It's a small store, 4 or 5 staff, facility is kinda old, but all staff are nice and friendly. The girl who did my nails is new, so an experienced lady helped her with my nails, too. If they can be more gentle while doing manicure, that would be better. But I'm still pretty satisfied with this experience. I was not so happy with one nail color after the new girl finished, so the experienced lady fixed it right away. This is a small but affordable and friendly place. I am one of those who rarely visit a salon. But I found this place really conveniently located. Tina who did my nails did a fabulous job with a smile. She was also willing to explain my newbie manicure questions. She asked me to pay before she color my nails and that was mainly so that my nail color doesn't get spoiled handling the wallet. Also they are open to walk ins which is great for unplanned maintenance. I finished my regular manicure within 30 mins and it costed me just $15. I live 5 minutes away from this salon, so I decided to give this hole in the wall a shot based on the reviews. The staff in general is absolutely polite, however the quality of your manicure/pedicure will differ greatly depending on who does your nails. I like short acrylic nails, natural looking and durable. The young man "Ken" did my last new set, it was terrible. After soaking my beautifully constructed set off, because it was time, he attempted to create a new set for me. They were lumpy, jagged, and lifting (there was big bubbles under the acrylic). I had to go out of town the next day & could not go back immediately to voice my disappointment. I went in today for a fill & fix now that I'm back from my trip. While the owner rushed me in, I attempted to explain what happened, and she agreed that it was a bad set of nails. She half listened then ripped my acrylic nails off because she couldn't salvage them (she should have soaked them off) and gave me a new set. My nails are in pain & she tried to charge me $47 for a new set after she ripped them off because of Ken's mistake. I should mention that she dropped the brush of the floor and continued to use it on my nails! I've had a pedicure previously and it was decent, that's why I'm giving them 2 stars. read more

Having a 4-star review, I was under the impression that this was going to be a good experience. It was so far from that. I am actually horrified of this place. It has taken me about 5 months to be able to write a review and try to come up with words about how terrible my experience was. I will also place this as a disclaimer for women who know what I am talking about: this review is not for the weak-hearted. I walked-in for a pedicure and things were going great. . . until they virtually spent 20 minutes picking off the sides of my big toe nail and cutting off too damn much skin and cuticle. I do not have extremely dry cuticles/excess skin on my toes. They used their clippers to clip off the entire side of both my toe nails that it started bleeding out. This happened with both feet. They put their stingy solution that would keep it from bleeding some more and then some lotion on top of it. They let me go like that. My toes were swollen and red for the next two days. It hurt to walk in tennis shoes, so I was stuck wearing my ugly fur boots while this occurred. Just... no. It pains me to even think about it. read more

I've given this place a few chances but will not be returning. I recently started working in Bellevue, so I decided to start prowling for nail spots since my usual spot is all the way down in Kent. Anywhoo, found this place on Yelp and I would recommend elsewhere. Read on for more details. Yes the staff is nice but I'm not going to pay for a rushed, sloppy job. Even with an appointment expect to wait and have numerous people work on you. I waited half an hour for someone to start scraping my shellac off and sat idle with my hand in cold water before anything else was started. The shellac choices are not in abundance and to be honest pretty limited compared to other salons I've been to. The first time was better than my last experience, I noticed the sides weren't fully painted when I got home but I was okay with it, $25 is still cheaper than the $30 I cough up usually. But the last time though, I was not happy at all. For all of my fingers, the shellac polish wasn't painted all the way to the sides or down to my cuticles. It looks extremely sloppy near the cuticle area, there's random streaks and uneven blotching. My massage was super rushed, it wasn't even a real massage. Also, for those who want some sort of design, even the basic designs is a complete bust and very disappointing. I do understand some Vietnamese, I don't look it BUT I don't think the staff should be gawking at each other about how much tip was given. Each time I was here, after I tipped and totaled the amount, I'd hear my tip amount blurted to the staff in Vietnamese. It wasn't just me either, as I sat there waiting for someone to help, I heard this happen for every single customer. Maybe it's their way to gauge who should be paid more attention to but very unprofessional. Super nice to their regulars though, they probably tip $$$. Oh and they always try to up sell you. DO YOU WANT YOUR LIP WAXED? No... As I was leaving, the convo was like THANK YOU, NEXT TIME LET US HELP YOU WITH YOUR BROWS. Seriously? I just had my brows threaded, don't even try that with me. It's rude, my brows were fine and at that point, after everything I'll never come back here. Also they had no real brow service area, they do it near the nail drying table LOL. read more

This is such an adorable old school nails location. Everyone is very friendly and they have a great selection of colors. They worked in myself and a friend with no appointment for gel manicures on a Friday, and gave me some foils for a special occasion as well. Pricing is good and they were quick. If you don't need the glamor and glitz of the more upscale salons, I would recommend this place, especially if you can become a regular, I'd think, from the staff's positive reactions when clients they knew well came in while we were there. :) read more

I came here for an impulse stop. These ladies are so friendly. I had no appointment and decided I wanted a French shellac and didn't have to wait long. They were life savers. I had an event that night and my nails were the last thing on my mind for this banquet. It's a smaller location, but they had a decent selection of colors and services. There's a small parking lot that they share and worst case there's plenty of parking around that's a quick min 1 min walk away. I recommend this place for their quality, fast and friendly service. A small business totally worth supporting. Prices are fair and better than the other salons in the Bellevue area. If you need a mani/pedi this will be my spot for Bellevue. I also especially enjoyed the massage after my manicure. Great pressure release after they leave your finger tips pretty. read more

Took off 3 of my acrylic nails and didn't replace them and still charged me for a full set when it was only a fill. lengths did not match, when comparing hands they are two different lengths on the fingers. I've been twice, once for a wax and once for a pedicure. I called ahead to see if they did underarm waxes and they said yes, but when I arrived they did not have a wax room and just wanted to do it out in the open. I asked if I could have privacy, and a very nice lady ushered me behind a tiny curtain in the back in their kitchen area. I sat awkwardly on one of their pedicurist's chairs a few inches from stacks of food and cleaning supplies while someone ran back and forth getting wax from the front room. It was incredibly uncomfortable and unsanitary (my hair being ripped out next to their eating area). The second time I went for a pedicure. They cut way too much into the cuticles, digging until there was no skin left and causing redness, soreness, and mild bleeding. She put Neosporin on afterwards which was nice, but it was absolutely not necessary to cut away as much of my nail bed as she did. This is not a sterile or medical environment, they should not be breaking the skin- it is unsafe and could cause infection. I also didn't see any evidence of instrument cleaning or hand washing during either visit. So, overall, very nice employees, but unsanitary practices- I won't be returning. read more

I went in for pedicure and powder dip. Got talking about tattoo brows and something I have been considering for years since now in my 2nd stage of life, barely any eyebrows left. So, I looked at the makeup of my technician and she was beautiful and very well manicured. Saw some prior photos of others she has performed various permanent makeup, brows, etc. . Did a practice run and then I say, let's go for it. I was so stressed and nervous as this is permanent yet if done correctly, the outcome would be amazing. When I left it was overwhelming, wasn't sure I liked it and left a bit abruptly. Now day 2 and really starting to like it. I am SO sorry I left the way I did and I will see you again. I just found this little gem working in the area. They do the best job I have ever seen on the cuticles and polish around the nail cuticle. A lot of places do a terrible job ripping up my skin in the days after a mani. My manis last forever and the staff here is so nice! My pedicure is also spotless. Prices are super reasonable as well. I get shellac and acrylic and they always turn out wonderful and last at least two weeks. After going to many of the nail salons in bellevue I am so happy I've found a place that is so friendly, and never judgmental. The shop was in unsanitary condition. I greeted all workers and was ignored. As they forced me to get shellac on my nails, I sat down for my pedicure as well. They don't use the plastic liners in the basins further proving not being sanitary. I don't know of this is something shops do but I don't get Mani/pedis often so they are a treat. Buy two different times in different shops the nail tech leaves the dead skin on my hand/feet to show me and it feels a bit shameful. I get it you think because I have more to love that you can charge me more and shake me for whatever but it is unprofessional. Also, I had to keep asking the women if my nails were done. On top of all this, their nail lamp was broken and the woman was using a magazine as the bottom of the lamp. She cut my cuticles on my right hand and never apologized. I was able to do a drop in appointment for a pedicure/manicure. I went based on the other reviews. The place is a bit of a hole in the wall. They were able to get me in right away and do my mani/pedi at the same time which I really like. The chairs are a bit outdated. When the massage feature is on, they sound really loud and kind of old. The manicure was not great. It was done by a youngish guy. He had long nails and one was a long green acrylic nail on his pinky. It kind of grossed me out a little. He didn't do a good job. When he was done, my nails were still kind of rough and didn't look that great (I just had them cleaned up, no polish, etc). The pedicure was better-- it turned out really nice thought the amount of massage was almost non-existent. Overall, I'd stop in here again if I was short on time and needed a quick manicure/pedicure (as was the case this time) but wouldn't make this my main go-to. read more
