything is displayed in an organized way and packed individually. I purchased the Mango Custard Bun and 85°C Egg Tart. The Mango Custard Bun is a soft, mango flavored bread filled with sweet mango custard cream. This bun was packed with mango flavor and the perfect sweetness. If you love mango as much as I do, then definitely get this. The 85°C Egg Tart is a creamy egg custard filling baked in a buttery, flaky crust. Both of these pastries were very delectable and heavenly. I can't wait to come back to try other items.

A friend made me try one of their pastries. It's called TARO ROLLS. I love it that it has the combination of crunchy and soft. Sweetness is just enough as well. Highly recommend!!

This is my favorite Asian bakery maybe ever in America. The variety here is like insane and they have seasonal items and still LOW PRICE! All their bread is super super soft and fluffy. And never have they tasted stale they're all usually fresh! Self serve bread and fast checkout. My favorite buns are: coconut milk + choco strawberry cream + taro mochi boroh + normal choco w cream Runner ups are: matcha choco + mango custard Other notes: taro puff needed more taro filling, mangotale too soggy cream cheese not enough mango, Hokkaido cream bread, boroh bread with cream (it was just a pasty custard), milk puff pastry less filling inside tho, orange cream but cream is not orange enough cookie choco bun woulda been gas if it had cream, salt bread, premium milk bun soft but the milk filling is lowkey just really sweet white chocolate, Boroh bread, marble taro (tried this again and it's good but just not that much flavor), ube bread was just hard and didn't like ube taste Egg tart w mochi p good was cool to taste the mochi

The bakery is located on the 1st floor of the Tangram Mall, 39th ave side. Very convenient by 7 train, parking at the mall for a fee. Learned about the opening so remembered to pass by when I was there. I don't mind the smaller bun sizes and a large variety too; and prices are low considering it is located in a mall.

As you enter Tangram Mall, 85C Bakery is located on your left. It was the first establishment that I saw opening the doors. Many packaged bakery items to select from. Yummy goodness. Was with a couple of Yelp peeps after attending a Yelp event. We were all shopping at this bakery. Noticed two staff making coffee. Bright lights and display cases filled will pastries and baked goods. Grabbed a tray got several items -Red Bean Bread -Ube Bread - This is my favorite. It was not too sweet nor salty. Good size filling of ube. -Matcha Red Bean- Like a mini size cake roll with red beans on top and creamy center -Milk Pudding- Liked the filling inside Very impressed with all the baked items and pastries. Reasonably priced. Will be back again to try their other products.

Heard a lot about this bakery and decided to order a Father's Day cake online for pickup. Apparently you have to wait on the register line to retrieve your cake and not the pick up area. The layout of the shop is a little tight with little movement on each side. When there's a line, it blocks the shopping experience. While I was on the line, I picked up a boroh danish to try. It was a resemblance to the Chinese pineapple bun, except it's flaky and buttery. It reminds me of a croissant with a slight sweet crunch for the crisscross topping. Decent bun, but I would to go back to try their other buns. As for the cake, it was a tiramisu cheesecake-- but it tasted 95% cheesecake rather than tiramisu. It was a hit with the crowd though, because it was not "too sweet" and fluffy.

Okay. Came back here again because I cannot get enough of their sea salt coffee with boba. It's so addictive and seriously they have the best tasting boba and texture is on point. I got the oolong tea with mini crystal boba and that one was eh and didn't hit. I got the Portuguese egg tarts again and the chocolate cake roll. This time I tried the choco bun and surprising I liked it. I wanted to get their Thai tea but thought ordering three drinks for myself was a bit much, so I opted for the bottle version. I'm not sure if the pre-package bottle is the same as the fresh one, but I am hoping it's not because the ingredients are crazy. Definitely not getting the bottle version and also, it was too sweet and very creamy colour than orange colour.

This bakery had many tasty and unique bread. Had a Black Forest cake and milk tea with a promo. The cake is sweet with chocolate flavour. Milk tea is classic. Had iced coffee during another day. It was awakening. The service was good. Can pick up our order at the counter after ordering. Can also order from the machine. There are seats upstairs. Tables are limited.

I've known about 85°C Bakery for a while I used to always go to the one in Irvine, California, so when I found out they had a location in Flushing, I was SO excited and had to check it out! It's located inside Tangram Mall, and the whole place is super clean, modern, and well organized. The service was also really kind and welcoming, even with how busy it gets. They have such a wide selection of pastries and breads, it honestly feels impossible to pick just one because everything looks delicious. For drinks, I tried the Vanilla Iced Latte which was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet and the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso SO good, perfectly balanced, and gave that strong coffee flavor while still tasting sweet and refreshing.Another plus is there's a parking lot, which makes it super convenient compared to other places in the area.Overall, this spot definitely gave me that same vibe I love from the Irvine location. If you're in Flushing and want a good coffee pastry stop, this is the place! Definitely coming back to try more pastries

I do like this Taiwanese bakery. The drinks and cakes are reasonably priced. The cake slices are light and yummy and the best price in down town flushing. I ordered a few slice cakes and Mother's Day cakes and they were all nice. Only issue I had is when they first opened, I found a metal wired inside my mango slice cake so I deducted a star. I have returned a few more times since then and I luckily never find anything else weird in the cakes. The staffs are all very nice and friendly. The ambiance here is nice a chill. There is a second floor with some seating too so that's a nice bonus. Their app also have good monthly deals, which is one of the main reason why I returned.

Red bean buns are my go to since they're vegan, and this one did not disappoint!! I ordered the matcha red bean bun and it was delicious! There's a lot of bakeries who have basic or plain savory breads and a lot more sweet ones. I prefer savory over sweet so this was a nice stop for me. Not sure if it was worth the price compared to going to a nearby food stall, but it was enough to hold me over a couple of hours in the morning. It can get packed and busy in here so it's really more of a grab and go type of bakery.
