The crispiest!
Wendi K.

I love this Alaskan chain. They always have good vibes and great food. They let us chill here for a few hours before our flight. The chicken tenders ($13.99) were literally some of the crispiest tenders I've ever had. Lots of seating and clean too. Quick, attentive, and efficient service.

Listen, if you're anywhere near 49th Brewing Company and you don't stop in, you're basically committing a personal crime against your own taste buds. First off, Felicia deserves a medal, a trophy, and maybe her own holiday. I don't know what kind of customer service vitamins she takes, but she was out here delivering five-star energy like she's on a mission from the hospitality gods. Now let's talk food, because I was not ready. The Elk Burger? Off. The. Hook. I'm talking "call your mom and apologize for every bad burger you've ever eaten" levels of good. The wings? On point like they went to college, graduated early, and got a job before their friends. Perfectly cooked, sauced just right, and absolutely capable of converting wing-skeptics into believers. And if you're grabbing a beer don't play games get the Frequent Fire. That thing goes down smoother than a toddler sliding down a staircase of butter. It's flavorful, it's bold, and after two sips you'll be questioning why every other beer in your life has disappointed you. On top of all that, it's Thanksgiving, everything in town is closed, and these legends are staying open later. That alone makes them heroes. The place is clean, the vibe is inviting, the service is top-tier, and honestly... it felt like a blessing from the universe. If you need good food, good beer, and a good laugh in a place that treats you right, 49th Brewing Company is the move.

Food was good especially for what is to be expected at an airport restaurant. Everything came pretty quickly.

Solid option for a quick meal before catching a flight! Came by for dinner and ate at the bar to watch Monday night football. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Ordered the halibut and chips and it was delicious. The location in town (by the Hilton) is better but for airport food this is an excellent option!

What more can you say. Digesting an epic Alaskan trip while sitting in the Ted Stevens International Airport drinking some 49th state beers. Service and ambience is fantastic in this bustling environment. Alaska is the final frontier.

Hello Travelers, If you happen to be flying out of Anchorage airport, this restaurant is a good option to get a drink and some food. The food quality is okay nothing to be impressed by. Prices are a bit high compared to the quality. Service fine not very friendly on that particular time. Everyone can have a bad day. Family friendly ambiance. Check it out and safe travels.

This place serves bar food and beer. They also have a gift shop. They serve reindeer hotdogs, elk smash burgers, halibut fish and chips. Service is quick, nice ambience . Save your time and forgo the Norton Seafood restaurant in the terminal and come here instead.

I stopped at 49th State Brewing - Airport at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport for a quick bite before my flight. Service was great -- my server, Mina, was friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated, especially in a busy airport setting. I ordered the Frequent Flyer BLT ($16.99) and a Diet Coke ($4.29). The sandwich itself was decent but a bit disappointing -- it really lacked enough bacon to live up to the BLT name. The flavors were fine, but for nearly $17, I expected a little more substance. Prices are definitely on the higher side, though that's typical for airport dining. After a 4% service charge and a tip, my total came to about $26. Overall, good service and a nice atmosphere, but the food didn't quite deliver for the price.

Alaska 8 star lager.

I ended up at the airport 9 hours before my flight. Had a brat with stone ground mustard and sauerkraut. Amazing! Caroline was there all alone, so she was a bit slow on service. I had to get up and ask for another lager. But she was sweet as can be. I ate at the elevated counter because there were outlets all along the top and I needed to organize my receipts from the unplanned 10 day adventure. This trip was only supposed to be one day.

Had dinner here before the flying out of Anchorage. It's a seat-yourself restaurant in the airport with casual atmosphere. It was still busy even if it's already 9:30 PM. After seating ourselves, our server came. Service was not bad but it was busy and there were only a few servers around. The 49th State Burger, 49th State's Famous Halibut and Chips and the 49th Street lemonade raspberry variant were all okay. Overall, food was decent but nothing impressive.

Hungry at the airport, we needed a good spot to sit and have a bite before our flight back to CONUS. 49th State Brewing is an Alaska-themed restaurant. We were a party of four, and we sat at the hightops. We were promptly greeted and given menus. We all ordered flatbread or a burger. There was no beer this round, but I read the menu. It's extensive. Food came relatively quickly. The food quality was good. The service was good. Expect airport prices. Overall, I was recommended while at the Anchorage Airport.

I was in beautiful Anchorage and…read morewanted to grab some lunch. 49th state brewing was perfect because it wasn't far from my hotel and because it was so cold outside, I didn't want my walk to exceed 15 minutes. I was really hungry so I got there right when they opened at 11 a.m. I was able to be seated immediately and opted to sit upstairs where the tables were lower as compared to downstairs where the tables were high tops. Off the bat the food is phenomenal. For starters I got their popular handmade Bavarian pretzel. It was perfectly seasoned with butter and salt and the pretzel itself was soft and fluffy. It came with a side of cheese which was just as tasty. I was a little nervous it would taste like the melted cheese you eat at an amusement park- but this cheese had fantastic quality. One really neat thing about this brewery is they make their own fountain drinks! I tried the raspberry one and as you can see they aren't shy about the portions! The drink was really good. It had a great flavor to it, and a nice balance. The raspberry wasn't overpowering which I'm grateful for. For my entree I had the Yak burger that came with a side of tater tots. My waiter recommended I get it cooked at medium to keep it juicy. Typically I'm a medium well to well done type of girl, but I decided to trust his judgement and he was right! The burger was huge, messy, and delicious. The medium was definitely a good call. It was juicy but not so red where it would be off putting! Overall, I had a really incredible dining experience at 49th state brewing. And the prices were unbelievably reasonable. My meal came out to about $52 (not including my tip). I would love to come back when it's a bit warmer and sit outside- the views from the restaurant are phenomenal. Also, shout out to my waiter! I didn't get his name but he was so kind and the service was excellent!

I calculated our meal cost before paying and it was around $5 higher on the bill presented than what it was listed on the menu. Midnight Sun Brewing is one of the Alaskan ones I tried a while back and I felt that the beer I had was very solid and enjoyable. In fact Alaska in general thus far I have enjoyed the breweries there considerably. The beer I had from this brewery was the Panty Peeler which is a Belgian Tripel. A good beer for sure and is a good pairing with fish and chips or a burger. Flavor highlights with this beer are sweet, strong and fruity but all in a well balanced way. The beer goes down smooth and is light bodied. A good beer to start for me with this brewery. I'd loved to try more of their beer options. Love the brewery's swag and have a t-shirt or two and would love to score a hoodie that I had my eye on but it was out of stock so I'll try back later.

It features a blend of barstool window seats, barstool bar seats, high-top tables, and standard-height tables. We went for a very late lunch, which made the quick food delivery and yet under-attentive service a little perplexing. Having spent last summer in London, the attraction at TCT for us was comparing and contrasting Alaska Halibut Fish & Chips with the British fare. I wanted to like the Tent City offering; I really did not. For the price ($28/ea), we got three modest pieces of fish and the equivalent of two servings of chips. Both the fish and the chips were mushy (undercooked), with a heavy batter finish in contrast with the light and crisp British offering. The accompanying tarter sauce was an odd raspberry-and-blackberry concoction that my family and I called a pickle aftertaste. The presentation, for the price and the atmosphere, was a confusing combination of a metal basket lined with wax paper (like a 1950's drive-through), plastic water and soda glasses (like a college cafeteria), and real silverware. Other reviews have high praise for TCT so, on our next visit to Alaska, it will be good to give them another try. The bones of this establishment are in place for a really special experience, but, today, for me, it was just "ok."

They really missed the mark. For starters we got my husband's usual Chipotle steak pizza. Right off the bat I notice it's a weird oval kind of shape. It's not a circle and the pieces don't add up. I'm positive that the someone in the kitchen sliced out the middle the pizza and put it in the box like it wouldn't be noticed. Worst of all. I ordered a pound of their Korean style wings. I usually love these. I thought initially that these are so tiny it's a good thing it's by the weight, not quantity. Well. These were not fit for consumption. I managed to eat two wings that were on the crunchy side. The rest were unfit for consumption. We're talking chicken wing jerky. A bite cracks right through the bone, crunchy marrow, dry translucent meat. What a disappointment. This wouldn't even be something you could feed a dog. So bad. This experience was the worst I've had with Moose's Tooth. It was so disappointing and also weird. Do better.

Two of us ordered the burger and it was honestly excellent--made with a blend of ribeye and tenderloin, and you could taste the difference. Really well constructed and flavorful. I went with the mushroom soup and a Caesar salad, and both were solid choices; fresh, satisfying, and better than your average "safe" menu items. The cocktail selection was also strong, but the smoked old fashioned was way too sweet. It needed to be toned down on the sugar to let the bourbon and smoke shine through. Overall: great food, great drinks selection, and a good bar atmosphere.. just be prepared for a slower start on service during peak nights.
